Adopted The Main Villains

Chapter 0 - Prologue

Chapter 0 – Prologue

‘My father’s disappearance was not part of my plan.’

‘Daddy, where are you? I’m thirsty……’

‘Daddy, where are you!!!! Come out before I devour you!!! No! I’m just going to eat you!’

‘Did you run away because you’re afraid of me?’

I hear a voice that sends chills down my spine.

Surely, just 10 years ago, they were definitely cute children.

‘Master, your body has become dirty, it’s time to wash.’

The voice of the secretary who has been assisting me since I came here is no longer the businesslike voice from 10 years ago.

The eyes and words of a predator hunting its prey.

Goosebumps begin to spread across my entire body.

Not even the sound of breathing should escape.

‘It seems the master is not here.’

‘It seems so, Siren.’

‘Aurora, don’t worry. Father is strong, so he wouldn’t run away at the sight of Aurora. Rather, he’s someone who will love us.’

‘Y-Yes, Father approached me first….’

After the children’s brief chatter ended, they left this place.

‘Haa…. Haa…..’

My hands begin to tremble.

But my traces remain here and there, so soon they’ll know I’m here and come to this place.

Because those children are all geniuses.

‘Wales Village, Ken’s store.’

I moved to a place I hadn’t yet visited among the pre-marked locations.

A flash of light so bright I couldn’t see appeared, and I was transported to Ken’s tavern.

After moving, the first person I saw was Ken, the person who had treated me the best since coming to this world.

‘Caesar? You look terrible. What happened to you?’

Ken hurriedly supported me after seeing my appearance.

‘Your clothes are all torn, with only your pants barely holding on, and you’re covered in dust.’

‘Ken….. Let me stay here for just a few days.’

‘Alright, but what on earth happened to you…..’

‘I’ll explain the situation later. For now, some food…..’

‘Okay, there should be some leftover side dishes over there.’

Ken sat me down in a chair and went into the kitchen to get food.

‘Karg!!!!!’

But not long after, Ken’s scream was heard.

It was a signal to run away.

The children know I’m here.

I need to escape.

I need to go back to the marked location.

But teleportation isn’t working.

All the markings have disappeared.

Just until a moment ago, dozens of markings were still active.

But shortly after moving to this place, they had all vanished.

‘Father.’

‘The game of hide and seek is now over.’

‘So please stop running away.’

‘Just surrender yourself to us, Master.’

So you knew.

That I, without mana, could only move to places I had marked.

That I had been there.

That I would move to Ken’s shop.

You knew everything.

Of course you knew. You’re the capable children I raised.

What went wrong?

Before being caught by the children, I reflected on the 10 years I had spent here.

Indeed, it’s clear that my coming here was a mistake.

Because for my own survival, I brought the Four Calamities and the Elven Queen to my side.

‘Father, let’s go back now. To our home.’

And so I was forced into sleep by magic.
