Cynthia joined in the training, and together they practiced battling, Pokémon handling, and strategy.

But Jack's powers were still unpredictable, and he often struggled to control them. He would accidentally transform his hands or emit powerful blasts of energy.

One day, as they trained in the forest, they stumbled upon a wild Pokémon - a rare and powerful Lucario.

The Lucario eyed Jack warily, sensing the powerful energy within him.

Cynthia whispered to Jack, "This is a rare opportunity. Try to connect with the Lucario."

Jack focused his mind and reached out to the Lucario. To his surprise, he felt a strange sense of calm wash over him, and the Lucario began to glow with a soft, blue light.

"What's happening?" Cynthia asked, amazed.

Jack smiled. "I think I'm connecting with the Lucario."

The Lucario nodded its head, as if in agreement. Jack felt a surge of energy flow through him, and suddenly, he could sense the thoughts and emotions of the Lucario.

"It's working!" Professor Rowan exclaimed. "Jack, you're actually communicating with the Lucario!"
