Shura — a name given to the only enemy of mankind in the interstellar era.

Shura have the same appearance as the humans, the only difference in appearance were the horns on their head. Male Shura have a single horn coming from the middle of their forehead whilst the women have two horns.

The shuras wear masks since childhood, masks that are tailor made for them. It stays with them their entire life and is closely connected to their identity. Shuras had another particular way one can discover their status. The horns of the shura come in four colors.

Black, white, gold, and purple.

Black-horned shura are known as civilians, white-horned are elites, golden-horned are aristocrats, and the purple-horned are royalty.

The Shuras are strong, or so Long Tian had heard. Their strength is low and as they grow older and mature, their strength increases as well.

Shaking his head, Long Tian continued to reject the offer. He wanted to grow strong, and not be distracted by other things. Yet at that moment, he thought of something.

"Will I get paid?" He asked, his eyes looking over at Qin Xuan curiously. "Will I be able to get hyper geno arts?"

Qin Xuan was growing angry, disappointed that she couldn't get Long Tian to join her gang. If he joined her, then her gang would grow in strength.

Hearing Long Tian's question, Qin Xuan grew a little excited. "Yes," she answered. "Through missions, you will gain money and if you perform well, you might even get some Saint Hall licenses."

Long Tian smiled.

"Let me think about it."

Qin Xian's smile froze and she looked at Long Tian with a pout. "I'll give you some time, come to me when you have your answer. If you decide not to join, still come to me."

With a nod, he turned and left.

Qin Xuan bit her lip as she watched Long Tian leave. A talent was escaping from her and she didn't know how to get through to him. For a talent like Long Tian, she was willing to offer a special deal to him.

Him joining won't only benefit him when wanting to enter a military school, but she will also get a commendation and benefits. Yet what mattered to her most at that moment, was that such a talent will remain unnoticed and hidden.

She wanted him to grow as strong as he could, to unearth every bit of potential he had.

Like her family, Qin Xuan has a keen eye and is known for discovering talents. She didn't want Long Tian to never realize his true potential and stay stuck in first God's Sanctuary.

'I'll make him mine!' She declared.

Stepping out of the shelter and joining Han Sen, both went hunting. They killed a large ordinary creature, one for each of them. Due to its large size, they had to return to the shelter and take their time eating the creature they hunted.

Whether through bad luck or it was simply that difficult, both Long Tian and Han Sen didn't get the beast soul of the creature. That didn't stop them from continuing their hunts for the next few days.

They hunted and ate the creatures, taking long breaks as they digested and ate the entirety of the creatures. Every time Han Sen took his breaks and some days to rest, Long Tian had been spending his time training his spear skills and learning cooking.

Four weeks passed and Long Tian was in his apartment. He was on Skynet, closing some pages filled with cooking recipes and research notes of vegetation and meat of creatures from God's Sanctuary.

He had gathered quite the sufficient research not just from personal experience and knowledge, but also from other researchers on the forums.

On the forums, it was only a select few that were studying the vegetation of first God's Sanctuary. Others were also studying the creatures and Long Tian took note of them, bookmarking the various forums and reading them every once in a while.

Now, as he exited those pages, he finally focused on another matter. In the past four weeks, aside from spear and sword training and hunting ordinary creatures, Long Tian had been conducting another research that didn't involve food and God's Sanctuary's creatures, the geography.

He had already found the particular forums of Steel Armor Shelter and the other shelters around Steel Armor Shelter. Long Tian had gathered quite the amount of information and drawn a pretty large map. It contained various amounts of places that were properly labeled with names and the strength of the creatures that inhabited those places.

Aside from that, there are also areas that are labeled according to their danger.

A couple of places attracted Long Tian's attention, but he didn't plan to head there as of yet. At least not until he's stronger.

Why?

Because those particular places are filled with Sacred-blood creatures. The strongest level creatures can have in God's Sanctuary, their strength is overwhelming and not many can go toe to toe with them. Even people like Qin Xuan would still need to gather a large squad to hunt down a single Sacred-blood creature.

They were just that strong and difficult to deal with.

Folding up the maps he made, Long Tian smiled and pocketed them. He grabbed the damaged sword and carried it on his waist before walking out of his apartment.

Although he had the copper-toothed beast soul spear, Long Tian carried the sword for extra protection, even if broken, it would still serve well. He went back to the shelter and was heading to the entrance of Steel Armor Shelter before being stopped by the beautiful Qin Xuan.

With arms crossed beneath her breasts and her cold eyes staring right at him, Long Tian knew what she was here for. Still, he smiled and approached her with a curious look in his eyes.

"What brings you here, Xuan?" Long Tian asked, his eyes looking into her icy eyes.

Frowning, Qin Xuan walked forward and looked right into his golden eyes. Ignoring the people that were pointing at her and Long Tian, Qin Xuan began speaking.

"Why are you hanging out with that disgusting pervert?" Qin Xuan asked with an angry tone.

It was clear who she was talking about at this moment. The only person she could possibly call that would be Han Sen, the poor guy who had been suppressed and ostracised inside Steel Armor Shelter.

On the first day Han Sen had arrived here in God's Sanctuary, he had stabbed Qin Xuan in the ass. It wasn't on purpose either, he had simply believed that she was a creature, but she was simply shapeshifting.

From a simple misunderstanding, and losing face in front of everyone because a newcomer had stabbed her in the rear, Qin Xuan threatened anyone from teaming up with Han Sen. After all, he had made her butt and his stabbing the biggest joke of Steel Armor Shelter.

If he wanted to 'survive' in a team in God's Sanctuary, he would need to apply to join her gang in Steel Armor Shelter. Then, using her authority as a gang leader, put pressure on Han Sen until she felt satisfied.

Yet in an all these three months, he has still not come begging to join her squad so that she could punish him. It didn't bother her, but it made her have a somewhat better opinion of Han Sen.

But she wasn't about to relax on the threat she gave.

"Because he is a friend of mine," Long Tian said, with honest eyes.

Qin Xuan bit her lip as she looked at Long Tian's face, studying his every expression. Only honesty is completely visible on his face and in his bright golden eyes.

"You can't hang out with him anymore," she said, her angry tone softer than before. "Hang out with him and I can no longer discuss anything with you."

Long Tian looked at Qin Xuan and her unwavering eyes before sighing and looking at her with a wry smile. He tightened the grip on the sword's hilt and shook his head. "I can not stop hanging out with him just because you say so, Xuan. He's a good friend and he hasn't done anything bad at all."

Tapping his finger on the hilt, Long Tian removed the sword from his waist and handed it to Qin Xuan who looked at him with a frown. She received the sword, looking at him and then at the sword.

Furrowing her pretty nose, Qin Xuan shook her head and gave him back the sword. Her eyes narrowed and she pursed her lips together before she sighed.

"Go ahead and hang with him, but do not mention his name when we are together," Qin Xuan relented as she huffed and walked away.

"Did you hear that?! 'Together', what does that mean?"

"She has a lover!"

"Who's that loser?"

"Son of Heaven's going to kill someone."

The instant she left, whispers and rumors started running about. Just a misinterpretation of her words and everyone began spreading rumors without knowing the validity of the words or rumors.

And whilst Long Tian went hunting with Han Sen, a man ran out of the shelter after hearing the rumors.

Luo Zhao had been working under Son of Heaven ever since he entered God's Sanctuary. He received lucrative payments and was part of a powerful gang. If he can be the first to tell Son of Heaven about this rumor, then he can possibly receive some more benefits.

"Son of Heaven!"

Luo Zhao exclaimed the instant he found Son of Heaven. He traveled quite a distance, luckily Son of Heaven was nearby and it was only half a day of travel.

"Luo Zhao, what do you want?"

The one who answered wasn't Son of Heaven, but a lackey who was closer to Son of Heaven compared to Luo Zhao. Son of Heaven only gave Luo Zhao a small glance before focusing back on eating the mutant beast he had hunted a while ago.

Luo Zhao didn't mind who answered and simply responded, "It's Bullseye's leader Qin Xuan! She has a lover!"

The instant the words left Luo Zhao's mouth, the surroundings grew quiet and the subordinates turned to look at Son of Heaven who froze. Tossing the meat aside, he wiped his mouth clean and turned to look at Luo Zhao with angry eyes.

"Who is it?"

"It's a nobody! He entered the shelter a little more than a month ago," Luo Zhao reported. "His name is Long Tian."

"Long Tian…" Son of Heaven snarled. "Let's head back."

At his words, everyone began packing up in an instant before summoning their beast soul mounts. They returned to Steel Armor Shelter at full speed, arriving in less than half a day.

"Primitive copper-toothed beast killed. No beast soul gained. Eat the flesh of copper-toothed beast to gain 0 to 10 primitive geno points randomly."

It was night within God's Sanctuary and Long Tian was still off training and hunting creatures.

As the primitive copper-toothed beast fell dead to the ground, Long Tian unsummoned his primitive beast soul spear. He grabbed the corpse of the creature and carried it away before eating it at his little camp.

Han Sen had already returned to his home, planning on returning the next day, their target, the stoney creek next to the forest. He was stuck at 65 ordinary Geno points and he was now targeting the ordinary black beetles at the creek.

"Primitive copper-toothed beast flesh eaten. One primitive geno point gained."

Long Tian smiled and listened to his primitive geno points rising.

Long Tian: Not evolved.

Life span: 200 years.

Required for evolution: 100 geno points.

Geno points gained: 51 ordinary, 17 primitive.

Beast souls gained: Primitive copper-toothed beast(spear).

After eating many ordinary and three primitive creatures, Long Tian's geno points were increasing steadily. Although he was developing his points a little slowly, he was slowly catching up to Han Sen who had arrived a month earlier than him.

His strength, or as it's termed in this reality, fitness, is already slightly higher than Han Sen's fitness. Mostly thanks to the primitive geno points.
