Chapter 335 : A deal
"Wait... wait..." Luis urgently called out, causing Nyx to pause just as she was about to end the call.
Nyx's expression remained serious as she inquired, "What?"
"I know you're determined once you've made up your mind," Luis began, his tone hurried, "but hear me out. I've got something that might make you reconsider."
What is it? Nyx asked in a serious tone as she just zipped her supply bag.
Luis's playful laughter carried a note of seriousness as he responded, "If you decide to join me now, I have a tempting offer. Once my family takes control of this country, I'll assist you in eliminating the Skull Organisation."
"Consider it – the very group responsible for your father's death and the relentless pursuit of your organisation's members."
"And that's not all; I'll also help you rebuild your father's secret organisation." Stay updated with My Virtual Library Empire
Nyx's expression remained steadfast, her voice unwavering as she asked, "And how can I be sure that you'll uphold your end of the bargain?"
With confidence and a touch of seriousness, Luis responded, "You know me better than that, Nyx. My word is my bond. Together, we can dismantle the Skull Organisation and create a lasting legacy in your father's honour."
Nyx's silence held a weight of contemplation, as the prospect of retribution, justice, and rebuilding her father's legacy played out in her mind.
As Nyx weighed the proposal, a myriad of emotions flickered in her eyes – the pull of revenge, the chance to reclaim her father's legacy, and the intricate dance of aligning her goals with Luis's ambitions. She unzipped her bag as she found that this the chance she is waiting for.
Yet, beneath the surface, Luis harboured his own intentions. His laughter and promises masked a deeper desire – his fascination with Nyx. His pursuit of her allegiance wasn't just strategic; it was laced with a personal attraction he aimed to exploit. In all these years he always had the desire to sleep with Nyx who is paramount of beauty.
"Luis, I'll offer my assistance this time," Nyx declared, her voice carrying a tone of seriousness. "But you better remember your promise. You're well aware of what I'm capable of if you dare to deceive me."
Luis's laughter danced through the connection, undeterred by Nyx's warning. "Haha, no need for threats. My family's power and wealth are unparalleled right now. Lending a hand is a mere formality."
Nyx's resolve remained unyielding as she presented another condition. "There's one more thing. I won't engage with that young man, Das, directly. My involvement will be in terms of information and surveillance."
"Agreed," Luis responded readily, his tone revealing his eagerness. "First, make your way to my army camp in the Northern port area. We can discuss the specifics there." There is a wide evil grin hung on Luis face as he thought of embracing the naked body of Nyx.
Nyx's thoughts briefly lingered on the enigmatic Das, a figure who had managed to evoke a deep sense of unease within her. With a final exchange of details, Nyx ended the call, disconnecting from Luis's presence.
Nyx's wariness and Luis's confidence created a dynamic tension, while unspoken intentions lay beneath their words. As the call concluded, both figures embarked on a path that would intertwine their fates, leading to an intricate dance of hidden intensions, strategy, and the unpredictable currents of fate. Might also leads to someone's death.

Amidst the morning stillness, Das gradually stirred from his slumber, the clock's hands indicating a relatively late hour of 9 o'clock. As he stretched and his eyes fluttered open, he yawned softly.
However, the casual morning routine was abruptly interrupted as his eyes landed on an unexpected sight. A bewildered "Aeee..." escaped his lips as he sat up in bed, a jolt of surprise coursing through him.
In the room's confines, an elderly man with a single eye sat comfortably on a wooden chair positioned opposite the bed. The absence of Luna and Sheela by his side caught Das's attention, heightening his sense of confusion and alarm.
"Who are you?" Das's voice held a mix of perplexity and caution, his grip on the bedsheet tightening as he instinctively shielded his naked body.
With a calm demeanour, the old man puffed on a wooden cigar pipe, a wisp of smoke trailing from its end. "Princess Serena sent me," he responded in a measured tone. "She mentioned you were in need of a trainer."
As Das processed the stranger's words, his mind raced. Questions formed a whirlwind in his thoughts. "The room's door was locked. How did you manage to enter? And what happened to the girls who were with me?"
An air of patience clung to the old man's presence as he responded, "Don't fret. I arrived after the girls had left your room."
"Now, gather yourself in ten minutes, and make your way to the palace training grounds. I'll be there, waiting."
With those calm instructions, the old man rose from his seat, the wooden chair creaking softly under his weight. He left the room at a leisurely pace, an aura of calm assurance enveloping him. The door clicked shut behind him, and Das was left in the wake of an unexpected encounter that seemed to set the stage for a new chapter in his journey.
Das took a moment to absorb the information the old man had conveyed. He swiftly rose from the bed, purposefully dressing himself and splashing water onto his face. With a newfound resolve, he stepped outside to assess the situation.
Outside, the atmosphere was bustling. Ruth's young female students had already completed their training session and were now heartily enjoying their breakfast. A sense of camaraderie lingered in the air as they chatted and laughed, their energy infectious.
As Das inquired about Stella's whereabouts, he pieced together the details and learned that she had stepped outside. Intent on finding her, he ventured further, his steps carrying him towards his destination.
Unbeknownst to him, a pair of eyes trailed his departing figure with a knowing smile. Latha, the girl who had confessed her feelings to him the previous night, observed him with an air of mystery. Her gaze held a certain intrigue, hinting at secrets she might be harbouring.
As Das emerged into the open, he was greeted by the sight of Stella bidding Luna and Sheela farewell. Relief washed over him as he took in their smiling faces, reassured by their well-being.
Sheela and Luna reciprocated the sentiment with warm smiles, though Ember, who sat sullenly in the car, appeared visibly disappointed. She had hoped for more time with Das and her mood mirrored her unfulfilled wishes.
With a gentle gesture, Das took the baby into his arms, eliciting joyful giggles from the little one. He waved goodbye to Sheela and Luna as they departed in separate cars, the baby's playful touches adding an air of light-heartedness to the scene.
