Chapter 1395: Do You Mind If I Have This One, Please?
Archer and Morena followed the commander of the docks, Homeguards Tharnak. The older man turned to him and spoke. ''I'm surprised to see you down here, my emperor. It's unusual for the imperial family to travel here themselves.''
''Get used to it because me and the empresses tend to do our own thing across the kingdom,'' he replied to the man. ''Plus, I can't stand sending my maids to do something that would take me minutes to do myself.''
Tharnak's jaw dropped, making the couple laugh as Morena added. ''You'll always see us around the city; it's not like we hide from the people. Us women like interacting with the citizens.''
''No wonder everyone loves you and the empress,'' the older man said while looking at him. ''Not just generous but humble as well.''
Just then, a bad feeling hit Archer causing him to scan the dragon tattoos only to locate Lucrezia who was on Pluoria. When seeing she was injured his aura skyrocketed and sent the surrounding people to their knees.
''Damn Alliance,'' he muttered after realizing Demi-Gods and Terravians ambushed her.
Without missing a beat, he teleported him and Morena to Lucrezia. They instantly materialized in front of the blonde. When the older woman saw the scene, she knew what was happening.
She turned to Archer and spoke with determination. ''Will you allow me to show you why I am the strongest necromancer on Thrylos, husband?''
''Be careful,'' he answered.
The older woman smirked. ''Oh, don't worry about little old me, handsome. I'll show these dogs who deals with death and who the pretenders are,'' she said.
As the Terravians unleashed their magic, a portal tore open the air, spewing forth a horde of Mutated Humans, twisted, hulking monstrosities that encircled Morena. The white-skinned necromancer stood unshaken.
'She better be alright,' Archer thought while watching the scene.
A laugh escaped her lips, her blue eyes igniting with an otherworldly fire as she spoke with unshakable confidence. ''You dare challenge me with these? Mere shadows of true undeath. Only we Dead Walkers command the true soldiers of the grave.''
In that instant, Morena transformed. Her mana erupted in a storm of energy; the air itself trembled. The ground shook as her voice boomed across the battlefield. ''Arise, my Death Knights! Come forth and show my enemies the true might of death!''
Seconds later, a portal ripped open behind her, its edges pulsing with chaotic undead mana. From its depths marched an army of Death Knights, towering, armored titans wreathed in shadow, their eyes burning.
Each step shook the earth, their weapons gleaming with the promise of annihilation. The Terravians faltered, their mutated soldiers paling as the unstoppable tide of her undead legion.
Archer stood there holding Lucrezia in a princess carry, his sharp eyes locked on the clash below, where Morena's power unfurled. Her Death Knights tore into the Terravians' Mutated Humans with relentless fury.
The horrible creatures, flesh warped and eyes glowing with malice, surged forward in a mindless tide, only to be met by the Knights' blades. Each swing of their swords cleaved through sinew and bone.
This sent sprays of ichor into the air as the ground trembled beneath their advance. Morena stood at the heart of the fray, her white skin radiant under the flickering light of her crackling mana, her blue eyes blazing with unshakable resolve.
With a flick of her wrist, she commanded her legion, her laughter slicing through the battlefield's screams like a razor. The Mutated Humans fell, limbs shattered, skulls crushed, as the Death Knights relentlessly cut their numbers down.
'Wow, they're strong,' he thought with a big smile. 'It seems like she has her secrets.'
Archer was watching but noticed more Demi Gods moving in on Morena, prompting him to shoot forward after putting Lucrezia down so she wouldn't get hurt during the upcoming fight.
A violet streak slammed into the opponents' ranks, tearing into the enemies with his claws. Blood rained down before he grabbed the closest one's neck and snapped it with a twist of his wrist.
He continued attacking the stronger opponents while the older woman dealt with the humanoid army. Archer killed the last of the Alliance Demi-Gods and rejoined the beautiful necromancer at the rear.
She greeted him with a pretty smile. ''Hello, handsome. What did you think?''
''You're powerful, Morena, stronger than I imagined,'' he replied, mirroring her smile.
Once the battle was over, Archer glanced at Lucrezia after picking her up back up, making the blonde to smile. ''Thank you for coming, husband,'' she muttered.
''Always Luce,'' he replied, kissing her on the forehead, this made her shiver in delight.
Following that, the three of them returned to the Domain just as more enemies appeared at the scene, but they were already gone. The group appeared in the treehouse, where he put the Mosasaur woman down, prompting her to smile.
''I'm going to rest for a while,'' she muttered, yawning. ''I used up too much mana.''
Archer gave her a kiss and cuddle as the blonde walked off while stretching forcing her ass to jiggle that caught his eyes. Lucrezia turned around with a knowing smile. ''Come see me tonight, husband. It would be good to spend some alone time with you.''
''I'll send him along with some pizza,'' Morena spoke with an excited expression. ''He's going to teach me how to make it.''
''Thank you,'' the younger woman said, leaving the living room behind.
Without wasting time, Archer grabbed the necromancer's hand and teleported them to her new kitchen. Once they appeared, Morena started getting to work organizing all the stuff they bought from the market.
He was dragged in and started putting away vegetables and tinned food. The older woman was loving the time they were spending together, making her to relax with a big smile as she spoke. ''We got so much stuff thanks to your suggestions.''
Archer waved her away before sending some Shadow Creatures back to Earth to gather all the ingredients he needed to make the food he missed. Ten minutes later, the monsters returned and dumped it all on the counter.
''What the hell is all this, Arch?'' Morena questioned with narrowed eyes.
He didn't respond while sending his mana washing over the food to destroy all the harmful stuff and quickly replaced it using his power, causing the necromancer woman to grow even more confused.
Once Archer was done, he shook his head and explained. ''This is stuff from my old world, but it's laced with horrible things, so I removed them while replacing them using my mana so they taste the same.''
When the older woman heard this, she sighed. ''Oh, thank you, I don't want to poison you or sister,'' she replied.
Following this, he started teaching Morena how to make pizza along with the toppings. This prompted him to create two ovens that could fit the food, which caused the necromancer to beam just as he finished.
As they spoke, Demacia slipped into the kitchen, her wide blue eyes scanning the scene. ''What are you two up to? Leaving me out of this surprise?'' she asked with a playful frown.
Archer turned to the younger of the two and appeared in front of her, he raised her chin, pressing a passionate kiss against her plump lips. This made the beautiful woman stiffen when feeling this.
Moments later, they broke apart as he spoke. ''It was a surprise. Morena wants to cook for us, so I made this place for her.''
''Oh, okay,'' she replied with a smile.
Demacia rushed to her sister's side, eagerly joining in as they prepared pizzas. Archer kept an eye on the process, and after a couple of hours, the older woman pulled the golden, bubbling pizzas from the oven.
Once that was done, Morena slid one over to him while speaking. ''Try some husband and tell me what you think.''
He did as she asked and took a bite after cutting it into slices using Mana Manipulation. When he chewed it, his eyes widened in surprise, nodding. ''Delicious. Do you mind if I have this one, please?''
''Be my guest, handsome,'' she answered. ''It's for you and Lucrezia. I have to go help Dem with the experiments once we're finished here.''
Following that, Archer said his goodbyes to the sisters before teleporting to Lucrezia's room in the Domain, only to surprise the Mosasaur woman who was lazing around on her bed, eating some chocolate.
She looked up with glowing red eyes and spoke while smiling. ''Hello there, husband. I'm glad you remember little old me.''
Silently, Archer approached the blonde and kissed her, a gesture she warmly returned. He then retrieved the pizzas, setting them on the bed beside the young woman. ''Here you go, my love,'' he said softly.
Moments later, the two started eating as Lucrezia was enjoying the freshly cooked ham and tomato pizza. This caused her to let out a moan in delight as she loved it before speaking with a bug smile. ''This is delicious, Arch. Morena is a good cook, it seems.''
