After the fight, Koushirou agreed to go talk and eat with Vlad. In the process, the two got to know each other better, as if they had never fought before.

Vlad spent almost half an hour trying to convince Koushirou to join his crew, but Koushirou just wasn't interested.

Koushirou had his own plans, which were to marry someone and have a dojo to support his family's swordsmanship.

Koushirou came to the island to check if it was a good island to stay and live on, he already had his plans to get better, he had even started a romance with a woman from another island and planned to marry her in the future.

After Vlad was rejected for the umpteenth time, he gave up.

"Alright, I give up, I'll leave you alone"

Vlad spoke while sighing in Koushirou's eyes.

Koushirou, who had his eyes half-closed, laughed a little, but nodded in thanks.

"You're a nice guy for a pirate." Koushirou said this because he really ended up liking Vlad in the end.

"Well, while I do have a high bounty, it's only because of my strength and because I foiled some plans of the world government"

Vlad said as he took out a lollypop from his pocket which he offered to Koushirou, "Here, I only share my sweets with people I like like you"

Koushirou smiled and accepted.

In another part of the island, the other members of the transcendent pirates had gathered because they had already finished their business.

"Oh, how strange, the captain hasn't arrived yet." Brook saw that everyone was there except Vlad.

"Leave it to me." Enel activated his observation haki that encompassed the entire village.

Although Enel couldn't encompass an entire island like Vlad, he was still able to encompass a small village like this one.

After a few minutes, Enel found Vlad's traces and listened to him.

"He seems to be trying to recruit a guy" Enel said as he looked at the others.

"Well, let's go see who it is, he must be someone interesting for the captain to invite him" 

After the others heard Vincent's words they nodded and headed together to the bar where Vlad was.

"Wait, there are people following us"

Enel noticed several people hiding previously when he activated his observation haki.

The others were startled and looked around.

After a while, several white suits emerged from the alleys, among them, Dragon and Kuzan led from the front.

"We were hoping they would take us to their captain so we could catch them all together, but it seems there will be a change of plans,"

Dragon said as Enel and the others were slowly surrounded.

"It seems you have Observation Haki, you're shorter than I thought, little Thor."

Kuzan, who also showed himself, looked directly at Enel.

Enel became angry at the way the marine looked at him, feeling that the other party was underestimating him.

"The captain said that there would be no problem in defeating the people of the East Blue, let's finish this quickly."

Vincent said as his fists became engulfed in flames and his head became a lamp with raging flames.

Brook also drew his sword, ready to slash.

Enel was also on guard, with Kuro above him flying in the air, cautiously watching the enemy.

"Kuzan your ability should help us finish this quickly, can you?"

Dragon looked at Kuzan as he spoke.

Kuzan only responded with a freezing breath and suddenly the entire ground beneath Vincent and the others' feet began to freeze.

"What the hell??"

Vincent watched as his feet, Brook's and even Enel's began to have a layer of ice, trapping them on the ground.

The amount of ice did not stop rising up everyone's bodies, only a few seconds passed before the ice reached their waists.

The only one who was not affected was Kuro because he was in the air flying, but this did not stop him from getting scared.

Enel was the first to break free by transforming his body into a bolt of lightning that flew upwards.

"Shit!" Vincent melted the ice on his feet and waist with his fire.

Brook meanwhile, could not do anything because he could not avoid the ice or melt it.

Kuzan raised his eyebrows as he watched Vincent melt his ice, but as he was about to refreeze them, a blue flash shot towards his place.

With his observation haki, Kuzan was able to dodge the lightning that arrived at an alarming speed.

Enel, who had already rushed towards Kuzan, kicked him in the head but the kick only went through Kuzan's body.

"Logia??" Enel was shocked and cursed his bad luck but it was too late to back out.

A fist wrapped in Haki made his nose bleed as he was thrown backwards.

"He's Logia and he can use Haki! This is bad!" Vincent began to sweat coldly as he watched Kuzan easily take care of Enel.

Enel, who stood up again, had a furious face and shouted: "1 million volts!!" 

Kuzan laughed and extended his hand as a large amount of ice formed to collide with the lightning.

Upon collision, a loud rumble rang out.

"Kuro, go north to an inn with food! Tell my brother!!" Enel took advantage of the chaos to shout at Kuro.

Kuro had a frightened look on his face but he still kept a cool head and nodded, heading north of the village. 

What he didn't notice was that a figure was following him closely...

Vincent, who had already helped Brook unfreeze, stood next to Enel.

"Enel, let's fight this guy together. My flames will be useful against the ice." Vincent prepared to fight as he watched the relaxed Kuzan.

"Okay." Enel nodded upon hearing him.

"I'll take care of the soldiers with guns." Brook turned around to point his sword at the other soldiers in the distance.

Kuzan watched all this and laughed.

"You don't stand a chance against me." Kuzan exhaled another icy breath as he moved at high speed across the ice.

Vincent and Enel both launched beams and flames towards their direction. While Brook on the other side already started to fight under a large amount of gunfire and swords.
