DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

In the AF timeline, Uub wasn't actually weaker than Chiyoko; rather, he saw Chiyoko as Goku under the illusion's influence, and the thought of fighting his mentor made him hesitate. This momentary pause was all Chiyoko needed to gain the upper hand.

"Uub!" Trunks shouted, his eyes wide with concern as he watched Uub struggle. Without a second thought, he flew forward with Goten and the others to aid their friend.

Realizing the situation had turned against him, Chiyoko prepared to flee, but Goten lifted his hand, freezing Chiyoko in place with an invisible force.

"Ah!" Chiyoko struggled, his body paralyzed as he stared in horror.

In that instant, Uub's inner spirit surged to life, breaking through the illusion. He let out a fierce roar as a powerful Ki radiated from his body, causing the ground around him to shake violently.

"Uub!" AF Goten and Trunks gasped, feeling the strength in Uub's newfound energy.

Goten lowered his hand, allowing Chiyoko to move once more. Chiyoko briefly sighed in relief, realizing he was free—only to be met by Uub, who charged toward him with newfound strength.

Before Chiyoko could react, Uub's fist connected squarely with his face, sending Chiyoko hurtling back into the mountainside. The impact kicked up a cloud of dust and debris, obscuring the scene.

"Ah!" Uub's voice rose in a furious battle cry as he gathered his Ki, forming a massive energy wave in his hands. With unrestrained force, he released the blast, which crashed into Chiyoko and the mountain behind him with an explosive impact.

The mountain shattered under the power of the explosion, and Chiyoko was no more. Uub, now fully awakened from the illusion, looked around, his eyes clearing as he spotted his friends.

"Goten, Trunks!" he called out, relief spreading across his face.

The two nodded back, pleased to see Uub back to his senses.

Uub looked around, his confusion lingering. "Goten, Trunks… where's Goku?"

"Uub, there is no Goku here," Goten explained, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You were just caught in an illusion."

"An illusion?" Uub echoed, shaking his head to clear the remaining fog from his mind.

Trunks nodded. "Yes, that's why you thought Chiyoko was Goku."

Uub then turned his gaze to the young Goten standing before him. "And who is this?"

In the Dragon Ball AF timeline, Uub had only known Goten as an adult, so he didn't recognize this younger version of him.

Trunks stepped in. "This is Goten, but he's the Goten from another timeline."

"Oh, I see!" Uub replied, a look of realization crossing his face.

Goten looked toward Trunks with a sense of urgency. "Trunks, is my father still in the Kaioshin Realm?"

Trunks nodded solemnly. "Yes, he's there, fighting to contain the negative energy within him."

Goten's expression turned serious. "I want to go see him."

Trunks agreed. "I think my dad should have completed his training by now. We've been preparing to face the Evil Dragon once it's released from Uncle Goku's body."

"Training?" Goten asked, curious.

Trunks explained, "Yes. Uncle Goku's body can no longer bear the negative energy of the Evil Dragon, so we're planning to release it sooner to save his life. But releasing the Evil Dragon will make it even more powerful, so Uub and I have been training to ensure we can handle it when the time comes."

Goten nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Then let's go to the Kaioshin Realm. I can use Instant Teleportation to get us there."

"You know Instant Teleportation?" Trunks asked, his face lighting up with hope.

Goten smiled and nodded. "Yes, it'll only take a moment."

Uub stepped forward, his face resolute. "I'll come with you too."

Goten nodded again, placing his hand on Uub's shoulder as they prepared to teleport. In a flash, they vanished, reappearing moments later in the Kaioshin Realm.

The four of them stood before the astonished Old Kai, who immediately recognized one of them. "Goten!"

AF Goten nodded in acknowledgment. The younger Goten's appearance, however, took Old Kai by surprise.

"Aren't you the young Goten?" he asked, squinting as he tried to make sense of the scene. "Could it be that you're Goten from the past?"

Goten shook his head with a smile. "No, I'm from another parallel universe."

"Parallel universe?" Old Kai repeated, eyes widening in surprise.

Goten nodded again. "Yes. I came here to see what's going on with my dad."

"But how did you come to our timeline?" Old Kai asked, still mystified.

Goten shrugged playfully. "If I said I was just bored and wanted to explore, would you believe me?"

"Not a chance!" Old Kai replied, shaking his head.

"Alright then," Goten chuckled. "Old Kai, do you know the Kaioshin of Time?"

The mention of the Kaioshin of Time seemed to stun Old Kai further. "The… the Kaioshin of Time?" he stammered.

AF Timeline Trunks looked at Goten with curiosity. "Who is this Kaioshin of Time?"

Old Kai explained, "The Kaioshin of Time is a god responsible for managing all timelines."

"But I'm not involved with managing timelines," he added, sounding slightly exasperated.

"So what's your connection with the Kaioshin of Time?" Old Kai asked Goten, still looking for answers.

"We're friends," Goten replied simply.

Old Kai sighed, still struggling to wrap his head around it. "Well, what brings you here?"

Goten's expression turned serious. "I heard from Trunks that my dad's life is hanging by a thread because he sealed the Evil Dragon inside himself."

Old Kai nodded solemnly. "Yes, but this is a matter of our timeline. If you interfere, it could mean changing our timeline."

Goten shrugged, offering a small smile. "But my presence here has already changed your timeline, hasn't it?"

Old Kai opened his mouth to respond, but Goten continued, "Besides, with my strength, I believe I can be of help."

Old Kai looked skeptical. "And what strength do you possess?"

Trunks spoke up. "Goten's actually very powerful. He's already achieved Super Saiyan Five."

The revelation stunned Old Kai, Kibito Kai, and even AF Timeline Vegeta, who had just finished his training nearby. Their eyes widened as they took in this new information.

"You're telling me… that this young Goten has achieved Super Saiyan Five?" Old Kai asked in disbelief, needing confirmation.

Goten nodded, a confident smile on his face.

Old Kai exchanged a glance with AF Timeline Gohan and Vegeta. With a resolute expression, he finally said, "In that case, it's time to release the Evil Dragon sealed within Goku's body."

The group nodded, their determination evident. Each one knew the danger posed by the Evil Dragon, but they were ready to face it together.

Turning to Kibito Kai, Old Kai instructed, "Bring Goku here."

"Yes, elder!" Kibito Kai replied.

A short while later, Kibito Kai returned with Goku, who looked pale and gaunt, his body weakened from years of purifying the negative energy within him. He had lost so much strength that his friends could hardly recognize him.

"Dad!" Goten called out, rushing to his father's side. AF Timeline Goten, Gohan, and even Vegeta looked on with somber expressions, each deeply moved.

Goku's condition brought tears to Gohan's eyes, and even Vegeta's usual stoic expression softened. For years, Goku had silently endured this burden, and now, seeing him so frail, they felt the weight of all he'd sacrificed.

Old Kai spoke up, his tone firm. "Now isn't the time for sorrow. We must focus on defeating the Evil Dragon."

AF Timeline Gohan nodded, wiping away his tears. "Understood, elder."

Old Kai continued, "I will remove the seal on Goku, releasing the seven Evil Dragons. They will scatter to different planets, and then Kibito Kai will take you to confront them."

The group nodded in agreement. This was their best chance to save Goku and Earth from an impending disaster.

With a deep breath, Old Kai chanted the spell, and as the incantation finished, seven red lights burst from Goku's body, shooting off into the sky and scattering across distant planets.
