A New Light Remake

Light's vision started to become a bit clear.

"Ugh, what happened to me"

After a few seconds he was able to see grass.

(Grass?)

He looked up and saw that there were no trees around. He looked around himself and saw a village or a town nearby. The people there looked peaceful and just normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Oh sweet, a town. Now I can figure out where I am."

He walked over to the village and he saw one of people walking towards him so he thought it was good chance to talk to him.

"Oh! Hey! Hey sir!"

He ran over to the man and at him.

"Excuse me but could tell me where I am?"

The man didn't answer instead he continued walking.

"Um excuse me? Hello?"

He waved his hand in front of him and as the man walked he phase straight through his hand. This massively confused light, he looked at his hand just dumbfounded.

"What just.."

Just as he talking, a couple of kids playing had phased though his legs. He watches them run as others also walk through him.

(Am I invisible?)

He then went around to others to wave his hand in front of them to see if they really don't notice him. They didn't show any reaction at all, no one saw him. After this he decided to not think about why he's invisible to and decided to continue walking.

"Now's not the time to think about this, I need to find answers to my questions."

He then started walking through the town. He went through stores and inns. But he saw nothing interesting other than the marks that the people had. The mark was that of a tree rooting from a person, and this person varied. The men with the mark would have a male and the womens would have a female on the them. As light was walking he came across a place where it looked like a teenager was getting a tattoo of some kind. He didn't really know what to call it but it was similar to a tattoo.

But then he realized that they weren't born with the mark but it's instead put it on them.

"Why are they marking themselves?"

He decided to leave them be as it wouldn't help his situation at the moment. He continued walking and while walking he found people going down a path that leads into a forest. He decided to follow them into the forest down the path. As the he followed he then stops in tracks. It was a building that looked similar to a temple.

Curious, he walks into the temple and he looked around inside. There were depictions on the wall showing similar things that he saw on the pedestal. He then took more looks around the temple and he then saw that same pedestal in the middle of the temple. But this time it had his body on it. Well not his body but Neriah's body on it.

"What?"

He then realizes that this place are the ruins that he woke up in.

"Then.. what happened for it to be destroyed that badly?"

He then sees a lady come up with a child beside her. He watches her stand in front of the pedestal. She then gets on knees and puts her hands together while also closing her eyes.

"Is she praying?"

She then began to speak in a language that sounded familiar yet unknown.

אלוהים יקר, שנשמתו של נריה תגן על פיבי" המתוקה שלי מפני סכנה, אמן."

Then random words that are not English float into the air and enters the body of neriah. Light took a closer look at the words and was able to translate some of the words before they were gone.

"God? protect? And Phoebe? Is she asking for some protection for a person named Phoebe?"

The child next to the lady looked at her.

"Hey mom."

The lady who seemed to be the girls mom looked over.

"Yes Phoebe?"

"What was that?"

The mother looked confused.

"What was what sweety?

The girl points into the air while speaking.

"The golden words that went inside that man?"

Just as she said that, she looked over at light for a second before looking back at her mom. The mother looked into the girls eyes and saw a bit of a yellow shine that's overlooked by the blue in her eyes. The Lady chuckles a bit before getting back on her feet and taking the girls hand.

"That's what they call a blessing from the father."

Light watched this interaction and there was one thing that he had noticed. That girl was able to see him, she had made eye contact with him for a solid second before looking back at her mother. And she even saw the words that he saw that were floating.

"How is she able to see me?"
