[Douluo Continent, Heaven Dou Empire, Heaven Dou City, Dugu Mansion...]

Upon arriving back at their home in Heaven Dou City, Dugu Bo sensed that Dugu Xin and Mo Ying were still in Dugu Chen's room, prompting the grandfather and grandson to head there right away.

As the two of them entered the room, Mo Ying immediately came forward and hugged Dugu Chen fiercely, "Xiao Chen! I am so glad that nothing happened to you!"

"I am alright, mother. Nothing happened to me. There wasn't any danger and Grandpa protected me all the time." Dugu Chen confirmed Mo Ying while gently patting her shoulders.

It took a few minutes before Mo Ying calmed down sufficiently enough to listen to Dugu Bo as he recounted their adventure in the Sunset Forest.

Dugu Xin and Mo Ying listened with rapt attention, their faces shifting between astonishment, shock, and confusion as they listened.

"You're telling me you found a place called Divine Herb Garden Secret Realm and the place was filled with special herbs everywhere, the place also restricts the use of Soul Power and Martial Soul. You also found a skeleton of some peak expert, and treasures she left behind?" Dugu Xin asked, rubbing his temples in disbelief.

"And now Chen'er has some ancient ring and pendant that has some strange functions we can't even fully understand?" Mo Ying asked, her voice laced with concern.

Dugu Bo nodded and responded with an impassive "It's hard to believe, even for me, but it's all true. This pendant and ring are unlike anything I've ever seen in all my life."

Dugu Chen then held up the Azure Heaven Pendant for everyone to see. "This pendant lets us enter and exit the Divine Herb Garden Secret Realm at any time. It also has a Time Acceleration function, but I can't use it yet. Additionally, the information I received after bonding with the pendant states that as I grow stronger, more of the pendant's function will be unlocked in the future."

Dugu Xin and Mo Ying frowned slightly upon hearing their son's explanation. The red-haired woman couldn't help but ask, "Father, a strange pendant that has the ability to mysteriously transfer knowledge, it's not an evil item, right?"

"I am not sure myself, Ying'er. However, during our return journey, I thoroughly checked Chen'er with my Soul Power and Spiritual Power. I didn't find anything amiss with him." Dugu Bo answered with a frown on his face.

"Chen'er, what is that Time Acceleration function you mentioned?" Dugu Xin questioned in an attempt to divert his wife's attention from worrying thoughts.

Dugu Chen responded to his father after gathering his thoughts for a moment, "The Time Acceleration function speeds up the flow of time inside the Divine Herb Garden depending on the user's strength and the surrounding energy density. This way, if a herb takes 10 years to grow in the outside world, with the Time Acceleration function, it will take less than that."

All three adults were shocked upon hearing this. They didn't expect that the Azure Heaven Pendant had such a Heaven-defying ability.

"This Time Acceleration function is so much more powerful than my 8th Soul Ring Soul Skill, Time Freeze!" Dugu Bo exclaimed with shock, "I wonder how Mu Qingqiu was able to create this pendant or maybe she obtained this from somewhere else. However created this, their abilities are beyond my comprehension."

Dugu Xin and Mo Ying grew even more shocked upon hearing this. After all, in their eyes, Dugu Bo was the strongest existence below the Titled Douluo level.

Given Dugu Bo's confidence in reaching the rank of Titled Douluo within the next few years, their immediate reaction to his statement was to assume that the creator of the Azure Heaven Pendant must be someone beyond the level of a Titled Douluo.

Beyond Titled Douluo-level existence! They couldn't even think someone like that could exist.

It took a while for them to come back to their senses.

Meanwhile, Dugu Chen was engrossed in examining the Scarlet Autumn Storage Ring. Having recognized him as its master, the ring's once worn and aged appearance had vanished, replaced by a stunning red-gold finish that made it look exceptionally beautiful.

He instinctively mobilized his Spiritual Power to access its storage space and the next moment, his eyes widened with shock and a gasp involuntarily escaped his mouth.

"There's… so much stuff in here," he muttered, feeling completely overwhelmed. In this life or his previous life, he hadn't ever seen this much wealth stored in one place.

There were hundreds of neatly labeled jade bottles containing round pills. Thousands of books, some ancient and fragile, others pristine. Rare metals gleaming with strange and powerful auras. Special Herbs that radiated vibrant energy. Mountains of gold coins stacked alongside numerous weapons and unique tools. He also noticed dozens of exquisite-looking Cauldrons.

Dugu Chen stood frozen, staring at the treasures. "What's inside, Chen'er?" Dugu Bo's voice broke his trance.

He was about to examine the items more thoroughly when a sudden, sharp pain hit his head. Wincing, he clutched his temples. "Ah! My head... it hurts!"

Mo Ying immediately rushed to her son's side, her worry evident, "What's wrong, Xiao Chen?"

Dugu Bo frowned, using his Soul Power and Spiritual Power to examine Dugu Chen, "His Spiritual Power is very low right now," he said after a moment. "It seems that he needs to consume his Spiritual Power in order to use the Storage Ring.

"Chen'er's ability to even access its storage space briefly is really remarkable since he hasn't undergone his Martial Soul Awakening Ceremony yet."

Hearing this, Mo Ying looked at Dugu Chen with a stern expression and said, "Xiao Chen, you're not allowed to use the ring again until after your Martial Soul Awakening," she commanded firmly.

Dugu Xin nodded in agreement. "Your mother's right. You can't risk your health at this crucial moment. It may affect your Martial Soul awakening if you damage your Spiritual Power by any chance."

Dugu Chen reluctantly nodded, though a hint of disappointment showed on his face. Noticing this, Dugu Bo smiled and interjected, "Don't be too disheartened, Chen'er. You can try to quickly take out a few books from the ring each day. Reading them will help you better understand what Mu Qingqiu was saying in her letter."

Dugu Chen brightened at the suggestion. "Alright, Grandpa. I'll do as you say."

"Father, you shouldn't spoil Xiao Chen too much." Mo Ying protested softly from the side. Even though Dugu Bo always regarded her as his own daughter, she didn't dare to go against his wishes outright.

Understanding that Mo Ying was only concerned about Dugu Chen's well-being, Dugu Bo offered her a reassuring smile and said, "Don't worry. Chen'er will only use his Spiritual Power to quickly take out a few books from the Storage Ring, and I'll be there to supervise him every time. Isn't that right, Chen'er?"

Dugu Chen agreed without any hesitation.

For the next few months leading up to his sixth birthday, apart from training his body and playing with his little sister, Dugu Chen spent the rest of his time mostly reading the books left by Mu Qingqiu.

Initially, he was a bit worried that the books might be written in a different language, given that Mu Qingqiu wasn't from Douluo Planet. However, as soon as he opened the first book, he found out they were written in the same language as the Douluo Continent.

He speculated that the Gods in the Divine Realm were likely the reason for such a strange occurrence. After all, what were the chances that two completely different worlds would develop the same language?

He also felt a little dumb after thinking about this matter for a while. After all, if there had been a language barrier, how could his grandfather read the letter Mu Qingqiu wrote on her deathbed?

Anyway, the books opened his eyes to the vast world beyond Douluo Planet. He learned about the Great Qian Empire and the Heaven Cloud Continent, the intricate art of alchemy, and the life of Mu Qingqiu. Slowly but surely, he pieced together the world she came from, that world's cultivation system, her profession, her achievements, and her journey.

Before he even knew it, time passed and his sixth birthday arrived. It was also the day he would undergo Martial Soul Awakening and truly embark upon the path of cultivation.
