Brothel Manager : Unexpected Encounter with A Hidden Family Heirloom

Chapter 510: Fierce Fight of Family Heads!

"It's too boring for me. Need to throw some fire!" Das muttered with an evil grin, his eyes glinting mischievously. Das stopped on the highest point and looked over the battlefield where two massive armies, the Farus family and the Taurus family, had been locked in a tense standoff for hours. The soldiers glared at each other from behind their respective shield walls, but no one dared to make the first move. The eerie silence of the island battlefield was suffocating. Das taking a last look at Taurus army formation. He clearly didn't like this passive war. Das thrived in chaos. Striding purposefully towards the Farus family's army, he snatched a bow from one of the bewildered archers. "Hey, that's mine!" The archer protested, but after seeing Das, he bowed down in fear. As Das approached the shield wall, the Farus family general, a burly man named Kuna, raised an eyebrow. "Das, what are you up to?" he demanded. "What does it look like?" Das replied, nocking an arrow and aiming towards the Taurus family lines. "I'm going to liven things up." Before Kuna could protest further, Das released the arrow. It sailed through the air with a deadly whistle, surpassed the frontlines of the Taurus family's shield wall. The sharp crack of impact was followed by a soldier's anguished cry as he crumpled lifelessly to the ground. "Direct hit," Das said, his grin widening. He fired another arrow, then another, each one striking true. The Taurus soldiers scrambled to raise their shields higher, but Das's arrows seemed to find every gap in their defense. Panic rippled through their ranks. "We're under attack! Shields up! Hold the line! Protect the backlines and archers!" shouted Ryon Taurus, the patriarch of the Taurus family, his voice tinged with both anger and fear. "This isn't an attack—it's that bastard again!" exclaimed Thomas, the Patriarch of the Aries family, who stood at Ryon's side. "Then stop him! Shoot him down!" Ryon roared, his face red with fury. But all their attempts failed. Finally, the Taurus patriarch instructed the army to move back. On the Farus family side, Das's actions electrified the army. The previously stagnant soldiers roared with excitement, inspired by the chaos he had unleashed. General Kuna seized the moment. "Farus soldiers, advance!" he bellowed, his voice cutting through the cacophony. "Show them our might!" The Farus army surged forward, their shield wall pressing against the retreating Taurus forces. "Push them back! Push them into the sea!" a Farus lieutenant shouted. Das continued his relentless barrage, taking down more than ten Taurus soldiers before finally lowering his bow. "That should do it," he said, brushing off his hands and stepping back casually. "The rest is up to you, General." Kuna shook his head, half-nervous and half-impressed. "You're a maniac, Das. But I'll give you this—you know how to start the war." The Taurus soldiers, meanwhile, were in disarray. Ryon Taurus's face twisted in frustration as he watched his soldiers falter. "We cannot retreat any further! This is our land!" he shouted. "Forward! All units, attack!" With a rallying cry, the Taurus soldiers charged. The Farus army braced for impact, their shields locking together as the two forces collided. The island erupted with the deafening clang of metal on metal and the guttural cries of battle. High above the battlefield, General Harries of the Indian Army observed through binoculars. His soldiers, armed with advanced weaponry, stood at the ready but remained spectators. "No modern weapons in play," Harries noted. "Primitive warfare. Fascinating." Back on the battlefield, Das walked away from the frontline, his job done. "Good luck, Patriarch," he said with a lazy wave. Patriarch Long smirked. "We won't need luck. Just keep your sword ready." As the clash raged, the Taurus family's formation began to crumble. Ryon Taurus, his face a mask of determination, knew he had to act. Drawing the family dagger, he held it high. The weapon glowed with an eerie black light. "Spirits of the ancestors, hear me!" Ryon shouted. "I summon you, Mighty Spirit!" The ground beneath the battlefield trembled as the massive, spectral form of a scorpion emerged, its body shimmering with neon black energy. The creature burrowed into the earth, re-emerging amidst the Farus soldiers. Its pincers snapped, crushing shields and scattering warriors. "Fall back! Fall back!" shouted a Farus captain as the scorpion spirit wreaked havoc. Patriarch Long stepped forward, unflinching. Raising the family heirloom, he invoked his own family's spirit. "Rise, Respected White Snake Spirit!" he commanded. A brilliant white light illuminated the battlefield as a colossal serpent materialized, its scales shimmering like polished silver. With a hiss that echoed across the island, the snake lunged at the scorpion. The two spirits clashed violently, their movements shaking the ground. The battle of spirit continued for the next hour. The strain of controlling the spirits was evident on both patriarchs. Sweat poured down Ryon's face, and his hands trembled as he directed the scorpion. Long fared no better, his knees buckling under the mental pressure. "Hold steady, Patriarch Long!" one of his General's shouted. "I'm… trying!" Long gasped, his voice strained. Suddenly, a new person appearance on Taurus' family side, stopping the chaos. Maya, The sorcerer lady, Ryon's wife, stepping forward. Draped in flowing black robes, her presence commanded attention. "Maya, let me handle this! There is still time!" Ryon protested. "Let me show you how it's done," she said with a serious look. Extending her hands, she took control of the scorpion spirit effortlessly. The creature's movements became sharper and more precise, its attacks more devastating. On the Farus side, Patriarch Long faltered. Blood trickled from his mouth as he collapsed to the ground. "Patriarch Long!" cried all the family members. From the sidelines, Amara, who had been resting, rushed forward. She knelt beside Long, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Rest, Father. I'll take it from here," she said softly. Amara rose, her eyes blazing with determination. Raising her arms, Holding the weapon, she assumed control of the White Snake Spirit. Despite her inexperience, she held her ground, guiding the serpent with surprising skill. "Impressive," Maya remarked, her tone mocking. "But do you really think you can match me?" Amara didn't respond. She focused entirely on the battle, the snake lunging and coiling to counter the scorpion's attacks. The battlefield grew eerily silent as all eyes turned to the titanic struggle between the two spirits. Maya laughed wickedly, her voice echoing across the island. "You're outmatched. Surrender now, and I might spare your army." Amara gritted her teeth. "I'd rather die than give in to the likes of you," she shot back. For an hour, the two women clashed through their spirits, the strain evident on both. Amara's face was pale, but she refused to yield. Maya began to show signs of dominance. "Why won't you just give up?" Maya hissed. Amara smiled faintly. "Because I fight with everything and won't fear wicked people like you." The battle raged on, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance.
