After Being Rejected by Senior Sisters, My Demoness Master Actually Gave Herself to Me

Chapter 69: Is This How You Treat Guests?

Chapter 69: Is This How You Treat Guests?

Returning to his quarters, Ye Shu immediately collapsed into bed. To his surprise, he slept for three days and nights straight, leaving only two days before the Disciple Grand Competition.

These two days, he planned to spend resting and recuperating.

The near-ten-day ordeal in the Slaughter Tower had left him utterly drained.

Especially that battle against the ghost general on the sixth floor—had it not been for his many tricks and the innate suppression of his Creation Art, he truly might have died there.

After absorbing the ghost general, he had successfully broken through to the Nascent Soul stage.

Now, his goal was to stabilize his realm and perform well in the upcoming competition.

He didn’t necessarily aim for first place, but at the very least, he wanted to make Luo Jiuyan proud.

As he pondered, a voice suddenly called out to him—

Ah, right.

He still had that scheming Succubus Demon inside him.

Bored, he opened communication with her.

“Husband~ Can’t you let me out? It’s so boring in here, this servant is about to suffocate~”

Her voice was soft and seductive, enough to make anyone’s imagination run wild.

“Let you out?” Ye Shu frowned. That didn’t sound like a good idea.

This thing was lecherous to the core—the moment she was free, she’d be all over him, draining his yang energy without mercy!

Besides, if he let her out, she’d need a physical vessel to inhabit.

This wasn’t like the Slaughter Tower, where yin energy was abundant. In the outside world, ordinary spirits would be scorched by the sun’s yang energy—hardly ideal.

“Husband~ This servant has Nascent Soul-level strength! If you release me, I can help you kill people~”

The Succubus Demon pressed on, her tone wheedling.

Ye Shu had been about to refuse outright, but then he hesitated.

He was… tempted.

Cultivation was a lonely path. Walking it alone was freeing, but also fraught with hardship. Having an ally—especially a loyal, Nascent Soul-tier one—would make things much easier.

And this Succubus Demon was 100% devoted to him.

The only concern was whether she’d behave around him.

If the extremely jealous Luo Jiuyan found out, she’d skin him alive.

“Fine. But you have to promise me—no funny business!” Ye Shu growled.

The Succubus Demon immediately agreed, swearing that if she stepped out of line, he could punish her however he liked.

Ye Shu didn’t respond. Instead, he silently left his room.

If he was going to release her, he needed to get her a body.

The simplest solution? Buy a puppet vessel from the sect’s Treasure Pavilion.

That was his destination now.

As he walked, Ye Shu noticed a crowd of young disciples trailing behind him, their eyes filled with admiration and awe.

“The Disciple Grand Competition is in two days. Rumor has it the Demon Prince is participating—do you think it’s true?”

“It must be! My master said the Demon Prince broke through to Nascent Soul at eighteen—something unheard of in our sect’s history!”

“But won’t he be at a disadvantage? Most Nascent Soul cultivators have centuries of experience. The Demon Prince is talented, but he’s still young and inexperienced.”

“Enough talk. The fact that he’s even joining is inspirational!”

Listening to their whispers, Ye Shu arrived at the Treasure Pavilion—only to find a commotion at the entrance.

A blue-robed beauty was angrily confronting a pockmarked man in foreign attire.

Ye Shu recognized the woman immediately—Senior Sister Lan Caidie, looking radiant after her recovery from the Slaughter Tower.

The man, however, wore another sect’s robes—likely an exchange disciple.

“Hah! So this is how the Heavenly Fiend Sect treats its guests?” the pockmarked man sneered. “I wanted to buy the Earth Spirit Puppet, but you refuse to sell? What kind of logic is that?”

Lan Caidie glared. “Wang Man, who do you think you are? You’re from Ghost Mountain Sect, here on exchange, yet you demand discounted prices meant for our own disciples? Are you trying to pick a fight?”

Wang Man scoffed. “What’s wrong with that? You set the price; I pay. That’s how business works!”

“Are you brain-dead?!” Lan Caidie looked ready to slap him. “I told you—this is a discount for Heavenly Fiend disciples! If you want it, pay the original price of 20,000 spirit stones!”

Wang Man turned to his companions—a group of oddly dressed exchange disciples—and raised his voice dramatically.

“Brothers! Is this how the number one demonic sect treats its guests? Selling to their own for 8,000 stones, but charging us 20,000?!”

His words ignited their outrage.

“Exactly! This is blatant discrimination!”

“No wonder the Heavenly Fiend Sect sits atop the demonic sects—they’ve got zero magnanimity!”

“If this is their so-called ‘hospitality’, I dread to think what they’ll do to us next!”

Their voices were loud and mocking, deliberately provoking the Heavenly Fiend disciples.

One might wonder—weren’t they afraid of retaliation?

Of course they were. But they knew the Heavenly Fiend Sect wouldn’t dare kill them.

As exchange students, they represented other major demonic sects. Harming them would tarnish the sect’s reputation—something even Luo Jiuyan wouldn’t risk.

“Bastards! All they do is run their mouths!”

“But it’s hard to deal with them. Rumor has it one of them is at Nascent Soul.”

“Apart from Eldest Senior Sister Nie, Senior Brother Liu, and now Senior Sister Lan, none of our disciples can match them.”

“Senior Sister Lan should just ignore them. They’re here to provoke.”

The Heavenly Fiend disciples seethed but held back. Engaging these troublemakers was a lose-lose situation—winning would only invite more provocations, while losing would damage the sect’s prestige.

Just as tensions peaked, a calm voice cut through the noise.

“Oh? You want to see our ‘hospitality’?”

The crowd turned as one—

A white-robed figure flashed forward, kicking Wang Man with such force that he slammed into the pavilion wall like a ragdoll.

Ye Shu stood over him, his gaze icy.

“This is the Heavenly Fiend Sect’s hospitality.”
