Bloodstained Vows & Sinful Desires

Chapter 7: A Deal with the Devil’s Heart

The air was thick with tension, a suffocating weight pressing down on her as she stood before him. Kim Taehyung sat in his grand leather chair, fingers steepled together, eyes locked onto her with a gaze that was equal parts amusement and lethal calculation.

"You don't have a choice," he murmured, voice smooth like silk but razor-sharp beneath. "We both know that."

She clenched her fists, nails digging into her palms. "There's always a choice."

Taehyung chuckled, the sound dark and rich. "No, sweetheart. There isn't. Not for you."

The firelight flickered in the dimly lit room, casting shadows that danced along the walls. It felt like a cage, an illusion of freedom when in reality, there was none.

Her breath was shaky, her pulse erratic. She had spent her life fighting against the inevitable, against the power he wielded so effortlessly. But this… this was different. Because for the first time, she wasn't just fighting for her freedom—she was fighting against something far more dangerous.

Herself.

"Name your terms," she said, forcing strength into her voice. "You want to make a deal? Fine. But I won't be your puppet."

Taehyung's lips curled into a smirk, dark amusement flashing in his gaze. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the desk. "Who said I wanted a puppet?"

She swallowed. "Then what do you want?"

He rose from his chair in one fluid movement, his presence consuming every inch of space between them. Her breath hitched when he reached for her, his fingers tilting her chin up until their eyes met.

"I want your surrender," he murmured, his voice like a dark promise. "I want you to stop running, stop pretending you don't crave this as much as I do."

A shudder rippled through her, but she masked it with defiance. "You don't own me."

Taehyung's eyes darkened, his grip tightening just enough to make her pulse hammer. "Don't I?"

She wanted to deny it. Wanted to shove him away, to pretend that his words didn't sink into her bones like a curse. But the truth was undeniable.

She had already started falling.

A Dangerous Agreement

The night stretched on, heavy with the weight of unspoken words. Taehyung had made his terms clear—she would stay, bound to him not just by blood but by something far more potent.

Desire.

And in return, she would have protection. Power. A throne carved from the very sins he ruled over.

But at what cost?

"Say yes," he whispered, fingers tracing the curve of her jaw. "And I'll give you everything."

She exhaled shakily. "And if I say no?"

Taehyung smirked, his thumb brushing over her lower lip, teasing. "Then you'll spend the rest of your life wondering what it would have been like to be mine."

Her body betrayed her, heat pooling low in her stomach at his words. She hated how easily he unraveled her, how his mere presence made her question everything she thought she knew about herself.

But this wasn't just about desire.

This was about survival.

And in a world like theirs, survival meant making dangerous choices.

She lifted her chin, meeting his gaze with unwavering determination. "Fine," she whispered. "I'll make a deal with you."

Something flickered in his eyes—satisfaction, possession, victory. "Good girl."

His lips crashed onto hers, claiming her with the intensity of a storm. There was nothing gentle about it. Nothing soft. It was dominance and hunger, a reminder that no matter what deal she thought she had made, the truth remained the same.

She belonged to the devil now.

And he had no intention of letting her go.

The kiss deepened, an intoxicating mix of power and submission. His hands roamed down her spine, pulling her flush against him as if branding his claim into her skin. She gasped into his mouth, torn between resisting and succumbing, between fear and something far more dangerous—wanting him.

He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, his fingers tangling in her hair. "You're mine now. Every breath, every thought, every moan—you belong to me."

Her heart pounded against her ribs, a frantic rhythm of defiance and reluctant acceptance. "This isn't love," she whispered, her voice shaking.

"No," he agreed, his lips ghosting over her jaw. "It's something much darker."

A shiver ran down her spine. This was a deal forged in fire and blood, a pact that could never be undone. And as Taehyung pulled her into his embrace once more, she knew one thing for certain.

She had just sold her soul to the devil himself.

The night stretched longer than she anticipated. Taehyung didn't let her go, didn't let her retreat into the illusion of solitude. His fingers trailed down her arm, a touch too gentle for the predator that he was.

"You're trembling," he noted, his voice a low rasp against her ear.

"I'm not afraid of you," she lied, her voice barely above a whisper.

His chuckle was dark amusement wrapped in silk. "I never said you were."

Her body betrayed her, heat pooling where his hands caressed. She wanted to pull away, to fight the way he effortlessly unraveled her with every smirk, every touch. But resistance was slipping through her fingers like grains of sand.

Taehyung's hand curled around her waist, pulling her closer until there was nothing left between them. "You think you can resist me?"

She exhaled shakily, her breath mingling with his. "I can try."

His lips brushed the corner of her mouth, teasing. "Try all you want, sweetheart. You've already lost."

He kissed her again, slower this time, savoring the way she melted against him. Each movement, each touch, was deliberate—an unspoken reminder that he was in control. That she had given herself to him, even if she refused to admit it.

Hours passed in that intoxicating dance of defiance and submission. When she finally lay in his bed, tangled in silk sheets and the remnants of his touch, she knew the truth she had been trying to deny.

She wasn't just bound to him by a deal.

She was bound to him by desire, by something raw and consuming.

And that was far more dangerous than anything she had ever feared.
