All-Class Transmigration: The Strongest Summoner

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Abyss Summoner, SSS Rank!

The cave was large but empty, with the only item being a roasting spit over a campfire, and on top of it, a golden roasted piece of meat the size of an adult's palm.

As for where the spit came from, where the meat came from, and why the wolf-like creatures guarded the meat without eating it, that's anyone's guess. We can't say, and we definitely can't ask; it's just how the game is set up, and after the integration with reality, it has stayed the same.

Su Mu walked over, and the attributes of the roasted meat appeared before his eyes.

[Name: Golden Roasted Meat]

[Category: Item (Food)]

[Rarity: Rare]

[Attributes: Eating this item randomly increases one to one hundred attribute points and has a certain chance of advancing the user's profession by one level (Only effective for those with S-Rank or lower professions).]

Such powerful attributes; it's no wonder that two BOSS-level creatures were guarding this treasure.

The ability to potentially advance a profession is enough to tempt countless people, and has led to bloody chaos in the past.

Even though the effect of the Golden Roasted Meat only has a chance of working, not a guaranteed success, countless low-ranking players still covet this meat, hoping for that one opportunity to upgrade their profession and change their fate.

Su Mu recalled some of the memories from past hunting trials. While it wasn't uncommon for players to obtain Golden Roasted Meat and bring it out of the beginner's dungeon, all of them had led to countless battles, sparking a great deal of conflict. In the history of Cloud City, there had even been a significant upheaval caused by these events.

"Though, this roasted meat is useless to me! And if I'm unlucky, it might just end up being a joke," Su Mu muttered, eyeing the Golden Roasted Meat with disdain, before casually tossing it into his storage space as if throwing away trash.

If anyone saw this, they'd probably want to punch Su Mu in the face. "You don't want it? Then give it to us!"

But Su Mu just shrugged, "I've got hacks. I can afford to be cocky. Deal with it!"

Once the meat was stored away, the long-awaited system prompt sounded in his mind.

[Congratulations, Player Su Mu has completed the Beginner Dungeon task. The S-Rank profession Abyss Summoner has been upgraded to SSS-Rank. The growth focus has been changed to Strength and Spirit. [Spirit: 130] (Same as above)

[Free Attribute Points: 90] (Level 6 × 15 = 90)

[Equipment: Hero's Badge, Hero's Necklace (Attributes minor)]

Damn! This is amazing!

After advancing to SSS-Rank, Su Mu's attributes didn't just increase dramatically; his innate skills also became two.

This was something completely unheard of. Su Mu had never encountered such a situation in all his ten years of gaming experience.

In the world of Myriad Races, there were all kinds of professions, each with different skills. But no matter what profession, innate skills were always the most important.

One's future development, skills, and career path were all shaped by their innate skills.

Having two innate skills meant Su Mu now had two different paths to take, expanding his future from a small, narrow path to a wide and glorious road.

Su Mu was momentarily overwhelmed with joy, feeling almost dizzy from the excitement. Everything seemed surreal.

Focusing back on the second innate skill, his breath quickened again.

Killing Contract allowed him to turn any creature he killed into a soul pet. It might seem similar to Abyss Summon at first glance.

After all, Su Mu could summon Abyssal creatures as well, but with Killing Contract, he could decide what creatures to kill, and after slaying them, he could enslave their bodies and spirits.

If Su Mu were a complete newbie, he might've mistaken the two skills for being the same, but having reached the pinnacle of the Abyss Summoner profession in the past, Su Mu knew how much more powerful this skill was.

While Abyss Summon could indeed summon creatures from the Abyss, it had a significant flaw: randomness.

Su Mu could summon, but he couldn't control what came out. Sometimes, with a wave of the staff, he could summon a terrifying Abyssal Dragon capable of destroying everything in its path, but other times, he might end up with nothing more than a fragile skeleton soldier. Everything depended on luck.

Su Mu had experienced this countless times, and it frustrated him immensely.

And as his level increased, this flaw became even more significant. Higher-level creatures had stronger intelligence and stronger independent will. They resisted Su Mu's summons and were reluctant to become his summoned creatures.

By the time Su Mu had reached level 80 or 90 in his previous life, he found this flaw unbearable. He had never once summoned a creature above level 80 and had to rely on other methods to level up, which was time-consuming and frustrating.

But Killing Contract was different. With it, Su Mu had full control.

He could choose exactly which creatures to kill and then make them his loyal soul pets.

With this skill, Su Mu could farm dungeons, kill BOSSes, and recruit any creatures he wanted.

He could even pick his favorite soul pets—whether it be a fiery hellish girl, a seductive nine-tailed fox, an icy-cold beauty like the Snow Maiden, or a pure and untouchable celestial being.

Imagine walking the game world with these stunningly beautiful soul pets while letting a bunch of Abyssal minions do all the fighting and grinding for you. How could life get any better?

Su Mu couldn't help but narrow his eyes, already imagining his glorious future.

[Ding! Player Su Mu has completed the Beginner Dungeon task and received a special reward—Book of Inheritance!]

The system prompt echoed, pulling Su Mu out of his reverie. He quickly wiped away the drool from the corner of his mouth and, with an attempt to maintain his image, focused on the system reward.

As the prompt sounded, a glowing wooden box appeared out of nowhere before him.
