BLOODBOUND HEART

Chapter 8: Xavier's Dilemma

Xavier watches from a distance as Helena flees the school, feeling a strange mixture of relief and guilt. He has successfully driven her away, but at what cost? As he contemplates his actions, Xavier's mind drifts to the real reason behind his obsession with Helena's departure from the school: he is trying to protect her from a darker fate that she is unaware of.

Xavier belongs to a secret society of vampires, and as a member, he is bound by strict rules and traditions.

One such rule is that humans are not to be allowed in their midst, as it risks exposing their supernatural world. When Xavier first laid eyes on Helena, he sensed something special about her, an inner strength that drew him to her like a moth to a flame.

However, he knew that her presence in the school posed a danger to both Helena and the vampire society. Xavier was left with no choice but to push her away, even if it meant becoming the very bully he despised.

Torn between his growing affection for Helena and his duty to protect his world, Xavier begins to question everything he thought he knew. He wonders if there might be a way to keep Helena safe without causing her any more pain.

As he battles with his inner turmoil, Xavier's resolve to protect Helena only grows stronger. He becomes increasingly conflicted, knowing that his actions have hurt her deeply. He realizes that he must find a way to make things right and keep her safe from the dangers that lurk in the shadows.

With a newfound determination, Xavier sets out to uncover a solution that will allow Helena to continue her life without the fear of being dragged into the dark world he inhabits. He knows that time is running out and that he must act quickly before Helena's life is changed forever.
