Broken Possessors of Infinite Regression Academy

Chapter 119

On the lush green grass, a girl in a black robe, pulled over her head, was murmuring to herself with a beaming smile.

“You always exceed my expectations. I didn’t think you’d become this strong.”

Beneath her feet lay an unnaturally beautiful and brilliant natural landscape—the aftermath of ‘the light’. Plucking a blooming flower, she savored its fragrance, humming a tune as she walked forward. She stopped at a certain point, looking down and speaking.

“Another failure, Astaroth?”

Just like last time.

“You should’ve been more patient. If you’d waited just one more week, a perfect opportunity would’ve presented itself. Why get so fixated on being a Queen when you could’ve been a Demon King? Being a Demon King is way better than being a Succubus Queen.”

The girl giggled. Had Astaroth not been driven by jealousy and rushed to find out the new Succubus Queen’s identity, which turned out to be Nika, she could’ve had a better outcome.

“Sorry, but I can’t save you this time. Your very concept has been annihilated.”

And that was the consequence—a conclusion without even a handful of remains, a permanent erasure of existence, including the concept of ever being in the real world.

The girl, amused, kept humming as she sat down in the flowerbed, as if chatting with someone beside her.

“That light was truly amazing. Just feeling its aftermath made my body shiver. Isn’t that awesome, coming from me?

She began to ramble on like a child on Christmas, excitedly talking about the sensation she experienced and mostly praising Mira Crete.

After a while, she stood up, dusting off her backside.

“Well, that was a good chat. It’s always nice to have someone to talk to, even if you couldn’t hear me anyway.”

She chuckled at the ground and turned to leave, only to pause as if realizing something. “Oh!” She exclaimed and exaggeratedly slapped her forehead.

“I almost forgot. It’s all that man’s fault. How can I not be excited after seeing that?”

She grumbled a mix of praise and complaints and raised her right index finger. Black energy emanated from its tip, enveloping the surrounding nature.

The land, once teeming with life, withered and reverted to a barren wasteland incapable of supporting any life. The girl stomped on the dried grass, creating a rustling sound, and laughed.

“Yup. That’s it. Now I can leave.”

The girl, who had plucked a flower earlier and kept it on her chest, held it between her thumb and middle finger, smiling as she poked at the petals with her other fingers.

“Keep getting stronger and stronger, Mira Crete.”

With the third poke, the flower lost its last bit of life and faded. The delicate fingers withdrew, leaving the colorless petals to gently fall and rest among their companions.

“Until you can come to me.”

“… …”

As I opened my eyes, a daze washed over me. At least my body still seemed to be functioning. I propped myself up and looked around. Familiar ceiling, familiar walls, and a familiar sight greeted me.

“Young Master! Are you awake?!”

Beatrice, who had been sitting on a chair next to the bed, rushed over, making a ruckus, and tightly held my hand. I squeezed her hand back.

“Yeah, I’m okay. This is your room, right?”

“Yes, it is. Rest assured, aside from me, Yustera, and another guest, no one else knows that you’re back.”

I felt grateful that she had quietly brought me to her room without alerting the doctors or my parents, but that gratitude was short-lived as Beatrice immediately started tending to me.

It was as if she had been waiting for this moment—her eyes blazed with determination fueled by worry.

“Wait, I can eat the porridge by myself.”

“Do you remember who it was that left alone and then returned in Yustera’s arms, unconscious? If you could please spell out your name clearly, I would be grateful. I need to explain to you how shocked and sad I was seeing you like that.”

“I’m sorry.”

“If you are truly sorry, please open your mouth.”

I obediently opened my mouth. I had no right to argue after leaving on my own and returning unconscious.

Beatrice personally fed me not one, but four bowls of porridge before finally concluding the meal. She then produced a wet towel and meticulously wiped every inch of my upper body.

It was as if she wouldn’t tolerate me leaving her side for even a moment.

“Now that you’ve eaten, go back to sleep, Young Master. It’s time for bed.”

“But I just woke up, I’m not sleepy.”

“The mental trauma of seeing you unconscious…”

“… …”

In the end, Beatrice confidently took her place next to me on the bed, gently pulling me into an embrace. My head was nestled in the soft folds of her arms. Sleep still eluded me.

It took a full hour before I was finally released from her hold. Despite using her arm as a pillow for that entire hour, Beatrice showed no signs of discomfort and immediately proceeded to the next task.

“No, I’ll dress myself.”

Beatrice, holding a set of indoor clothes, approached me with a determined look on her face.

“I dressed you until you were sixteen, didn’t I?”

“But I’m not sixteen anymore. And I clearly remember insisting on dressing myself since I was seven.”

“Ugh, the trauma is resurfacing again…”

“But this much is non-negotiable.”

“… …”

After some pouting and negotiation, a dramatic agreement was reached, allowing Beatrice to help me change only the upper half of my clothes. Her delicate touch, as if handling a cup filled to the brim, carefully attended to my upper body.

Beatrice respectfully bowed her head, holding the changed clothes, and then left the room. Despite my body feeling fine, my mind felt exhausted.

“Are you alright, Master?”

Nika, or rather, Yustera, the timid and gentle maid, entered tentatively, a stark contrast to the Succubus Queen she had been in the Demon World.

“How does your body feel? Is there anywhere that hurts?”

“I’m fine. Just a bit dizzy. I kept telling them I was alright, but it didn’t seem to get through.”

I deliberately attributed it to Beatrice’s overprotection, a tactic I had used countless times before. It was also my way of indicating that I didn’t want to dwell on what had happened.

“How long was I out?”

“Two hours.”

“What? That’s not long at all.”

“Well, it’s relative. For you, it might feel like you just woke up, but for us, we had no idea if you’d be asleep for a day, a week, a month, or even a year.”

“… …”

“The Demon King… or rather, the former Demon King, was extremely worried. She thought you might have overexerted yourself to the point of death.”

I must have appeared to have used every ounce of my strength, but it wasn’t quite like that. I had simply unleashed the full power of the Holy Spear, which I had been unconsciously restricting.

Nonetheless, I felt relieved. Being unconscious for only two hours meant that even with the time spent under Beatrice’s care, it had been less than half a day since I left the Academy.

I should be able to return to the Academy without any issues.

“So, where’s Elysier?”

“She’s downstairs as a guest. I assume the Head Butler went to inform her that you’ve awakened.”

As if to prove the point, Elysier soon entered the room. To conceal her identity as the Demon King, she looked slightly different from usual.

Her horns were gone, and her hair and eye color had changed from purple and pink to a mundane black. Her attire had also transformed from her usual white coat and revealing dress to a guest noble uniform, which hugged her body tightly, accentuating her large chest, hips, and buttocks, giving off a rather risqué vibe. However, she seemed quite pleased with the reduced exposure, judging by her expression.

“Are you feeling better now, my dear? I am relieved.”

“What happened? What about you?”

“On the contrary, I should be asking you the same question. What exactly is that power? Or rather, let me ask something else. The power was immense, but it felt like a Holy Sword, yet it had no effect on you or the Succubus Queen. Instead, it felt comforting and warm.”

I responded with a bitter smile, indicating that I didn’t want to discuss it at the moment, and Elysier wisely refrained from pressing further.

Nika, observing our interaction, cautiously spoke up.

“Um… Master. If it’s not too forward of me, may I ask just one question? What is your relationship with her? I mean, considering what happened before and now…”

“Whatever you may imagine, our relationship goes beyond that.”

Elysier let out a snort, half-joking.

“It’s deeper than that…? A human and… a Demon King? How…?”

“Is there a reason why it shouldn’t be so?”

“No! It’s not that, but…”

Nika fell silent for a moment, looking confused, then quietly lowered her head. “Then I too…” she murmured softly.

What more could she hope for beyond their already established master-slave relationship?

“Now that our chat is over, I must deliver some unfortunate news. I was unable to retrieve the Demon Sword. Whether it was destroyed by your power or simply vanished, despite searching thoroughly with the Succubus Queen, we couldn’t find it.”

“You couldn’t retrieve the Demon Sword? So, Elysier, you’re…”

“I’m now just a slightly stronger demon than the average ones. And the Demon World will be in tremendous chaos. The Demon King is gone, after all. Countless beings must have witnessed that light, and some may even conclude that the Demon King is dead.”

Elysier laughed, clearly enjoying the thought.

“However, it’s not our concern or business. They are a race destined to disappear eventually; their time has simply come a little sooner.”

I nodded quietly in agreement.

“What about you, Nika?”

When I turned to her, she fidgeted and shrunk a little as she replied.

“I need to go to the Demon World for a while. There’s a disruption in the regular supply of qi, and I have to feed everyone there… Oh, and I’m not giving them anything strange, absolutely not! I just take it out of my body and throw it at them!”

In her hand appeared a semi-transparent, white substance that seemed to change colors constantly, indicating that she could adjust its color at will.

“Um… Master… about that…”

Nika glanced at my lips and fiddled with her fingers.

“I’ll need a lot of qi to distribute it to my children… so… hehe…”

Her intentions were obvious. Elysier, who was standing beside us, sighed and looked at me, offering a piece of advice to not drag it out too long, before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.

Once we were alone, Nika climbed onto the bed, straddling my thighs with her legs spread wide. Her eyes were gradually turning pink.

“It’s okay, Master. This isn’t a kiss. It’s just you feeding your property, that’s all…”

.

.

.

Contrary to Elysier’s warning and advice to finish quickly, it took a full 30 minutes for Nika to leave the room. Elysier, surprised that her appearance wasn’t disheveled, remarked, “So, she does have a concept of self-control after all. How unexpected.”

“She couldn’t hold back. I blocked her attempts.”

“So that’s why she left, rubbing her thighs together.”

Nika’s patience lasted exactly five minutes. As soon as it ran out, she pressed her body against mine, repeatedly groping my lower half and attempting to rip open the buttons on her maid outfit’s chest, only to be thwarted by my unwavering resistance.

I had simply given her what she asked for—qi. If she couldn’t control herself, she could figure out a solution on her own.

“What about you now, Elysier? You can’t return to the Demon World, and you’re no longer the Demon King.”

“I do have something in mind.”

“What is it?”

At my question, Elysier suddenly pressed himself against me.

“I’ll do anything, so please help me stay here.”

“What?”
