Camille arrived in Bilgewater just before sunrise.

Thanks to the Hextech Gates, most of the travel time was saved.

However, due to Bilgewater's unpredictable weather, Camille's airship had to slow down, eventually arriving just before dawn.

By the time Link Star reached the airship dock and boarded, Camille had just finished her breakfast and was brewing tea.

As soon as Link stepped inside, the rich aroma of tea filled his senses.

Camille loved the red tea from Ionia, known for its calming and soothing properties.

On the table in front of Camille's sofa, a steaming breakfast was still laid out.

Seeing this, Link couldn't help but sigh and sit down across from her. Picking up his fork and knife, he said, "I thought you'd be holding down the fort in Piltover for me."

"Hardworking children always deserve a little extra favor," Camille replied, shifting her gaze from the distant seaside to Link.

The breakfast she had prepared for him was quintessentially Piltover-style: hot tea, crispy baked rolls, and an egg.

Although Link had already consumed his homemade nutrient solution before coming, eating a bit more wouldn't hurt.

As he carefully peeled the egg, Link spoke without looking up, "If you leave Piltover, I won't feel entirely at ease."

"Ferros agents are born to serve the family. I'm just picking up my old duties again."

"Hah, if you say that, Daciana might cry."

Link stuffed the egg into his mouth, chewing and swallowing it whole.

"That girl is different from you. She still needs more training."

"Alright, but there's not much to do in Bilgewater right now. Even if you're here, it's mostly just sightseeing."

"It seems you already have a well-thought-out plan." Camille's eyes sparkled with curiosity. Link nodded, "I had Pride deliver the [Bluebird Guild] proposal to Daciana. She must have reported it to you, right?"

"Combining deities and guilds, using the deities' powers to protect and support the guild while the guild gathers faith and followers for the deities." Camille's tone carried a hint of amazement. "I was quite shocked when I first saw this plan."

"The [Bluebird Guild] plan is a grand scheme for me." Link tore the bread into pieces and dropped them into the tea. "We'll start with a pilot in Piltover, gather accurate operational data and processes, and then replicate it in other regions."

"Bilgewater is the city I plan to use for replication." Link glanced out the window. "This city has immense potential."

"So, I plan to set up a rough organizational structure for the future Bluebird Guild branch in Bilgewater."

"But the prerequisite is that you can safely survive the Harrowing." Camille tapped the table lightly. Link nodded slightly, "You're right."

"That's also why I'm here." Camille picked up the teapot and poured tea for herself and Link. "Dear, I believe in your abilities and your talent, but this time you only brought thirty agents, one chemtech monster, and... well."

Camille let out a soft scoff, shaking her head. Link, however, corrected her, "Jinx is a remarkable girl. It's just that her talents haven't been channeled in the right direction yet."

"With a little guidance, she'll shine in a way that will astonish everyone."

"It seems you have a lot of faith in her." Camille set down her teacup, crossing her legs and leaning back with a doting smile.

"I just have confidence in my own judgment." Link scooped up the tea-soaked bread crumbs and shoved them into his mouth, swallowing them whole.

"Perhaps, as you say, Jinx has a bright future. But her figure is too slender. She might not be the best choice for bearing children."

"Pfft—cough, cough—" Link's tea sloshed in his bowl, spilling over and leaving traces at the corners of his mouth.

"Cough, cough... What are you talking about?" Link set down his bowl, and Camille handed him a handkerchief with a smile. "Dear, you're not getting any younger."

"I still have some time before I turn eighteen." Link took the handkerchief, wiping his mouth and then his hands.

"But at your age, most male members of the Ferros family already had one lover and several mistresses."

Camille didn't shy away from such topics. Though she appeared to be in her mid-twenties, her true age was close to ninety.

The Hextech crystal heart in her chest not only granted her immense power but also eternal youth, preventing her from aging.

"But—" Link's mouth twitched slightly. Camille spoke softly, "I know your ambitions are grand, but for a man, there's more to conquer than just the world. There are also women."

"I thought you'd want me to be tied to Daciana." Link picked up his teacup, sipping quietly.

"As my descendant, I do hope you and Daciana can come together and produce exceptional heirs to inherit the Ferros legacy." Camille spoke bluntly. "But that would be too unfair to you, dear."

"Your talent, brilliance, and abilities are beyond the reach of ordinary people, and even geniuses can hardly compare."

"Honestly, Daciana isn't worthy of someone as exceptional as you." Camille shook her head, sighing softly. It was unclear whether she was sighing for Daciana or the Ferros family's lack of worthy successors.

Link was well aware of the dwindling numbers of the Ferros family's main bloodline.

Camille had never married, dedicating her life to the family.

As for Stevan, most of his descendants had sacrificed themselves in the family's expansion efforts, leaving only Daciana as his heir.

No matter how many children the branch families had, they couldn't inherit the family head position or lead the family to greater prosperity.

So, after joining the Ferros family, Link had prepared himself to marry Daciana and continue the Ferros bloodline.

But he never expected Camille to favor him so much—so much that it made him feel like Daciana was the adopted one.

"If it weren't for the Ferros blood running through her veins, she wouldn't even be qualified to manage your affairs." Camille straightened her posture, leaning slightly forward to stroke Link's cheek. "Though you're my adopted son, to me, you're the one most suited to inherit my will and lead the Ferros family forward."

Link turned his head away, uncomfortable with the gesture. Seeing this, Camille withdrew her hand and said, "So, go find more women, Link."

"Just leave a spot for Daciana, so she can bear your children."

"And you, you deserve more."

"Find more lovers, more mistresses, and have plenty of children. This is a good choice for you, for me, and for the Ferros family."

"Whether they're from the Twin Cities, Bilgewater, Demacia, Noxus, Shurima, Ionia, or even Ixtal, it doesn't matter."

"Cough, cough!" Link stood up, straightening his lab coat. "Well—"

"I have things to do. Don't worry about me. Enjoy the local culture here or scold the agents or something."

"I'll take my leave now."

Link fled the room as if escaping. Camille watched his retreating figure and called out, "That girl named Sarah isn't bad either. You should give her a try."

Link stumbled slightly but didn't look back as he hurried out.

Camille looked at the closed door, shaking her head with a smile. "Such a shy little thing. Adorable."
