Casanova System: Seducing the CEO's Daughter is only the Beginning

Chapter 12: 12. Priorities

Dane had returned home from his date with Layla. As much as he enjoyed the time he spent with the beautiful lady, the thoughts in his head did not allow him such respite. All through the ride back home, Dane couldn't shake off the fact that the system was indeed real. Now that he had seen it and enjoyed benefits from it, he found it rather a hard pill to swallow.

Dane had freshened him and poured himself a glass of juice which he was yet to even sip as he stared at his phone for the longest time. The $2000 had been wired to his bank account, and he still could it believe it.

[Total Bal: $2,600]

His bank account evidently showed him that he was $2000 richer, and still, Dane couldn't come to terms with it. Even though he anticipated it so much, he didn't know if how he felt was the right reaction to such a thing. Dane didn't know if the Casanova system was a blessing or if it would be a curse in the long run. Such a thing would hardly go unnoticed eventually. What was he going to do then?

Run? Hide?

Dane hoped not as he sighed with relief. He could already imagine what he would do with the system and how wealthy he would become if only he could keep it low-key for now until he understood the system fully enough to use it without fear or unnecessary caution.

"I hope this doesn't land me in trouble," he muttered, finally sipping from the glass of cold juice.

Dane glanced at his messages again and the money was still there. He had registered his account details per the system's instructions as he drove home. Otherwise, the money would remain floating until he did. Using $200 to get ten times more was an unimaginable feat; unless he was a fraudster or a magical money doubler, there was no way he was going to get that amount in such a manner.

Dane leaned back on the chair and laughed while continuing to take his drink slowly.

"Things are really about to get interesting."

He thought back to everything he had seen when he unlocked the features. From the rebate feature to the harem feature, and even the skill. Dane was already conversant with the skill and was sure that he would max out [Sweet Tongue] sooner than expected since he was already good with conversations, thanks to the nature of his line of work. The rebate feature has already been put to the test and worked. It was the harem feature of the system that he wondered what would happen there.

Dane noted that it came at the same time as the rebate and the condition for his rebate feature to activate was tied to the harem itself. Without a harem, he would basically not reach the level of wealth he envisions for himself. He needed it!

He also noticed how Cassie was automatically added to it, and putting two and two together, coupled with the fact that Cassie was the woman he had shared time with when this happened, Dane knew it was far-fetched that she was the first. He was starting to understand this.

'Spend on them. Get the ultimate cashback and them as well. It's basically a win situation with no losses,' he thought as he analysed the entire thing, seeing how it immensely favoured him.

Dane pulled the drawer connected to the table in front of him, taking out a piece of paper and a pen as he scribbled down some things on it. He outlined his plans and what he wanted to achieve in no particular order. That way, he could easily keep track of his progress. For now, his goals were simple and somewhat easy.

He needed to fill up his harem with an extra member and then, max out his [Sweet Tongue] skill. The third item on his priority list was to also max out Cassie's attraction towards him. He was already starting strong with a 6.3 assessment out of a possible 10. It was not bad at all and Dane was happy realising this since it meant it would be easier to penetrate the Greys even more than he anticipated.

His mouth twisted into a maniacal smile before momentarily disappearing.

With the Casanova System, Dane Morgans had everything he needed to make his dreams come true.

———

Throughout their drive back home, Cassie did not say one word to Layla and neither did the latter do the same. The cousins remained silent in the back seat of the car, even leaving the driver worried as he couldn't help but monitor them from the rearview mirror just to be certain that everything was fine.

It was indeed unusual for Layla and Cassie to give each other silent treatment for this long. While Cassie was outrightly engrossed with the view outside the window on her side, Layla pretended to be watching a movie on her tablet and from time to time, she would throw in a fake laughter which the other two already knew was Layla being Layla.

Cassie gave her cousin a sidelong glance. She couldn't understand what Layla's problem was. First, she keeps them waiting for so long and doesn't even own to her fault, and now, she wants to pretend that there's no elephant in the room... car in this case.

Cassie clicks her tongue and shakes her head with mild disappointment. It was this gesture that gained Layla's attention as she shifted her eyes from her tablet screen for the first time in almost half an hour to look at Cassie.

"What's it, Cass?" she asked with a smile. "What's eating you up?"

Cassie looked at her and thought for a moment. If her cousin was clearly going to play ignorant, then she didn't see the point of bringing it up. It would be fruitless to do so since Layla would simply not own up to her mistake.

She stared her gaze at Layla, the latter shrugged and urging her with facial expression to speak up.

"Nothing, Layla," Cassie said, lying through her teeth. "I'm just exhausted."
