"Yes, my Lady," Elena said, letting a faint trace of her killing intent seep through her subtle actions. "But, on the other hand, with you standing between him and the Throne, even if he attains the Echo of the Blade, his attempt at usurping will end in destined failure."

Princess Maya's tense expression eased slightly, though she remained humble. "You overestimate me, Elena," she said. "I was simply fortunate enough to be born with a Heaven-ranked Bloodline. In terms of age, cultivation, and experience, I'm still very much inferior to both Nala and Lucidador."

"You say that now," Elena replied, with respect overflowing from her gaze. "But in a decade or two, you will have surely surpassed the two of them. After all, your Bloodline is not just any Heaven-rank Bloodline—it's the Peak-Heaven Rank Monarch Phoenix Bloodline!"

"Your Bloodline has never before been seen within the Elemental Nations," she added. "Only in ancient scrolls and beyond the Elemental Nations has your Bloodline scarcely appeared over the span of the last few tens of thousands of years!"

"That's enough, Elena," Princess Maya said with a resigned sigh. "Now, where does he place among the top geniuses of the Water Kingdom?"

Princess Maya pointed at a relatively handsome hooded man discreetly blending in with a large crowd of cultivators belonging to smaller sects and factions. However, this clarification only deepened Elena's confusion. She tried racking her brain for any information pertaining to the hooded-man her princess had singled out.
