Ascension of the Monster Queen

A little while after disappearing, they appeared in a fancy city, where Nessa smiled upon seeing the surroundings there, it was nice and there were many different types of creatures walking around, but there were also demons in disguise among the crowds and not a single human.

She looked around and her eyes narrowed as her eyes landed on a fancy castle at the edge of the land and the energy that was coming from it, made her realize it was the home of a demon lord and the demon glanced at her, wondering what was going on in her head.

"Are you not in the slightest bit afraid of what could happen to you?" He asked and she glanced t him, noticing that some of the beings there avoided each other and she smiled.

"No, I am not, is that such a bad thing?" She asked as she looked at him and his eyes narrowed.

'I have no idea how to answer that but so far, I think she needs to be this way in order to protect what she has created and this is a fight that will only end if she ends it, what bothers me is how much this guy she saw in her image is connected to her and how much he has to do with all of this?' He wondered.

"No, it's not a bad thing, in fact you may need it in the future who knows," He responded to her and she chuckled as she walked around the city.

"The demon lord who runs this place, is not currently here, I can sense it, tell me, how do you plan on getting more information?" She asked him as she looked at him.

"Demons as well as other creatures under their rule will take for the right price, who knows maybe even the demon lord themselves," He responded with a smirk and a dangerous glimmer in his eyes and Nessa's eyes narrowed as she looked at him.

"You like playing with fire, don't you?" She asked and he chuckled then shrugged.

"Who knows, maybe it's my way of hiding something else," He responded as she looked at him.

"You have a lot of secrets for a demon and I promise that I will find out them all, after all, I know you have many more reasons for approaching me than the ones you gave and I can tell you are no ordinary demon, you are stronger than you look," Nessa said to him and he left staring at her.

'Nothing passes her, is she always focused on the ones around her?

Though can't really blame her for being cautious almost at all times, after all, she entered a game where the demon lords are the kings and she is the rising star with possibly the power to topple them and another thing, the one who is in charge of all this corruption, the one she is seeing, maybe h is above them all?' The demon wondered.

"Nessa," He called out when he noticed that she had disappeared from his sight while he was lost in his thoughts and his eyes widened as he looked around him, but the crowd there was a lot.

"Nessa!" He called out as he looked around.

"Nessa!" He called out as he looked around the area but couldn't find her and his eyes began glowing.

At that moment, Nessa was surrounded by demons disguised as in an alleyway and her eyes narrowed as she looked at them and a smirk appeared on her face as she looked at them with her eyes narrowed.

She knew that, they were up to no good and had been following her and the demon ever since they arrived in the city.

Her eyes began glowing as vine-like red substances rose from the ground and lifted them up in the air, trapping them as they growled at her and she smiled.

"Search their memories," Nessa said.

[Memory Invasion, enabled.]

[Access granted.]

Nessa's eyes glowed as she began seeing into their memories, while searching them and one particular memory caught her interest and she smiled as she paid close attention to it.

Just as she was going through their memories, the demon found her and he looked at the situation before his eyes and he approached her, relieved that he found her but wondered what she was doing.

She smiled and her eyes returned to normal and she knocked out the demons with just a flick of her finger then she turned towards the demon she came with.

"Got worried?" She asked him with a grin and he exhaled deeply before passing his hand through his hair.

"Maybe a little?" He responded and she chuckled as she looked at him, then patted him on his shoulder as she walked past him.

"What happened here just now?" He asked as he followed her.

"The demon lord of this nation, knows that they have uninvited guests, as in us, they sensed it the minute we arrived her, so they will seek us out, as for what happened just now, I was merely their target, that's all," She responded as he walked up beside her.

"So, they already know, well that's not exactly a good thing unless you want to meet the demon lord," He said and her eyes narrowed.

"That may not be a bad idea," She responded and he left staring at her with his eyes blinking.

"Huh! Hey... Wait... Are you serious?" He asked and she chuckled as she stopped by a stall to buy a few snacks.

"Who knows..." She responded as she handed him a snack and he collected it and began eating as they walked around, looking for an inn or something else to stay in for the time being.

"You do plan on meeting the demon lord of this place, huh? Yup, that's it, what are you planning this time?" He asked and she glanced at him as she looked at the castle in front of them and smiled.

"Because... It's going to be the start of me making my mark, making my presence known to them, the start of me taking my spot and giving my nation its name among them and a few other things, what better source to get the information we need... I know what I am doing, let's say hello," She said as her eyes glowed brightly, releasing a wave of energy that washed across the demon lord's home.

The demon lord of that nation, who was sitting in their hall, eyes opened immediately when they sensed it and their eyes glowed red as they looked up.
