Awakening:The Infinite Evolution of My Talent as a Low-Level Awakener

Chapter 763: Depths of Abyssal Prison!

It was clear that in order to enter the true Abyssal Prison, one would need to pass through this layer of dark mist.

This deep pit was almost a smooth vertical cylinder, meaning that in order to delve deeper, one could only jump down.

Sterl expanded his senses to the fullest, attempting to examine what lay beneath the mist, but the mist had a powerful isolating force, and he couldn't see through it at all.

Not only that, but there was another characteristic of the Eternal Light World—it forbade flight.

This wasn't some sort of sealing ability, but rather a concept: the concept of no flight. To be precise, flight simply did not exist within the Eternal Light World.

Because of this, once one chose to descend into the Abyssal Prison, there would be no turning back.

If beneath this layer of dark mist was a vast extension of the Constant Abyss, that would be a bit troublesome.

After hesitating for a moment, Sterl felt that this possibility was unlikely.

If the Abyssal Prison contained the Constant Abyss, its size and strength would be beyond imagination. In that case, the War Demon would have never managed to escape from it.

Therefore, it was likely that the mist wasn't a trap at all, but simply an environment designed to obscure perception.

Of course, caution was still necessary.

Sterl's thoughts shifted, and a large number of Soul Puppets surged out from his Purgatory Space. At his command, they unhesitatingly jumped into the Abyssal Prison below.

Whoosh...

The Soul Puppets passed through the mist, then vanished from his sight and perception.

Just when Sterl thought they were safe, all the Soul Puppets almost simultaneously collapsed and began to slowly reform in the Purgatory Space.

Seeing this, Sterl's face remained utterly calm, but the aura around him began to churn and boil like a volcano ready to erupt.

"Enough with these tricks. Get lost!"

Muscles rippled across his body like thick mercury, and a surge of raw strength gathered in his hand. Then, with a single punch, he smashed downwards.

This punch was the full strength of his normal state. Even an upper-tier divine authority would be unable to withstand such brutal force.

Boom!!

Where the power passed, the mist exploded instantly, creating a massive cavity with a diameter of several dozen miles.

Then, he threw another punch, striking towards the surrounding Constant Abyss.

The force was enough to tear apart space itself. Even these so-called "indestructible" Constant Abysses shattered into nothingness, like bubbles popping and vanishing without a trace.

Sterl's expression grew colder. He had endured these damnable Constant Abysses for far too long.

Careful, cautious at every step, from the moment he entered the Eternal Light World, he had been thoroughly annoyed by this damned, bizarre environment.

He was here to seize Dream Power, not to solve riddles or go on an adventure.

All these strange things and nightmares? As long as his power was enough, he would smash them all with a single punch!

"Hmph."

Sterl snorted coldly, his mood finally easing somewhat as he looked at the shattered Constant Abyss around him.

However, he could feel that these Constant Abysses hadn't disappeared; they had simply shrunk to an incredibly small scale, and were recovering at a visibly fast rate.

Perhaps in one or two days, they would return to their original form.

The mist at the entrance to the Abyssal Prison was the same. The spot he had shattered was also slowly healing. This didn't mean that brute force had no effect, but simply that the energy within the mist hadn't been completely exhausted yet.

Without hesitation, Sterl surrounded himself with a heavy layer of blood power, and, without even thinking, he leaped into the massive hole.

Passing through the mist, everything around him remained pitch black, and beneath his feet was an unfathomable abyss, as though he had fallen into a bottomless pit.

Furthermore, as he continued to fall, his descent accelerated, as if the world itself were trying to smash him to death.

But, with Sterl's physical strength, whether or not it could kill him was uncertain. However, this world certainly wouldn't be able to withstand his increasing speed.

It was like how tofu couldn't bear the impact of a speeding stone—his body was strong enough to contend with an Ancient Behemoth.

Moreover, with the Fission Law combined with Perfect Regeneration, his body was growing stronger with every passing moment.

Perhaps sensing this, Sterl's falling speed began to stabilize. After continuing his descent for half a day, he finally reached the bottom.

Thud!!

With a deafening, muffled sound, Sterl slowly stood up from a massive pit, his eyes glowing with a red light, emerging from the dust like an awakening demon god.

Sterl looked around. The surroundings were made of hard stone walls. From the feeling during his descent, their hardness seemed to rival that of epic-level armor.

The ground was scattered with many bone fragments—likely the remains of creatures who had unintentionally fallen here.

Unlike Sterl, these beings didn't have such powerful bodies, so being smashed to pieces was inevitable.

Sterl walked forward. Ahead of him, there was only a dim passageway, so dark that he couldn't even see his hand in front of his face. Only the faint blood-colored light from his body illuminated the area around him, casting everything in a pale red hue.

Moreover, looking at the dark passage, Sterl felt a slight sense of threat.

Clearly, as the place that suppressed countless Ultimate Evil Beings, the Abyssal Prison must be hiding all sorts of traps.

Sterl calmly raised his hand and threw a punch!

Boom!!

The space rippled like waves, invisible currents surging forward. The stone walls surrounding the passage seemed to be sliced by an all-powerful, unbreakable laser, and the entire passage was forcibly widened several times!

All the traps and dangers hidden inside were wiped out in an instant, completely rendered useless.

Sterl calmed his blood flow. He had now understood: the Eternal Light World was indeed fraught with danger. Without enough strength, every step here required extreme caution.

Of course, he clearly didn't fall into that category. Compared to slowly dismantling the traps, this straightforward and violent approach suited him much better.

However, this was only possible when possessing absolute power. With a slightly weaker strength, such reckless actions could lead to catastrophic consequences.

He then continued into the passage, with several white light orbs floating around him.

These were Law spheres he had condensed using his Divine Power, based on the Law of Light. They worked quite well as a light source.

At least with the light from the spheres, the area within several hundred meters was illuminated.

The passage was long. After walking for several dozen miles, Sterl finally reached the end, where a vast space awaited him.

More precisely, it was a massive prison.

The cells were spaced several dozen meters apart, each one isolated, filled with countless shackles.

Within these shackles were creatures whose breaths were faint, their bodies resembling nothing more than withered bones.

"Who... Who is it?"

Sensing the intense light, the creatures who hadn't seen color in what seemed like an eternity began to stir from their slumber.

"Someone... is entering... Abyssal Prison..."

In the cell closest to Sterl, a humanoid creature suddenly lunged toward the iron bars. Its murky eyes fixed on the figure bathed in light, trying to discern Sterl's appearance.

But after only a brief moment, its breath began to falter, gradually dissipating, until it was completely gone.

It had been trapped here for too long, and the hundreds of piercing shackles on its body were constantly draining its vitality. Now, after being awakened from its slumber, it no longer had enough life force to sustain itself.

There were many such creatures. Sterl saw many empty cells, likely where the creatures had perished, their bones having decayed away.

Sterl continued forward. In this massive prison, there were at least tens of thousands, if not more, of these cells, with a creature imprisoned in each one.

Although the creatures' life force was faint, from the occasional bursts of energy, it was clear that their presence was filled with intense malice.

However, even if these Ultimate Evil Beings were to fully recover, their strength was no match for Sterl. They were far too weak.

He continued his descent, and soon, the straight path curved downward, seemingly leading to a deeper part of the Abyssal Prison.

Clearly, the topmost level housed nothing but cannon fodder. The true powerhouses were imprisoned in the deepest parts.

The former War Demon was likely one of the Ultimate Evil Beings in the depths.

Sterl pressed onward, and when he reached the entrance to the second level, he used the same method—he threw a punch!

Instantly, all traps and defenses were obliterated, reduced to dust.

The path ahead was clear. The second level was far more expansive than the first. While there were fewer Ultimate Evil Beings imprisoned here, their presence was far more powerful, and their life force was leagues ahead of the half-dead garbage on the first level.

Awakened by the tremendous noise, a pair of eyes turned toward Sterl's location.

"Since the last time, only a year has passed. The new supplies... have they arrived so soon?"

"Idiot, the supply team wouldn't have triggered the traps hidden in the passage!"

"Could it be some nightmare creatures that broke in?"

"Impossible, nightmare creatures can't pass through..."

"Who cares who it is, get me out of here! Those damn Spirits of Dreams, I'll eat them all!"

"Defeated dogs, wailing... lost means lost..."

"Shut up!"

...

The voices were chaotic, some merely staring calmly, trying to see Sterl's appearance.

Although they had once been powerful, being in this pitch-black environment for so long, the sudden exposure to bright light still made them uncomfortable.

Some creatures were desperately struggling, the occasional sound of wailing came from the backlash of their shackles.

"You there, young one, could you spare me something to eat... I haven't had a meal in so long..."

At this moment, an elderly voice echoed from nearby.

Sterl turned toward the sound and saw a hunched, withered old man staring at him. His eyes were quickly adjusting to the strong light.

Additionally, Sterl could sense a strange, shifting energy enveloping him.
