After Being Reborn, I Refuse To Be The Holy Son Of The Sect Anymore

Chapter 75:

Chapter 75:

Xiao Yang finally vented his frustrations. His relentless stomping turned Qin Fei’s lower body into a ruined mess, leaving him in agony, teetering between life and death.

The ferocity of Xiao Yang’s actions stunned everyone present.

Qin Fei lay sprawled on the ground, having lost control over his bowels. The area reeked of filth, and a faint scent of charred flesh lingered in the air.

By now, a crowd had gathered around, watching the spectacle. Qin Fei, once proud and arrogant, had never been so humiliated. This was undoubtedly the most disgraceful moment of his life. Overwhelmed with shame and fury, he let out a bitter sob, a single tear tracing down his cheek as he whispered in despair, “Why… why are you doing this to me?”

Xiao Yang sneered. “Ah, Junior Brother, I warned you before to get rid of it, but you didn’t listen. Now look at you. Not only is your ‘vital root’ scorched, but your other bits are ruined too. Honestly, there’s no saving it now.”

He feigned a sigh of regret, though inwardly, he was ecstatic.

Seeing Qin Fei in such a pitiful state was immensely satisfying.

“You…” Qin Fei choked on his anger, coughing up blood before fainting.

“Junior Brother!” Jiang Ting cried out, rushing to his side without hesitation, ignoring the mess and smell. She knelt down, panic etched across her face.

“Senior Brother, how could you…” Jiang Ting glared at Xiao Yang, her eyes brimming with anger.

“What could I do? I was saving him! We’re fellow disciples, after all—I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.” Xiao Yang’s lips twitched as he struggled to suppress his laughter.

“True, Senior Brother did extinguish the fire. Without him, Junior Brother would have been far worse off,” Lin Wangchuan chimed in, joining them with an earnest nod.

“Senior Brother’s method might have been rough, but it saved Junior Brother’s life in the end,” Song Qiang added, barely holding back his laughter.

Just then, a voice interrupted them. “Aren’t these friends from the Azure Sun Sword Sect?”

The group turned to see a man dressed in white approaching, carrying an overstuffed storage bag that bulged like a sack. “I’m Song Ming of the Heavenly Medicine Sect. Let me examine this injured friend.”

Setting his storage bag aside, Song Ming crouched to inspect Qin Fei, who was regaining consciousness. “Don’t move. Let me see if there’s any way to save your, uh… vital root.”

Qin Fei’s eyes widened in alarm.

He immediately recognized Song Ming’s identity from the embroidered gourd insignia on his collar.

“A Six-Gourd Heavenly Physician…” Xiao Yang murmured, surprised. Such a rank indicated high-level medical skills within the Heavenly Medicine Sect, a faction renowned for its expertise in healing and alchemy.

“Can it… can it still be saved?” Qin Fei stammered, his voice trembling.

Jiang Ting turned away, unable to look, while Song Ming stared at the charred and mangled area for a long moment. He sighed deeply. “It’s… well-done. There’s no saving it.”

“Well… done?” Qin Fei froze, his face drained of color before he spat out another mouthful of blood and collapsed again.

“Unless…” Song Ming trailed off, his words hanging in the air.

“Unless what?” Qin Fei jerked upright, grasping desperately at this sliver of hope.

“Unless you ascend to immortality. During your transcendence to the celestial realm, your body would be reformed, and even your damaged parts could be restored,” Song Ming explained calmly.

“Immortal ascension?” Qin Fei’s hope shattered. Achieving such a feat was near impossible in their world, especially after the great war that sealed the demons in the Abyss. No one had reached the Heavenly Immortal Realm since, and it had become nothing more than a legend.

Song Ming added, “There’s also a simpler method. If you can obtain a Nirvana Pill, it would regenerate your body and restore everything to its original state.”

“A Nirvana Pill?” Qin Fei’s eyes lit up.

“But it’s a legendary pill,” Song Ming said with a shake of his head. “Even the Heavenly Medicine Sect doesn’t have the complete formula. Well, I’ve done all I can here. Farewell.”

With that, Song Ming hoisted his bag and disappeared into the crowd, leaving Qin Fei and the others in stunned silence.

“Senior Brother, isn’t the Nirvana Pill just a myth?” Jiang Ting asked hesitantly.

“It’s no myth,” Xiao Yang replied with a cold smile. “But even if one exists, it’s so rare that finding it would be a miracle. Junior Brother, you’d better accept reality and live as a eunuch. Trust me, the sooner you let go, the easier it’ll be.”

“You…” Qin Fei was furious, but his anger only served to fuel Xiao Yang’s amusement.

With a final jab, Xiao Yang added, “By the way, Jiang Ting, didn’t you claim your relationship with Junior Brother was pure? Well, now it can be. Nothing says pure like sisterhood!”

Unable to contain himself, Xiao Yang burst into laughter, his mirth echoing through the cavern as he gestured for Lin Wangchuan and Song Qiang to follow him. “Let’s go,” he called, leaving the group behind.

“Senior Brother!” Jiang Ting shouted, her voice shaking with both anger and disbelief.

“Relax,” Xiao Yang replied dismissively. “Didn’t you see? Lei Renjie and the others have already returned. She’ll be fine.”

Just as they left, Xiao Yang spotted a figure darting ahead. “Take these bags back,” he told Lin Wangchuan, handing over his storage bag. Without waiting for a reply, he mounted his sword and sped after the figure.

“Senior Brother!” Lin Wangchuan and Song Qiang called out, but Xiao Yang was already out of sight, leaving them to navigate their way back.

Meanwhile, Xiao Yang quickly caught up to the fleeing figure. A battered and bloodied Gui Yijian turned to face him, his hair disheveled and his expression wild.

“Xiao Yang,” Gui Yijian spat, his voice filled with venom.

“Surprised to see me?” Xiao Yang smirked, slowly advancing. “Didn’t think you’d meet your end like this, did you?”
