Upon entering, Ling Feng and Meng Yang exchanged surprised glances when they noticed Qiu Shui standing deferentially behind Mo Yu. Zi Huo simply grinned and greeted Mo Yu with a warm "Boss!" before positioning himself at his leader's side.

Feeling the wild energy emanating from the burly Zi Huo, Qiu Shui's grip tightened around his sword, his expression momentarily tensing.

"Heh, this is Qiu Shui," Mo Yu announced with a faint smile. "Today, he officially joins Yuan Manor as an Elder."

At these words, both Ling Feng and Meng Yang's eyes widened in shock.

"Death Sword Qiu Shui" was a known figure in Black-Corner Region, renowned for his skill and independence. Rumor had it that even some first-rate factions had failed to recruit him.

What Ling Feng and Meng Yang hadn't expected was that their own Lord had managed to recruit him.

This revelation made Mo Yu even more mysterious in their eyes.

After passing on this information, Mo Yu paid little attention to Ling Feng and Meng Yang's shock and continued, "Now that Yuan Manor's operations are stable, it's time for me to leave Shi Yan City and head to Jia Nan Academy."

Looking closely, Mo Yu saw several corpses hanging from the tree branches. The wind blew, causing them to sway and emit a haunting creak.

Although the corpses had long decayed, their auras indicated they had been formidable Dou Wang and Dou Huang experts in life.

"So this is the Death Spirit Tree… Jia Nan Academy is truly domineering," Mo Yu murmured.
