Chapter 6: Cultivation Realms and Levels
Listen attentively; we will unravel the mysteries of the Nine Celestial Realms, the framework that governs our journey toward immortality. But remember, this path demands dedication, discipline, and a healthy dose of courage.
There are a total of nine celestial realms namely;
> The Mortal Realm (Earthly Brown)
> Spirit Refinement Realm (Deep Blue)
> Soul Cultivation Realm (Emerald Green)
> Divine Transformation Realm (Golden Yellow)
> Celestial Harmony Realm (Silver)
> Immortal Ascension Realm (Crimson Red)
> Dao Integration Realm (Deep Purple)
> Heavenly Sovereign Realm (Bright White)
> Primordial Realm ( Rainbow)..."
"Each of these realms has three levels; the Mortal Realm (Earthly Brown) is where your journey begins. It's the foundation upon which you will build your immortal strength. It has three levels;
Mortal Foundation (Dark Grey)
Mortal Refinement (Light Grey)
Mortal Peak (White Grey)
Next, the Spirit Refinement Realm (Deep Blue), this realm marks your entry into the world of spiritual energy, a realm that blends the physical and spiritual. It also has three levels;
Spirit Awakening (Dark Blue)
Spirit Tempering (Medium Blue)
Spirit Ascension (Light Blue)
Next on the list is the Soul Cultivation Realm (Emerald Green), here, you are now focused on nurturing your Soul, the essence of your being. This is where true power begins. As usual, it has three levels namely;
Soul Awakening (Dark Green)
Soul Forging (Medium Green)
Soul Transcendence (Light Green)
This is applied to all realms. The Guide will teach you more about this on your future journey.
Remember, child, this is merely a roadmap. The true journey of cultivation lies in the dedication, perseverance, and understanding that you cultivate along the way."
Lian Qin Yu's heart pounded as she absorbed the knowledge, rolling her eyes.
"So basically, I'm not even at level one." She sighed, rubbing her temples.
"This is going to be the longest grind of my life."
The remnant soul chuckled again, softer this time.
"Child, fate has a cruel sense of humor. But do not resent it too much – after all, it has gifted you a companion."
Before she could question further, a low growl rumbled from the depths of the Guide. The air crackled, and a wisp of golden light condensed into existence, swirling before her.
A shape began to form…
Small.
Delicate.
With an almost ridiculous amount of poise for something so tiny.
A miniature dragon, no bigger than a large cat, coiled gracefully before her. Its gold-white scales shimmered like pearls under moonlight, and two elegant curved horns sat atop its delicate head. Its molten-gold eyes flickered with intelligence.
Then, in the most dignified voice its small form could muster, it announced, "You're finally awake, little thing."
Lian Qin Yu blinked.
"Little thing? You are literally bite-sized!"
The dragon sniffed disdainfully, curling his tail around itself with exaggerated elegance.
"I am a noble being of unparalleled majesty. Show respect, human."
She raised a brow. "Oh? And what do I call this 'noble being'?"
The dragon hesitated.
"…I had a name. Once. But it was stripped from me along with my freedom."
"Since I have no name, you may address me as 'Your Eminence.'"
She hummed thoughtfully. "Yeah, no. I'll name you myself."
The dragon's eyes narrowed suspiciously.
After a moment of thought, Lian Qin Yu smirked.
"Moyu… fitting for something so small and dramatic."
The dragon froze.
"Moyu… meaning 'Blake Jade.'"
"Why Moyu, why not Zhen, Wang Bao, or something more majestic?" It protested.
Lian Qin Yu just stared at it with folded arms, unblinking, not sparing it another word.
The tiny creature gave an exaggerated sigh, feigning reluctance. "I suppose… I shall allow it." But the faint flicker of warmth in his golden eyes didn't go unnoticed.
She smirked. "Oh? And what will you allow next, my tiny Lord of Poise?"
Moyu huffed, its small chest puffing up. "I shall allow you to bask in my brilliance, of course."
Lian Qin Yu chuckled. "You mean babysit you while we both struggle at the bottom of the food chain?"
Moyu swished his tail. "Semantics."
The remnant soul chuckled at their banter, the sound growing fainter.
"The two of you suit each other well. Fate is not always kind, but it is never without reason."
Lian Qin Yu's amusement faded slightly. "…You're leaving."
A pause. Then, a soft sigh.
"I have lingered long enough. You are the new weaver of fate now."
Moyu lifted its small head. "You never told me your name, old one."
A faint warmth rippled through the air. "A name… it no longer matters. But I was once called Shen Yue."
The space trembled, and the figure slowly faded into golden wisps.
His final words lingered…
"Walk wisely, young weaver. And perhaps, one day… you will surpass us all."
Then, he was gone.
Lian Qin Yu let out a slow breath. A golden rune of the Celestial Weaver's Pact burned into her palm, signaling the start of her first trial. "…Well, that was dramatic."
Moyu stretched, flicking its tail elegantly. "A fitting farewell for one of his stature."
"Right," she drawled. Then she smirked. "So, what's next, tiny Lord of Poise?"
Moyu tilted its head. "We cultivate, of course."
She groaned. "And so it begins... my rise from rock bottom."
Moyu scoffed. "You are in for a very long arduous journey, human."
She sighed, rubbing her temples."
Moyu perched on her shoulder, sighing dramatically. "Try not to die too soon, human. I have standards."
Their journey had begun.
