A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1278: They'll Be Fine And Grow Even Stronger

Archer looked at Aeris, whose red eyes gleamed in the morning sun before telling her everything he knew. ''They are a monster I haven't seen yet. Either my Shadows or Stone Men captured them over the years.''

Vivienne giggled at this response as she revealed in an amused tone. ''Well, if that shocks you two, wait until you encounter the other nightmares that lurk in this place. I couldn't imagine what your people would think if they saw this.''

When he heard this, he closed his eyes and scanned the entire Domain only to stumble, which surprised the two women. Aeris looked concerned before asking while holding his arm. ''Is everything okay, handsome?''

Archer nodded while rubbing his chin. ''There isn't a word to express how many monsters call this place home, but back in my old world, it would be a decillion,'' he explained.

''What's that?'' the ant queen questioned with a confused expression. ''You do use some weird words sometimes.''

''I'm aware, Vi, but it's one with thirty-three zeros,'' he answered while scanning the bushes and noticing something creeping around.

Archer quickly used Mana Manipulation to pull the creepy-looking beetle toward him. The beetle was the size of a small dog and had a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth that dripped with venom that broke down bodies.

It tried to bite him while letting out vicious noises that only made him laugh in amusement before he crushed it using his mana. Moments later, the two women backed off as Vivienne revealed what it was.

''They are Fleshcraver Beetles,'' she said with a shiver. ''If I remember correctly, they feed off dead bodies after a battle, but why did you bring them here? They are evil little bastards that attack anything living.''

''My servants brought ninety-nine percent of the things that lurk here,'' Archer replied as they continued deeper into the forest. ''Like I told you, I don't know most of the monsters here.''

Aeris gazed at the corpse with fascination, her crimson eyes glowing with mana. A slow smirk tugged at her lips as she murmured, ''Incredible. I can feel the death aura radiating from them… but it seems they're untamed, wild.''

Archer and Vivienne burst into laughter before the three of them carried on, following the ant queen deeper into the forest. Eventually, she led them to a secluded clearing that was surrounded by primal-looking trees.

His eyes widened at the sight of enormous bees buzzing back and forth from a towering hive. They were a dark green color and more beefy-looking compared to the ones back on Earth.

'Oh, they look like jacked-up wasps,' he thought with a smile.

''Here they are handsome,'' the ant queen commented. ''This is where I get the Royal Honey, thanks to my workers.''

Following that, Archer approached the hive while the two women stood behind as they didn't want to get stung. Once he got close, a swarm of bees rushed out and shot toward him but instantly stopped when feeling his aura, which stopped them in their tracks.

This made him smile before he spoke in a commanding tone. ''Take me to your queen. I have business with her.''

Upon hearing this, the monsters obediently entered the hive, with him following close behind as the two women started following him. Stepping into the tunnel, he noticed dead flowers and plant material covering the ground that made it soft,

After ten minutes of walking through the dark tunnels, he stepped into a massive underground chamber with stone walkways stretching in all directions. When Vivienne and Aeris saw this, their eyes widened as the Wraith woman commented.

''This place is massive. How do the creatures build it?'' she questioned.

Archer was about to reply but the ant queen was the one to talk. ''They dig into the ground while expanding the top part of the hive which is full of warrior Blightbees that are ready to react in case monster's attack.''

Following that, they arrived at a massive hole at one side of the underground chamber just as a soft woman's voice echoed in his mind. 'Are you here to harm me? And why did you bring her?'

His eyebrow rose as he turned back to Vivienne, who giggled. ''It seems she knows who am I handsome. Should I go? I'd rather not ruin anything,'' she asked with a smile.

Archer shook his head firmly while speaking. ''No. There's no need for you to leave. All the monsters will fight together when the war begins.''

He turned just in time to see a massive giant bee hover out of the hole, narrowly avoiding its descent that could have easily crushed him. Archer's eyes widened in awe as he took in the creature.

Its size was staggering, at least ten times larger than the regular Blightbees. Seconds later, he shook his head. ''I brought the ant queen because she's my woman and can go anywhere she likes,'' he said with a knowing smile.

When Vivienne heard this, her eyes widened, and her voice brimmed with excitement as she eagerly asked, ''Are you making it official, Arch?''

''Yes, but we'll talk about it later,'' he replied before glancing at the bee queen. ''You won't have an issue with her or the other generals. I'm here to help you and your children grow stronger so other monsters can't harm you.''

The Blightbee Queen's dark eyes gleamed with interest, causing her to reply moments later. 'How will you do that?'

Archer smiled when sensing her interest. ''Come here and I'll show you,'' he replied.

The monster hovered closer until it was within arm's reach. Without hesitation, he reached out and sent mana coursing into its body. As the energy surged through her, the creature released a piercing screech, triggering the warriors to act.

Aeris panicked at this and instantly transformed into her Dark Wraith form before covering Archer in a dark shield while killing the ones that got close enough. Vivienne didn't move as the Blightbees charged toward her, but they were all crushed in a rush of powerful mana.

''Stupid monsters,'' he muttered in an amused tone.

Both women turned to him, who used Mana Manipulation to kill the surrounding monsters until the queen screeched, causing the other monsters to return to their duties as he continued to empower the creature.

Ten minutes later, Archer stepped back with a big smile as he spoke. ''Give it a few days and you'll see a tremendous improvement in your power, but for now, try to rest so you don't strain your body.''

'What about my children?' the queen asked. 'Will they be okay?'

''They'll be fine and grow stronger than ever,'' he answered while motioning to nearby eggs. ''Check them out to see the difference.''

The Blightbee Queen let out another screech and a group of workers rushed in to fuss over the eggs. While they did this Vivienne and Aeris appeared next to him as the Wraith spoke with a curious glint.

''What did you do to them, Arch?'' she asked.

''Sent some of my mana into the queen and hive to empower everything,'' Archer replied with a charming smile.

Moments later, a chorus of joyful screeches echoed through the hive, bringing a satisfied grin to Archer's face. ''There you have it,'' he said, his smile widening. ''The monsters are thrilled. Their eggs are now four times as powerful, which means they can defend themselves.''

Following that, the queen approached them and lowered her head. 'Thank you, master. My children are healthy now,' her calm voice echoed in his mind.

Archer waved her away with a smile while replying. ''Just grow stronger. I'll come and check on you in a week or two.''

The three of them left the hive as Vivienne commented with a frown. ''I have to go check on the egg chambers. My workers are scared because a group of monsters snuck into the colony, but my assassins dealt with them.''

When Archer heard this, he closed his eyes and scanned her home, only to notice some horrifying-looking spiders infesting the Nightmare Ant Colony, causing him to think. 'These are sneaky monsters, but stupid.'

Without wasting time, he teleported the one hundred monsters he found to a nearby clearing to trap them there as he spoke to Vivienne. ''Go calm the ants down. I've got all the creatures that were hiding in the colony.''

The redhead beamed before hugging him tightly as she replied. ''Thank you for helping, handsome. The Nightweavers have been a pain in my ass for the last few weeks and have been attacking the food chambers.''

''Nightweavers? That's their name?'' he questioned.

Vivienne nodded. ''Yes. There's a colony in the north and south who have been fighting each other for supremacy even though they're the same race, which is weird, but who am I to judge the spiders?'' she explained while tying up her hair.
