The overwhelming Spiritual Pressure spread out uncontrollably.

The hidden Parasites revealed cautious expressions. The unbridled Cursed Energy felt like being watched by a bottomless abyss. The Evil Spirits that had entered Sōbu High immediately retreated upon sensing the presence.

At the classroom doorway, Mafuyu's face turned blank and pale.

Yotsuba came to her senses and anxiously scanned the classroom. The strand of Yin-Yang Spiritual Power merged back into her body and vanished.

The Parasite's attack had failed to consume this strand of power in one attempt.

'Is this... Spiritual Power? It's even more effective than shrine charms.'

'This strand of Spiritual Power is like having multiple lives! A second, third, fourth, fifth... As long as the Spiritual Power remains, Yotsuba is safe.'

Utaha and Saki watched in awe.

Utaha was a successful light novelist whose books had made her wealthy. Saki worked late shifts, making her vulnerable to Evil Spirit encounters on her way home. She worried not just for herself but for her sister. What if she brought Evil Spirits home?

Unfortunately, Daiki could only refine a limited amount of Spiritual Power. Even someone as capable as Ginko couldn't qualify to purchase any.

Neither of them was close to him either.

Regret bloomed in Utaha's heart.

If she had known about Evil Spirits and these creatures earlier, she would have tried harder to befriend Daiki when they met on the rooftop.

Now she could only watch others with envy.

Her beautiful eyes swept over Yotsuba and Miku at the door. Those two had incredible luck.

No one at Sōbu High could match Daiki, and Miku had claimed him first.

Utaha felt frustrated, thinking how she'd written countless love stories but had never even held a boy's hand.

"Yotsuba, get up." Miku helped her weak-kneed sister to a clean spot.

Yumiko emerged from her corner hiding place. After two steps, she stepped on a severed hand and immediately darted toward Yotsuba's group.

Mafuyu, now alert, hurried to comfort the traumatized girl.

"Daiki-kun... is this a monster?" She asked hesitantly, speaking as the concerned homeroom teacher she was.

"A Parasite — a peculiar species that inhabits human brains. They have superhuman abilities, but they're not particularly strong." Daiki said casually, shaking his hand.

Yumiko, Saki, and the others stared in shocked fear. This monster had nearly slaughtered their entire class and could have caused an even worse disaster.

Yet in his eyes, it wasn't even considered strong...

When they saw the Parasite's body vertically sliced into six pieces on the ground, they realized Daiki wasn't lying.

For him, a creature that could be killed with just a wave of his hand truly wasn't formidable.

Ring Ring Ring!

Mafuyu's phone suddenly rang.

[Teacher Kirisu? Are you all alright? Hold on! The Public Safety Devil Hunter Division has entered the school building, just hold on a little longer.]

"Teacher Hiratsuka, we're fine — everything's mostly taken care of here." Mafuyu replied after a brief pause.

[Huh? Taken care of?]

Shizuka Hiratsuka sounded bewildered over the phone.

Before the conversation could end, hurried footsteps approached.

"Don't move, hands up!"

"Where's the monster?"

The Public Safety Devil Hunter Division members arrived immediately.

Miku and the others raised their hands slightly, showing they meant no harm.

The Devil Hunter Division members focused their attention on Daiki.

"Y—"

"Shut up!"

Just as one member was about to raise his gun and shout, the captain with mechanical arms stopped him.

This captain had encountered Daiki before. He had lost his last arm while hunting the Ghost Devil, but now sported two mechanical replacements and still maintained his post.

{T/N: For those who might have forgotten, he used his last arm in a contract to summon a Hellhound Devil, which was instantly killed by the Ghost Devil. After that, the MC appeared and saved everyone.}

The moment his gaze fell upon Daiki, he recognized him.

That Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer who could deploy Domains!

According to the Public Safety Devil Hunter Division's intelligence channels, he had single-handedly destroyed the Matsushita Group and Zombie Devil. He had been classified as a High-Risk Sorcerer by the upper echelons of the Devil Hunter Division.

This monster attack had likely been handled by him.

"Thank you for your assistance, Sorcerer-san! May we proceed with the cleanup?" The mechanical-armed captain's gentle tone shocked the Devil Hunter Division members.

Who knew their usually hot-tempered captain could be this gentle.

"Go ahead." Daiki waved his hand and walked out of the classroom.

Miku, Mafuyu, and the others followed close behind.

In the corridor, they saw several captured Parasites — not an overwhelming number, but certainly not few.

Fumino and Rizu stayed close to the group, still shaken by the horrific bloody scene they'd witnessed.

"Yotsuba, there are ambulances from Nakano Hospital at the injury site. Let's take your classmates for a checkup."

Miku spoke while checking messages from Nino and the others on her phone.

Seeing Yumiko's pale face, Yotsuba readily agreed.

"Daiki-kun, come with us!" Miku grabbed his arm, her voice gentle.

Her small face showed signs of exhaustion and pallor.

"Alright, let's go."

After such a major incident, resuming classes seemed unlikely.

As they approached the Nakano Hospital ambulance, Daiki noticed two beautiful older women standing beside Nino.

"Kido-sensei! Hiratsuka-sensei!" Miku greeted the infirmary teachers.

"Miku-san, the hospital is short-staffed, so we teachers will need to ride with your family. We can perform checkups on the way."

Mrs. Kido adjusted her glasses, noting how Miku and the others had emerged unscathed.

They had remained in the school building throughout the incident, yet suffered no injuries — even though the monster attack had begun in Yotsuba's class.

Her gaze drifted to Daiki, but before she could speak, Nino rushed forward.

"Daiki-kun, are you hurt?"

Her delicate hands roamed over his body, nearly reaching for an inappropriate area.

Miku quickly pulled Daiki away, giving Nino a puzzled look.

Your own sister is standing right here, but you're more concerned about her boyfriend? Something's not quite right about that.

"Miku, I'm so glad you're okay." Nino said hastily, trying to cover her mistake.

If she had said this earlier, Miku would have been touched. Now she could only suspect her sister's motives.

"Enough talk, let's go." Shizuka called out, raising her arm.

They all crowded into the ambulance, which had originally come just for Itsuki and was otherwise empty.

Being the only male in the ambulance made Daiki feel somewhat awkward.

The situation quickly changed at Nakano Hospital.

Mrs. Kido and Shizuka examined the Nakano quintuplets, Fumino, and the others who were mentally exhausted from their ordeal.

Though physically unharmed by the Parasites, they were advised to stay overnight for mental health monitoring.

Under observation, Utaha succumbed to her exhaustion and fell asleep. Even Miku, still shaken from the trauma, drifted off.

Watching her sleeping sisters, Ichika felt a wave of relief. Had Daiki not given them protective charms during lunch break, she dreaded to imagine what tragedy might have unfolded.

She realized now just how precious — and scarce — this Spiritual Power truly was.

Due to the hospital being at capacity, Maruo Nakano, the quintuplets' stepfather, couldn't visit personally but arranged private rooms for Miku and the others.

Fumino and the rest gratefully accepted the accommodation, informing their families of their safety.

Only Saki hesitated to stay, worried about her sister at home. The situation finally resolved when Itsuki offered to personally pick up her sister.

In a quiet moment amidst the chaos, Nino's mind wandered to mischievous thoughts.
