Chapter 19: Mysterious Threat & Trail of Conspiracy

Morning – In the car on the way to school

Gevran sat in the back seat of the car, staring at the mysterious message on his phone. He had already checked the sender's number—it wasn't registered. Han Jimin, sitting next to him, leaned over to look.

"You think it's just some prank?"

Gevran shook his head slowly. "The timing's too perfect. Right after the forum, it shows up... like a warning."

"Are you gonna tell your dad?"

"Not yet. If this is serious, I need to know who's pulling the strings."

---

At school – Class 3-B

The atmosphere in class was different than usual. Everyone's eyes were on Gevran. Some looked at him with admiration, some with curiosity, and others... with clear disdain.

Min Hyuk sat in the corner, whispering to two of his friends. "He thinks he can be a hero? Let's see how long he lasts."

Just then, the homeroom teacher walked in holding an official envelope.

"Gevran Yi Jido, you're summoned to the principal's office. Now."

---

Principal's Office

The principal looked tense. On his laptop screen was an anonymous email sent to the school's official account:

> "If the school continues to facilitate activities led by the student named Gevran Yi Jido, prepare to face the consequences. This includes your reputation, funding, and student safety."

The principal's face turned pale.

"Is this... a threat?" Gevran asked.

"More than that. It's political pressure. We've already heard that some major sponsors are pulling out. Certain alumni are also questioning yesterday's forum."

Before the principal could say more, his phone rang. The caller ID showed: Jido Yi.

Evening – Jido Yi's Study

"So you're saying you don't know who sent that message?"

Jido Yi stared at Gevran, eyes sharp—but behind the glare was a worried father.

"Dad, I'm not afraid," Gevran answered firmly.

"Fear isn't about you. It's about the safety of those around you."

Yi-Ana walked in holding a folder.

"There's something you both need to see." She laid down documents from the farmer's association she led.

"Some female farmers in rural regions also received similar messages after supporting the anti-bullying movement. This isn't just about school. It's about a system trying to silence us."

Gevran skimmed the documents quickly. Patterns of threats, anonymous sources, and media influence networks. All structured.

---

Late night – Gevran's Room

Gevran sat at his laptop, mapping out every piece of intel he had: sponsor names, media groups, alumni, and organizations now turning against him. Then he logged into a secret online forum where bullying victims had shared their stories.

Suddenly, a user named "LUX-74" sent him a direct message:

> "We know you'll fight back. But you're not alone. Look inside the system. Search 'Project Orion.' That's where it all begins."

Gevran stared at the screen, brows furrowed.

"Project Orion…?"

That night, for the first time, he realized: the forum wasn't the climax—it was just the gate to a darker world full of secrets.

End of Chapter 19:

Gevran's footsteps echoed through the school's corridor, which now felt different. Behind the smiles, he sensed something watching. The once-silent voices were now speaking up. But other voices... still wanted to silence them.

> "If this is a war, then I won't fight alone."
