"I was betrayed. By love. By fate. By myself. But death didn't end me. No…I drifted."

He lifts a hand. A small flame flickers to life, drifting off into the void…

Cut to a cramped, dusty alley. Our "hero" lies face-down in a pile of trash, groaning.

KAI"Ow. Okay. That was definitely not my best idea."

Zoom out to reveal him holding a melted lunch box, slightly on fire.

SHOP OWNER (OFFSCREEN)"YOU BLEW UP THE FURNACE AGAIN?!"

KAI (grinning sheepishly)"Hey, I improved it! Now it explodes and cooks faster."

Talent: Talking fast, running faster, and somehow not dying

[Scene: Later That Night – Crater in the Woods]

Kai sneaks out after hearing rumors of a fallen star. Instead of gold or treasure… he finds a strange crystal orb pulsing with firelight. It hums.

KAI"Oh great. It's probably cursed. Or worse—taxable."

He reaches out. The moment his fingers touch the surface…

BOOM.

Blinding light. Flames. Visions flood his mind—stars, battles, gods, betrayal. A name echoes:

VOICE (Zarion's echo)"The Ember Soul… lives."

Kai screams—then passes out.

[Scene: Guild Tower – Morning After]

Enter Lyra Veylin – elegant, deadly, and visibly annoyed.

She slams a report on the council table.

LYRA"A commoner absorbed a fragment of a Class-S celestial relic. He's unstable. He could explode!"

GUILD MASTER (munching snacks)"Mhm. Or maybe fate likes dramatic irony. Send a team."

LYRA"I'll go. If this boy's dangerous, I'll handle it myself."

[Scene: Back in Grayholt – Kai's Bedroom]

Kai wakes up… on the ceiling.

KAI"AHHHHH—WHY AM I FLOATING?!"

He crashes onto his bed. Flames flicker on his skin, then vanish.

KAI"Okay, Kai. Chill. You just… got cosmic fire powers.Happens to everyone, right? Right?"

A small raccoon-bear with a cape pokes his head out from under the bed.

TOMA"Wrong. You're doomed. Probably possessed. Also—hello. I'm your new sidekick."

KAI"…I need therapy."

[Scene: Outside the Shop – Moments Later]

Lyra arrives in a flash of light. Guild troops behind her. The street clears.

LYRA (eyes narrow)"Kai Arlen. You're coming with me."

KAI (waving nervously)"Can I finish breakfast first or…?"

[Cliffhanger Ending]

Suddenly, a rip in the sky opens. Shadow creatures pour out—massive, twisted beings of void-energy.

TOMA (screaming)"AHH! SHADOW HORRORS! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!"

KAI (backing up)"This escalated FAST—"

Flames erupt from Kai's body. His eyes flicker amber. He steps forward.

KAI (Ember Voice)"Touch this world again… and burn."

Fade out as the first monster lunges.
