A Multiverse Tale: Hope in Another World!

Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Fiancée and Danzo

"Peerless in this world, the pinnacle of all…"

Tsunade's gaze lingered on Takuma Kirie, a swirl of emotions in her eyes.

If anyone else had said it, she'd have brushed it off as delusions of grandeur.

But this kid?

Only Takuma Kirie—perfectly wielding the Senju clan's Wood Release and the Uchiha clan's Sharingan—had the chops to back it up.

It wasn't bravado or a lofty goal—it was stark, undeniable truth.

Realizing she couldn't sway him quickly, Tsunade gritted her teeth and settled for a fallback.

"Kirie, you've got Senju blood too. At the very least, I hope you'll agree to the same deal as the Uchiha."

"When you're older, marry a Senju woman—keep our bloodline alive."

She set scrolls for Mystical Palm Technique and Chakra Enhanced Strength on the table.

"Consider this the Senju dowry. I promise to pass down Grandpa's sage Wood Release too."

"Deal."

Kirie's eyes glinted, a sly smirk flickering as a thought crossed his mind.

"But I pick the bride. Gotta be someone I like, right?"

"Fine, as long as she's Senju," Tsunade nodded, satisfied, oblivious to his angle.

Kirie pocketed the scrolls and tossed her a Rasengan training guide.

"Here's my No-Seal Ninjutsu: Rasengan—a little thank-you for you, Big Sis Tsunade."

Her frame jolted at the title, but she let it slide. Unrolling the scroll, her eyes widened at the technique's power and method.

"You… invented this no-seal jutsu?"

"Damn right!" Kirie puffed up with pride.

"Your talent… it's terrifying."

Tsunade stowed the scroll, her expression tangled as she stood to leave. At the door, she glanced back at the Senju's last bloodline heir, murmuring softly:

"Peerless in this world… the pinnacle… Yeah, that's right."

---

Midnight.

Takuma Kirie snapped awake, eyes narrowing. Four masked Anbu loomed before him.

"Takuma Kirie, Lord Danzo demands your presence," rasped the cat-masked one.

A shuriken gleamed in the ninja's hand behind him.

Kirie didn't flinch, sizing them up with curiosity.

Right on cue. Tsunade and the Uchiha came sniffing, and Danzo couldn't sit still anymore.

Four jonin-level ninja? This old coot's got high hopes for a mere academy kid!

He didn't dawdle, flipping off the covers—still fully dressed—and sauntered over with a breezy tone.

"Lead the way, gents. With four jonin around, this little student ain't running anywhere."

The Anbu stayed silent. Two flanked him, and in a blink, they Body Flickered a kilometer out.

No point hiding the Root's base—Kirie had two paths: get sealed and join, or…

---

Moments later.

Kirie sat shackled in an interrogation room.

The stench of blood hung thick, torture tools glinting coldly along the walls. Wartime or peace, few ninja walked out of here upright.

A typical academy kid would've cracked by now.

But Danzo, watching from the shadows, saw no fear. Kirie scanned the room, even peering toward the door with what looked like… anticipation?

This brat's a tough nut—torture won't break him!

Danzo's face darkened, his impatience spiking.

He couldn't hold Kirie long—too many eyes in the village. If he couldn't bend the kid fast, it'd have to be…

Dismissing his Root agents, Danzo strode in alone.

"Kid, two choices: join the Root, fight the Uchiha and Tsunade, take my Self-Cursing Seal and Tongue Calamity Seal as my pawn—or die to keep the village safe."

Shimura Danzo slammed a kunai into the table, his glare dripping with killing intent.

"Pick one!"

"Shimura Danzo, they're my blood kin, my friends!" Kirie shouted.

"So you're saying…?" Danzo's eyes narrowed murderously.

"You gotta pay extra!!!"
