Returning to Piltover, the most urgent task at hand is to quickly upgrade the mechanical creations that are currently lagging behind the new technology level, especially the Project Genesis: Infinite Battle Armor.

Although Li Lin's physical fitness could be called a "little Superman," making him almost invincible among humans, as long as he's not facing gods or mages wielding supernatural powers, there is still a significant gap compared to the Kryptonians who came to Earth. Under the yellow sun, they gain an extraordinary physical enhancement, far surpassing even the effects of the Infinite Battle Armor.

Physical enhancement is merely supplementary; as an engineer, he must still rely primarily on mechanical creations.

After organizing the materials he needed, Li Lin decided to begin by upgrading his Infinite Armor.

The core material for the sixth-generation nano battle armor was star iron, which Zoe had found in the stars, paired with a crystalline armor coating made from condensed primordial crystals obtained through the system exchange. This gave the armor formidable defensive capabilities.

However, with the introduction of zero-element composite metal materials, if he were to compare star iron and this new material, Li Lin would say that both have their pros and cons.

Zero-element composite material is tougher and can be applied in all fields, even withstanding the high-pressure environment required for nuclear fusion reactions.

Star iron, although not as tough, is an excellent energy conductor, allowing the armor to efficiently transmit energy with almost no loss, greatly improving the energy core's utilization efficiency.

Li Lin pondered carefully and had the AI help calculate and compare the data differences.

After much thought, he decided to abandon the crystalline armor coating made from primordial crystals and instead use zero-element nano metal as the primary material for the new generation of the Infinite Armor, with star iron as the armor coating on the surface.

This way, not only would the armor's energy conductivity remain largely unchanged, but its defensive capabilities would also be greatly enhanced.

For example, in an area occupied by enemies with civilians present, sending drones for indoor combat could result in heavy casualties and potentially harm the innocent.

But the quantum bomb is different. Li Lin can release the missile in the enemy's area with pinpoint accuracy. When it explodes, its firepower will only target the intended destruction and won't harm the surrounding area.

In short, the quantum bomb has immense power, but it only affects enemies, much like having the "no crossfire" feature in a game.

With all the materials prepared, almost everything needs to be replaced, and Li Lin is ready to craft a completely new set of armor.

He uploaded his envisioned design to the AI terminal, and within less than an hour, he had crafted the seventh-generation battle armor. He then spent another two hours applying runic enchantments to it.

With the battle armor completed, the next step is to enchant it using the system's new [Equipment Enchantment] feature.

The epic-quality armor has four enchantment slots, with the first enchantment requiring 500 orange essence, the second 1000, and the third and fourth requiring 2000 and 4000 respectively. Each successive enchantment requires double the previous amount.

According to the system's description, once the armor is enchanted and linked to the control of large mechs, the enchantment effects can be shared, which excites Li Lin greatly.

He has already decided which two pieces of equipment to enchant: [Banshee's Veil] and [Duskblade of Draktharr] are essential.

One of these items is of epic quality, while the other is of artifact quality. Although Draktharr's Duskblade doesn't match the Banshee's Veil in quality, Li Lin highly values its ability to trigger a "fatal strike" to kill the target, allowing it to temporarily cloak and ignore unit size collisions and immune physical attacks.

The "fatal strike" ability can only be triggered with this blade, but if its properties are enchanted into the Infinite Battle Armor, it would be like the armor itself is the "blade," meaning any lethal strike with the armor would trigger this ability.

As for the other two slots, Li Lin has three choices: "Cosmic Drive," "Void Staff," and "Guardian Angel."

Although he still possesses the Ascension Amulet prototype and the Bluebird Pendant gifted by survivors of the Zaun explosion incident, which was enchanted with protective magic by Janna, these two items aren't suitable for enchanting into the armor as they would only waste equipment slots and attributes.

Since the armor doesn't lack energy, offensive means, or defense, and the equipment slots are limited, even though he has more than 86,000 blue essence to spare, only a few pieces of equipment would be truly useful.

Cosmic Drive, an epic-quality item priced at 6000 blue essence, is a helmet made from star iron, inheriting heavenly magic.

It grants the wearer "Insight" and "Speed," and when in combat, it can trigger the "Spell Dance" buff for a beneficial effect.

In short, the abilities of this equipment don't match its attributes, especially the "Insight" ability, which allows you to detect a specific location within a 10-kilometer radius for one minute with a one-minute cooldown. This is completely useless.

Li Lin himself can deploy nano-drones or fly up to the sky for the AI to perform a scan, which doesn't require a cooldown and is much faster and more convenient. 

The only notable effect is the 10% movement speed boost in normal conditions, which increases to 20% during combat, but compared to Janna's blessing, which boosts agility and neural response speed, this is far less impressive.

The reason Li Lin considered this equipment was solely because it could reduce the cooldown of other skills by 30%, which would help enhance the "Force Field Shield" of his armor. 

Even after upgrading, the infinite armor's Force Field Shield still has a five-minute cooldown and lasts for only a minute. 

However, with the cooldown reduction from the Cosmic Drive passive, the Force Field Shield's cooldown is reduced to three and a half minutes, meaning it would be available every two and a half minutes, offering a "God Mode" effect and significantly boosting his survival capabilities.

Aside from this must-have equipment, Li Lin was conflicted between the Void Staff and the Guardian Angel.

Though the Void Staff's name includes "Void," aside from its deep purple color that vaguely resembles the Void, its other attributes have no connection to the Void at all.

It only has the quality of a Legendary item, offering 2000 mana and 60% magic power. Its only passive effect is 75% magic penetration, which also applies to energy. 

With this attribute, Li Lin can ignore a significant portion of the defense and magic resistance of powerful mages, as well as gods, demigods, and ancient gods, thus dealing higher damage with his armor.

On the other hand, the Guardian Angel, also a Legendary item, has impressive abilities.

Aside from its base attributes, it allows the wearer to enter a "Time Freeze" state when near death, lasting up to one minute. Then, depending on the wearer's wishes, they can quickly restore their state to any point within the last day, removing all negative effects until the end of the battle—effectively a "resurrection" item.

However, like the "Eleisa's Miracle" given to Caitlyn, this equipment can only be used once, after which it becomes useless, essentially wasting one equipment slot.

After careful consideration, Li Lin decided to go with the Void Staff, choosing its magic penetration over the Guardian Angel.

The banshee's veil already provides decent magic resistance, and as long as his accumulated magic shields aren't broken, it grants immunity to mental control effects. 

With the "Anti-Demon Device" design in hand, but not yet developed, there's no longer a need to worry about magic resistance or mental control. 

The Draktharr Blade, when it kills a target, provides an invisibility effect that grants immunity to physical attacks. Combined with the nano-alloy armor made of Zero-Synth material and Star Iron, his physical resistance is nearly maxed out.

Now, as long as Li Lin wears the seventh-generation infinite armor, it's like becoming a tank—no one under a demigod can break through his defenses, and he doesn't lack defensive means.

Upon comprehensive consideration, his offense was somewhat lacking. The Material Disintegration Ray can break down matter, but it has limited effect on magic barriers, basically just powerful and overwhelming. 

Similarly, the Charged Arc Laser and the Focused Particle Spear are energy-based beams but not particularly effective either. 

Except for the Nano Quantum Bomb, the Nano Armor lacks kinetic weaponry, so energy penetration is crucial for Li Lin.

After deciding which equipment to purchase, Li Lin's wealth bar suddenly dropped by 8700 Blue Essence.

Shortly after, two items appeared in his hands. One was a helmet that was entirely silver-white, with two sharp horns curving upward, and a golden gem glowing on its forehead. The other was a staff with a wooden body and a metallic circular top, embedded with a purple spherical gem.

With a light touch of his hands, both items instantly transformed into orange particles and fused into the armor.

After spending 1500 orange essence to enchant two other pieces, the seventh-generation Infinite Armor was essentially complete.

Li Lin was satisfied as he examined the new abilities and attributes of the armor. He placed one hand on the desk and the other on the newly enhanced armor.

Nano-machines quickly moved along his arms, seamlessly replacing his old armor with the new one, almost without any delay.

"The sixth-generation armor can be stored now," Li Lin thought, although it wasn't the one that had accompanied him the longest, it was still worth keeping as a memento.

He couldn't help but smile wryly as he recalled the previous suit of armor that Zoe had accidentally turned into crystal dust.

"This time, Zoe has really been gone for a long time."
