Chapter 21: The power

As the next battle began, Kuroshin faced Hikaru while Luna took on Muscle. Kuroshin launched a dark orb infused with a Strength Spell, striking Hikaru and leaving him injured. But Hikaru refused to give up. Using his Speed Spell, he closed the distance and countered with an Ether Blast, successfully hitting Kuroshin.

Meanwhile, Luna and Muscle clashed fiercely. Luna combined her Speed and Strength Spells, delivering rapid punches, but Muscle activated his Shield Spell, blocking her attacks with sheer force. Unfazed, Luna leaped and struck him in the abdomen, stunning him momentarily before delivering a powerful kick from behind.

Kuroshin relentlessly overpowered Hikaru, landing devastating blows. Despite the pain, Hikaru's determination remained unshaken, impressing even Ojiisan. Watching from the sidelines, Luna scoffed, calling Hikaru stupid, before continuing her relentless assault on Muscle. However, her frustration grew, and in her rage, she awakened, unleashing a surge of thunder energy to end the battle swiftly.

Luna sent a barrage of thunderbolts, but Muscle, showing incredible agility, dodged every single strike. With a smirk, he activated his Zero Knuckle, launching Luna through the air and slamming her into a nearby wall with devastating force. The impact left the spectators in shock.

At the same time, Kuroshin, now fully awakened, prepared to end the battle by striking Hikaru with a Dark Slash. Just as the deadly attack was about to land, Hikaru unleashed a massive blue aura, his body glowing with immense power—he had transformed into his Ether Form: Nova Mode.

Not to be outdone, Muscle also awakened, his white aura surging with raw strength. Luna, witnessing the overwhelming power before her, muttered, "You… you're dangerous."

Before she could react, Muscle Speed Spelled forward and delivered a Zero Knuckle at 100% power, enhanced by a Strength Spell. The impact was so destructive that even Ojiisan had to intervene.

"No killing!" Ojiisan commanded, his voice booming through the battlefield.

Muscle's uncontrollable aura burned with intensity, seemingly ready to finish Luna. Just before the final blow, Emi interfered, using a Barrage Shield to stop him. With Luna unable to continue, Ojiisan declared her disqualified for her own safety.

Muscle, now calm, looked at Luna and said, "Always be humble."

With Luna defeated, the final clash between Hikaru and Kuroshin continued. Kuroshin, his spear crackling with dark energy, prepared to strike a killing blow. The others tried to intervene, but Ojiisan reassured them, "Do not interfere."

At that moment, Hikaru vanished in a blur, appearing behind Kuroshin in an instant. He launched a rapid-fire Ether Blast, followed by a Strength-Enhanced Ether Punch. Kuroshin staggered, but Hikaru ended it with an Ether Slash, cutting through the darkness and claiming victory.

Silence filled the training ground. Hikaru had defeated Kuroshin.

As Kuroshin lay on the ground, exhausted, Hikaru extended his hand.

"We are not enemies, Kuroshin," Hikaru said. "The real fight is against the aliens. We shouldn't let our rivalry divide us. Let's fight together."

After a moment of hesitation, Kuroshin grasped Hikaru's hand. The battle had ended—not just with a winner, but with a newfound respect and alliance.

As the tension faded, the group celebrated their efforts, acknowledging each other's strength. Even Luna, though shaken by her loss, remained deep in thought about the sheer power she had witnessed.
