COTE: Expelliarmis… Wait, Why Isn’t It Working?! (MTL)

Chapter 11: Chapter 10: Kazuki's Daily Life

Daily life is boring

I, Kazuki, have gradually gotten used to the rhythm of this world, but I can't deny that everyday life at Shinjuku Gakuen High School is a bit... boring.

With the soul of a 24-year-old, I find it difficult to make friends with the kids in my class. They are too noisy, too childish, and often get excited about things that I don't find interesting at all.

Even so, in order to maintain a normal appearance, I still participate in activities with my classmates.

I'm not very close to anyone, but that seems to only make me more mysterious in their eyes. Especially to one person—Fujimoto Haru, a boy who is curious and nosy beyond necessity.

"You really get picked up and dropped off in a Mercedes GL550 every day?! A chauffeur?! What does your family do?! Do you live in a mansion with hundreds of servants?! Have you ever met famous people?! Do you own a private island?!"

I just shrugged. "It's just a small matter."

My vague answer only made Haru more curious. "No, no, you have to tell me the details! Don't you find these things amazing?!"

I sighed. No, I didn't. But I guess he wouldn't understand if I told him straight out.

Haru wasn't the only one who was curious about me, but he was definitely the most persistent. There was a time when Haru secretly followed me after school, trying to find out where I really lived.

That day, I happened to want to go alone and not ask Hayato to pick me up. Of course, his plan was a disaster because I realized it right away and deliberately cycled him around Tokyo just to test whether he had the patience to follow me.

After an hour, Haru was still stubbornly cycling after me, despite the fact that I deliberately went through countless alleys to lose him. I gritted my teeth and glared back. "Haru, don't you think this is ridiculous?! You've been following me all day! Aren't you tired?!"

Haru, despite being out of breath, still showed a triumphant smile. "Tired! But I'm about to find out your secret! I know your house is definitely not normal!"

I was so angry that stars popped out of my eyes. What was wrong with this guy?! Did he have detective blood in him?! I quickened my pace, but no matter which way I turned, Haru stubbornly followed closely behind me on his bike. This scene continued until I got home.

Haru collapsed, throwing his bike aside. "Kazuki... please... tell me the truth... where is your house...?"

I looked up at the majestic mansion gate in front of me, then looked at Haru who was lying flat on the ground, his eyes filled with the desire to find the truth. I sighed and raised my hands. "Alright, you win. You're too stubborn, I give up."

From then on, Haru became my friend. I could only laugh, there was no other way. Maybe life in this world wasn't so bad... at least there was entertainment.

For example, games. Oh my gosh, I found that Japanese games are really interesting! From role-playing, fighting, strategy to blood-sucking gacha games, I tried them all. There was only one problem... I was terrible at them.

For some reason, even though I had the tactical thinking of a high-level mage, quick calculation ability, and sharp reflexes, every time I touched a game, I was beaten up miserably.

Every time I played a fighting game, I was always the one who got blown away by combos in just a few seconds. Shooting games? Don't mention it.

Before I could aim, I was headshotted by someone hiding somewhere in the corner. In role-playing games, I always invested in the wrong skills, making my character so weak that I was slapped away by the smallest monster.

"What the hell?! Why did I lose?!" I screamed as my character was flattened for the nth time.

Haru—who had beaten me for 10 consecutive matches in a fighting game—calmly replied, "Kazuki, your reflexes are fast, but you don't know how to play games at all. You just click randomly!"

I gritted my teeth. That's unfair! I can calculate hundreds of complex magic algorithms in a second, and yet I can't even win a single match of this damn game?!

Of course, those entertainments also came with their fair share of ridiculous situations, perhaps I was thinking too much about these 'DAMN' games that didn't require me to use my brain.

At least I could do other things and have hobbies like cooking Japanese food. My cooking wasn't too bad, which was a small consolation in my ill-fated gamer life.

But one time when I participated in a cooking class at school, I unconsciously adopted the medicinal processing techniques from the magical world.

When the teacher told the class to make a simple miso soup, I unconsciously activated my "alchemist chef" mode and started chopping the ingredients at the speed of light, causing everyone around me to gape.

Not stopping there, I excitedly sprinkled in some 'Spirit Essence' powder and a few drops of 'Magic Essence'—wait… I was making Japanese-style miso soup on Earth, not concocting a tonic in an alchemy furnace in a magical world! But it was too late…

The result? The soup was glowing suspiciously, and the teacher kept looking at me as if I had just created a biological weapon.

"Ahem… Kazuki, what did you put in the soup?"

I blinked, quickly coming up with an excuse. "Ah, it's nothing. It's just… my family's secret ingredient."

The whole class's eyes widened. "Secret ingredient?!"

A friend exclaimed in admiration. "No wonder! Kazuki's family is so rich, they must use high-end spices that ordinary people never see!"

The teacher narrowed his eyes in suspicion but couldn't refute. "Well... as long as it's safe..."

I breathed a sigh of relief. I was almost done for! Luckily, they thought that all rich people were like that.

And then there was the matter of physical education. When I had to compete in a long-distance race, I forgot that I shouldn't show off too much and accidentally left everyone behind by a full lap.

When I realized that I had run too fast, I pretended to run out of breath halfway and sat down on the ground, pretending to have a "cramp" to hide the truth. But instead of being suspicious, the teacher was so worried that he called the school nurse to check on me.

Not to mention, there was a time when my friends dragged me to the mall to try playing a claw machine. I only intended to try it out a little, but since I had never played this game before. The result? I lost... a lot.

Time and time again, I watched the stuffed animal slip off the claw with bitterness in my heart. "What the hell?! These games are clearly rigged!"

I was so angry that I decided to use a little magic to control the mechanical arm. The first time, I succeeded! The claw gently grabbed the animal and dropped it into the slot.

But then I greedily tried a second time... and disaster struck.

Instead of controlling it as precisely as the first time, my magic went off-key, creating a strange vibration in space. In a flash, all the stuffed animals in the machine turned into... panties.

I was stunned. My friends were stunned. The entire mall was stunned.

Without thinking, I immediately turned around, turning on 'speed escape' mode. I weaved through the crowd at a speed even faster than when I ran a race at school, trying to blend in with the flow of people so that no one could associate me with the 'mysterious panties' incident.

Cold sweat broke out as I heard the security guards talking: "What the hell just happened?! Who did this?!"

I gritted my teeth, trying not to laugh at the absurdity of this incident. Run Kazuki, run now, or you'll become Tokyo's number one pervert!

I swallowed, trying to stay calm. It's okay, Kazuki, just leave quickly, pretend you're not involved...

Finally, after a while of hiding like a professional thief, I escaped the shopping mall safely. Standing from afar, I clenched my fists, my eyes burning with hatred.

"Very well, crane game! You dare to insult me like this?! I'll be back, and next time... I'll win!"

That day, the press reported a shocking strange phenomenon: 123 people in a shopping mall in Tokyo had their underwear lost for no reason as if it had just disappeared, and all of them were found in a crane game.

This incident quickly became an urban legend that spread throughout Tokyo, becoming a joke that people would bring up whenever they talked about weird things.

I couldn't laugh. Every time I heard my friends talking about the 'Evaporating Panties Incident', my heart would bleed.

To others, it was a funny story. To me, it was a slap in the face, a reminder that my success rate in magic was still at 6:4—and that I should definitely practice harder "GRRRRRRRRR".

So I decided to seriously study and research magic at home. But don't get me wrong, it wasn't a smooth learning process. Especially when Hayato—my chauffeur and unwilling victim—had to witness all of my underground experiments.

"Kazuki, I feel like I signed the wrong employment contract..." Hayato sighed as he saw me blow up a corner of the garden just to test out a fire control spell.

"Don't worry, I've got it under control!" I confidently patted my chest, but right after that, a strong gust of wind from my failed magic blew Hayato's suit away, making him look like he had just been through a hurricane.

"Control his head!" Hayato panicked and dodged to the side as I almost turned the chair into a giant frog.

Despite being dragged into countless near-death situations, Hayato patiently helped me practice, or rather, he had no other choice.

After I accidentally moved the refrigerator into the garden, he sighed bitterly: "I became a driver, not to live in a sci-fi survival movie, Kazuki!"

I shrugged. "It was just a small mistake. I'll be more careful next time."

Hayato stared at me. "You've said that thirty-two times already. And each time there's a fire or something disappearing without a trace. I've almost been teleported into nothingness three times this week!"

I laughed bitterly. Hmm… maybe I should really get better at controlling my magic.

Realizing that I wasn't good at many other things, I decided to focus all my attention on transformation magic.

It sounded clever, but in reality… it wasn't much better. If I succeeded, I could create incredibly perfect things—like turning a normal piece of iron into a car engine. But if I failed, the results would be horrifying in unexpected ways.

Like the time I tried to turn a goldfish into a small snake. Did it work? No. Instead, I created a strange and terrifying half-fish, half-chicken creature, which immediately went berserk and pecked at me.

Or the time I tried to turn a wooden chair into a luxurious sofa. The result? Not only did it not turn into a sofa, but it turned into a distorted entity, the chair legs twisted like tentacles, and crawled around the room as if trying to escape fate.

Anyway, I was making progress... at least I hadn't turned myself into a mess (just barely).

One fine day, as I was packing up to leave, a roar echoed throughout the schoolyard, startling everyone and making them look up at the windows. The sound of the exhaust pipe echoed like thunder in the clear sky.

I looked out curiously and immediately felt the corner of my eye twitch. It was a Nissan GTR modified in a sporty style, shiny, aggressive, looking like it had just stepped out of a racing movie. But the problem wasn't the car...

The problem was the driver.

My mother.

A flood of dark memories flooded back. In the magical world, my mother was a sick speed freak who caused countless scandals.

The result? Her driver's license was revoked forever. Yes, forever. And now, she had found something similar in this world—and clearly hadn't given up on that dangerous passion.

I froze in place, while my friends around me started whispering:

"Who's that cool?!"

"This car is so cool! Look at the exhaust sound, it's really cool!"

"Wait... the driver is a woman?! It's even cooler!"

While the crowd was admiring, I had only one thought: How can I sneak away before I'm recognized?!

All eyes were on the car, but a few seconds later, the focus shifted to the woman who had just stepped out of it.

My mother, Reika Kuzunoha.

Long flowing hair, trendy sunglasses, and an outfit that looked like it came straight out of a high fashion show.

She took off her glasses and looked up at the classrooms, smiling confidently. The boys in the school were frozen in place.

"Damn, who is this?! Whose mother looks like a model?!"

"Whose mother is picking up her child in such style?! I thought she was some professional racer!"

"Oh my god, my mother has never looked this cool..."

I, her only son, did not share their feelings. I felt the corners of my eyes twitching, sensing that something terrible was about to happen.

And then, as expected, my mother looked up at the stairs, meeting my gaze.

"KAZUKIIIIII! COME DOWN HERE, DARLING!"

Her voice echoed throughout the schoolyard like an explosion. The classmates around me immediately turned their heads, their eyes filled with curiosity and shock.

Haru looked at me with her mouth wide open. "Wait, don't tell me this is your mother...?"

I clenched my fists, sweat beading on my forehead. It was my mother, but could I pretend I didn't know her?

I slowly backed away, hoping to somehow blend into the wall like a ninja. But no, Haru quickly grabbed my hand, pulling me forward.

"Kazuki, do you know how many people want their mothers to pick them up like this?! Why do you look like you're about to be beheaded?!"

I gritted my teeth. "You don't understand, Haru. This isn't a blessing, it's a curse."

After calling my name at a volume that could be compared to the school's loudspeaker, my mother happily waved her hand. "Hurry up, son! We have an important date!"

My classmates were buzzing, their eyes sparkling with admiration. "Kazuki is probably going to dinner at some 5-star restaurant!"

"Or maybe to a high-end fashion event?!"

I sighed bitterly. No, the reality was much scarier. I knew exactly what this 'important date' was.

It was a high-speed car race with me as an unwilling passenger.

I reluctantly walked down to the school grounds, feeling the admiring and jealous gazes of my friends. Haru patted my shoulder excitedly.

"Go, Kazuki! You're living the dream of so many people!"

Whose dream, not mine! I muttered to myself, trying to keep my face as calm as possible. As I approached the car, my mother opened the passenger door, smiling brightly.

"Get in the car, son! Today is going to be fun!"

I swallowed, carefully sat inside, and immediately fastened my seat belt. The car revved up with great power, causing a few students around to exclaim in excitement. When the car started moving, I turned to my mother, trying to ask in the calmest voice possible:

"Where's Hayato today? Why are you the one picking me up?"

My mother laughed, her face full of excitement. "Oh, Hayato is taking your father to the restaurant first. Today our family has an important meeting with a partner, I'll go with you too!"

Hearing this, I breathed a sigh of relief. At least we won't be racing...

But then the car suddenly accelerated, the roar of the engine made me jump, my hands gripping the seat tightly.

"Mom... you're driving within the speed limit, right...?" I swallowed.

My mother smiled, her eyes never leaving the road ahead. "Of course! I promised your dad I wouldn't break any traffic laws again!"

But seeing the speedometer needle ticking up, I couldn't quite believe it. I bit my lip, keeping my eyes on the rearview mirror to make sure there weren't any police cars following.

"You look nervous, Kazuki?" My mother laughed.

"Not at all! I'm perfectly calm!" I replied, my voice higher than usual.

My mother shrugged, pressing the gas a little harder. I immediately tightened my seatbelt.

Oh my God, someone save me from this woman…

My mother quickly drove me home. As soon as I entered the door, she pointed to my room: "Hurry up, change, we can't be late!"

I sighed, dragging my heavy steps towards my room. A few minutes later, I put on a formal, neat outfit and walked out. My mother had also finished changing, looking no different from a successful businesswoman stepping out of a fashion magazine.

On the way to the restaurant, my mother said while driving: "Kazuki, the partner's son is quite interesting today. You two will be fun to be friends with!"

I frowned. "What kind of interesting?"

My mother smiled meaningfully. "Oh, you'll see."

............

As we entered the restaurant, a staff quickly came forward, bowed politely, and led us to a private room that had been reserved. This restaurant is one of the most luxurious in Tokyo, frequented only by the upper class.

The ceiling is high with gorgeous crystal chandeliers, expensive art paintings are neatly hung on the walls, along with the gentle aroma of wine and exquisite dishes in the air.

I followed my mother into the private room, where my father was already sitting with his partner. When the door opened, I saw my father chatting happily with a family that looked extremely powerful and noble. And then I realized...

That was the Kōenji family.

In front of me was not just an ordinary wealthy family, but one of the leading tycoon families in Japan.

They were the founders and owners of the Kōenji Group, a giant business empire with countless subsidiaries spanning many fields from finance, real estate to technology and medicine.

For someone with a business background like me, this name couldn't be unfamiliar.

I glanced at my father, who was smiling confidently when he saw me appear. "Kazuki, come here. Let me introduce you, this is the Kōenji family, one of our important partners."

I blinked, trying to stay calm under the sharp gazes from this family. Especially their son—Rokusuke Kōenji.

He was extremely outstanding. His figure was tall, his hair was neatly combed, his eyes were full of arrogance, but they also gave off a strange aura—a confidence that made others believe that he actually had the right to be arrogant.

He leaned back in his chair, his hand gently stroked his shiny hair, and then spoke slowly but authoritatively: "Oh ho ho... So you are Kazuki Kuzunoha? Nice to meet you, but you should feel more honored to meet me."

I blinked. Was I overwhelmed by the aura just by walking in?

My mother smiled, pulled out a chair, and sat down, not forgetting to whisper to me: "Looks interesting, right? Try making friends with him, it'll be fun!"

I glanced at my mother, then looked back at Kōenji, who was looking in the mirror to fix his perfect hair. Was it fun? Or was it a headache?

When the door opened, I saw my father sitting there, next to a family I had never seen before. And then I realized...

It was the Kōenji family.

Their son, Rokusuke Kōenji, was extremely striking. He was tall, his hair was neatly combed, his eyes were full of arrogance, but he also exuded a strange aura—a confidence that made others believe that he actually had the right to be arrogant.

He leaned back in his chair, gently stroked his shiny hair, and spoke slowly but authoritatively:

"Oh ho ho... So you are Kazuki Kuzunoha? Nice to meet you, but you should feel more honored to meet me."

I blinked. Was I overwhelmed by the aura just as I entered?

My mother smiled, pulled out a chair, and sat down, not forgetting to whisper to me: "Looks interesting, right? Try making friends with him, it'll be fun!"

I glanced at my mother, then looked back at Kōenji, who was looking in the mirror to fix his perfect hair. Was it fun? Or was it a headache?

That dinner was not just a normal meal, but a real battle of wits between my father and Kōenji's father.

Immediately after ordering, my father and Mr. Kōenji got straight to the point. Mr. Kōenji wanted his group to become the exclusive distributor of Kuzunoha's pharmaceuticals in Japan, emphasizing the influence and vast business network of the Kōenji group. My father, on the other hand, calmly took a sip of wine before gently putting down his glass.

"There's no denying that the Kōenji Group has a huge influence on the Japanese economy," my father said, smiling. "But the problem is that our pharmaceuticals are inherently attractive. Good products will find a market without much support. So why do you think I need an exclusive distributor?"

The atmosphere in the room suddenly became tense. I sat still, trying not to look embarrassed as I watched these two powerful men battle it out.

Mr. Kōenji was unfazed, just smiling confidently. "I don't deny the quality of Mr. Renji's products. But what I bring is not just a distribution channel, but also political and economic security."

"New brands face many problems with legal barriers, but with our support, everything becomes much easier."

My father nodded, as if in agreement, but then leisurely said, "Legal issues? Oh, I don't think I'll have any trouble with that." He took a sip of his wine, his eyes still full of confidence. I swear I saw the corners of his lips twitch up slightly as if he was toying with his opponent.

The room fell silent for a few seconds. I could hear the light clinking of knives and forks on plates from the other tables in the restaurant.

There was only one thought in my head: Damn, are these two playing Go at the dining table?

Rokusuke Kōenji, who had been focused on his perfect hair, finally spoke up. "Oh ho ho! My father has never met anyone who can make him think so much. Mr. Renji is really interesting!"

I glanced at him. I didn't know about his father, but I was about to suffocate from this battle of wits!

Finally, Mr. Kōenji burst out laughing. "Hahaha! Very well, Renji! Then let's discuss a more suitable cooperation plan. If we can't have an exclusive, I still want the Kōenji Group to become your strategic partner."

My father raised his eyebrows, then smiled. "Now we're talking real business."

I breathed a sigh of relief, finally able to pick up my chopsticks without feeling the pressure of being in a life-or-death battle. God, business negotiations are like political swordplay! I'm just a middle school kid, someone save me!

In the end, the dinner ended with the Kōenji Group obtaining the distribution rights to 64% of the pharmaceuticals my family produces. It's not a small number, but it still ensures that we maintain control of the market.

After signing the contract, both families were satisfied, and to further solidify our partnership, they agreed that Rokusuke Kōenji and I should become friends and interact more.

I looked at Kōenji, who was fixing his perfect hair in the mirror.

He tossed his hair, smiling arrogantly. "Oh ho ho! Being my friend is a privilege, Kazuki! Try to cherish it!"

I sighed. Since when did going out to dinner turn into recruiting friends by contract...

And so, according to my family's wishes, Kōenji and I began spending time interacting with each other... even though neither of us really wanted to. But it seemed like he enjoyed it more than I thought.

Kōenji brought me into the world

On the very first day of that summer vacation, Kōenji dragged me on a 'journey to enjoy the high life'.

"Oh ho ho! Kazuki, today I'll enlighten you on what it means to live properly! Let's go!"

Before I could react, he pulled me into a limousine that was waiting in front of the gate.

First destination: a 6-star hotel, where we enjoyed a lavish lunch with dishes that cost as much as a month's salary for an average worker.

Second destination: a high-class spa center. I thought this was a place to relax, but no, Kōenji turned it into a competition to see who could endure the longest in the sauna. I almost fainted.

"Kazuki, you look like a steamed fish! Can't take it anymore? Oh ho ho!"

I glared at him. "I'm not training to become a god of saunas! Are you going to torture me with steam?!"

"Fitness is an important part of noble manners! I can sit here for hours without breaking a sweat!"

I gritted my teeth. Very well, Kōenji, you win... I admit defeat!

"Kazuki, are you that weak? I can sit here for hours without breaking a sweat!"

"Are you a monster?!"

Third destination: a fancy bar—which I doubted we were both old enough to enter.

"Wait, we can't go in! We're both just..."

Kōenji just smiled confidently. "Oh ho ho! Leave this to me."

To my surprise, he walked over, gently adjusted his collar, pulled out a bill, and placed it in the security guard's hand. The guard looked over, nodded, and opened the door.

"Welcome!"

I gasped. "What the hell?! Are you a wizard?!"

"No, I just have the demeanor of a true gentleman!" But Kōenji? All he needed was a confident smile and a small tip for the staff, and the door opened.

"Today we will enjoy the essence of the art of drinking!"

...And then we drank. We drank until my head was spinning and the world was spinning like a whirlwind.

What happened next? I don't remember clearly.

All I remember is someone shouting 'One more round!' before I completely lost consciousness. Then I seemed to climb onto the table, grab the microphone, and sing a touching ballad... or maybe it was my desperate scream when I saw the bill.

All I know is that the next morning, I woke up with a splitting headache in an unfamiliar hotel room. I jumped up in shock, looking around the luxurious room that I had absolutely no memory of booking. The sharp pain in my head made me groan, trying to rummage through my memories of last night.

My phone vibrated, displaying a message from... Kōenji?!

"Oh ho ho! Kazuki, are you awake? I'm having coffee downstairs in the restaurant, come down here now! We have a lot to do today!" No, fortunately, we weren't in the same room.

I staggered out of bed, my head spinning, and found Kōenji standing in the VIP lounge, looking at his hair in the mirror and smiling proudly.

I turned to see Kōenji standing in front of the mirror, looking at his hair and smiling proudly.

"Kazuki, should I call you 'Pharmacy Boy'? Oh ho ho! You don't seem to be able to handle alcohol very well, but compared to the others, you're still a lot better!" Oh ho ho! I had to carry you back!"

I scratched my head. "You...! What did we do yesterday?!"

Kōenji put his hand to his chin, looking thoughtful. "Well... I remember we drank until the bar was almost out of alcohol, then you yelled about world domination, and then someone booked an extra VIP room for us."

"Oh, and I have to admit—your drinking capacity is not bad, Kazuki! Oh ho ho! I didn't expect a gentle-looking kid like you to last this long!" Oh, and I believe you challenged an uncle three times your size to a sumo match."

I was stunned. "Don't tell me I won...?"

"Lost in the first three seconds. But the attitude was great! Oh ho ho!"

"I lost in the first three seconds. I tried to resist, but in the end, I was like a mosquito facing a dragon. 'HAHAHAHA'.

I may be twice as strong as a normal person, but against these extraordinary monsters, I'm no different from a child learning to crawl facing an Olympic athlete.

"Oh ho ho! What a memorable night! Kazuki, today I'll teach you how to drive! I'll turn you from a commoner into a true gentleman, just like me! Oh ho ho!"

"WHAT?!"

After a morning filled with chaos and decisions I would surely regret, Kōenji dragged me on another crazy journey.

After completing a thrilling driving lesson at a private racetrack near the resort, Kōenji excitedly led me to a seaside pool in the high-class hotel we were staying at.

He revealed with a proud look on his face: "Kazuki, this place belongs to my family! Oh ho ho!"

I glanced around—the luxurious pool with crystal clear water, chaise lounges covered in pristine white towels, and waiters walking around with colorful cocktail trays. This lavish scene made me wonder: Just how rich is this family?!

After changing and immersing myself in the cool water, I felt a little relaxed, but that peace didn't last long.

Kōenji picked up his cocktail, took a sip, and smiled mysteriously. "Kazuki, yesterday was just a warm-up. Today we're going to truly enjoy the noble life!"

I frowned. "What are you up to again?"

He didn't reply, just clapped his hands twice. Immediately, the nearby waiters nodded as if they understood the order, and quickly retreated.

A moment later, another group of waiters led extremely beautiful girls in bikinis in. They possessed perfect curves, smooth skin that sparkled under the sunlight, and each step was graceful like goddesses stepping out of a painting.

A few gently stroked their hair, their lips curved into seductive smiles, their eyes flirtatious as if they were ready to turn this party into a paradise of pleasure.

I was speechless, turning to look at Kōenji. "Don't tell me—"

"Oh ho ho! Kazuki, enjoy yourself!" Kōenji stretched out his hand enthusiastically. "A proper pool party needs a beautiful woman to keep you company!"

I gasped, before I could react, one of the girls approached me, smiling seductively. "You're a friend of Kōenji-sama's, right? Pleased to be of service!"

Another girl gently placed her hand on my shoulder, her voice as sweet as honey. "Kazuki-kun, would you like a cocktail? Or should we give you a relaxing massage?"

I felt a chill run down my spine. "I... I don't think so! I'm fine! Absolutely fine!"

Kōenji laughed loudly, waving his hand excitedly. "Oh ho ho! Don't be shy, Kazuki! Enjoy yourself! I've arranged everything to make today a memorable day!"

At Kōenji's urging and the bewitching gazes around me, I reluctantly accepted the cocktail from one of the girls. The gentle aroma wafted out, the cool taste sliding down my throat, surprising me a little—the alcohol in this world was truly something special.

Kōenji raised his glass, smiling contentedly. "Kazuki, let's raise a glass! Today, we'll enjoy ourselves like true gentlemen! Oh ho ho!"

I sighed, clinked glasses with his, and drank again. But then, before I knew it, my glass was refilled again, and the cycle continued.

After drinking quite a bit, my head started to feel lightheaded, while Kōenji showed no signs of being drunk at all. I frowned slightly, trying to stay sober. "Hey, how much alcohol can you really handle...?"

Kōenji laughed out loud, patting me on the shoulder. "Kazuki, a gentleman must always maintain his perfect demeanor, no matter how much he drinks!" He picked up his glass again, then turned to one of the girls. "Come on, let's take good care of him!"

Immediately, I was pulled into the middle of the beauties. One girl wrapped her arms around my neck, her sweet breath blowing into my ear, making me shiver. "Kazuki-kun, you're so cute~. Want us to take better care of you?"

Another girl pressed her soft chest against me, her smooth skin and soft chest combined with her daring bikini made me feel hot all over. "You look a bit tense? Let us help you relax~"

Unexpectedly, among the group of beautiful girls surrounding me, their eyes sparkled with excitement. "Kazuki-kun, help us test who's the better kisser!" a girl spoke up, a charming smile on her lips.

I froze in place, my back cold but my face burning. I wanted to refuse, but the stimulation from the surrounding atmosphere made me hesitate.

Part of me screamed that this was a dangerous situation, but another part urged me to try this out for once.

Wait, what am I thinking?! This is clearly a trap! I tried to stay calm, but when one of the girls gently moved closer, her warm breath blowing against my ear, I felt my brain stop working.

"Kazuki-kun, don't be so nervous~. It's just a little fun!" she whispered, her eyes sparkling with teasing.

I swallowed hard. "I... I think I'm fine! Don't worry about me!"

She suddenly moved closer to kiss me, "yes it was a french kiss", our tongues touching each other made me extremely excited. Her tongue wrapped tightly around mine and continuously stirred inside me, we gave me a long kiss. By the time she separated from me, I could clearly see a trail of saliva between us.

As for why I knew it, there was no need to ask. 'My browsing history is quite extensive, I believe Ehemm'.

Inside, I was screaming in my heart: Why is this happening? Why is my body reacting as if I'm living in a sweet dream, while my mind is filled with anxiety and embarrassment? I tried to defend myself, but every time those inviting lips touched me, I felt like I was melting.

Meanwhile, Kōenji stood beside me, smiling with flawless confidence, as if this was just part of the 'superior' plan he was always proud of.

"Oh ho ho, Kazuki, you're a real 'Kuzunoha the God of Wine'! Let's enjoy this moment!" he said, his voice filled with joy and a hint of teasing.

I told myself: I can't believe myself anymore... Every time I tried to refuse, my mind was overwhelmed by a strange feeling of excitement and confusion.

I felt like I was living in a confrontation between reason and desire, where every gesture, every whisper of theirs was like a temptation that made me forget everything.

Still in a state of confusion, I thought to myself: This is not only an experience, but also a reminder that my life, although seemingly "mature" in my soul, is always torn apart by the fragments of an unfulfilled youth.

And then, in the midst of all that chaos, I knew that there would come a time when I would have to face myself - and perhaps, there would be a time when I would laugh until I cried because of the chaos of these moments.
