Chapter 30: Chapter 30: Bat Family Party
Chapter 30: Bat Family Party
————————————————————
Suspicion and conspiracy ignite the flames of war, and Gotham's Dark Knight has another dispute.
The sound of metal clashing was endless, and the two figures kept alternating positions, always looking for weaknesses in their opponents between offense and defense.
The assassin of the League of Assassins stood ten meters away from the two of them, watching the "final battle" between the leader and Batman. The two men in front of them both possess the ultimate human physique and peak fighting skills. No one can be sure who will win.
A stabbing blow left deep scratches on Batman's breastplate. Batman jumped back to distance himself. Ra's al Ghul turned the Emei thorn in his hand and raised his palm towards Batman.
"What's wrong Batman, your concentration is declining, are you tired?"
Two Batarangs flew out, and this was Batman's answer.
The battle is not over yet, but the gap between the two can already be seen. This has nothing to do with ability, but that Batman, as a middle-aged man, cannot keep up with Ra's al Ghul, an old monster who is more than 700 years old.
This is also the reason why Batman lost more than he won against Ra's al Ghul. Ra's al Ghul had soaked in the Lazarus Pit several times, and the strange water kept his body in peak condition.
And this time Ra's al Ghul was different from the one before.
He hated iron and steel and said: "Batman, you have become weak, is it because of Damian? My daughter? Or the stupid kitten? The extra emotions have made you weak, and you are no longer the one I value. The Dark Knight."
The two were fighting together again, and this time Ra's al Ghul still had the heart to speak. Batman felt uneasy, which meant that he had not tried his best.
Batman used his arm blade to jam two Emei thorns, one with a right whip and the other with a left kick, but Ra's al Ghul blocked them all.
"Is this your limit? I've seen enough, Batman, Bruce, I will give you one more chance, surrender to me, and I will grant you eternal life and power!"
Batman remained silent. He smelled the smell of sulfur on Ra's al Ghul.
Seeing no response, Ra's al Ghul shook his head: "Aren't you even willing to give me a perfunctory answer? Batman, you have chosen the path of destruction."
Batman struggled to hold on, and suddenly a communication projection popped up on his right arm armor, and three little heads shrank into a screen.
"Batman, here we come, get out of here, get out of here!"
Ra's al Ghul also heard this conversation, but he didn't understand its meaning. Only Batman noticed that the background of the picture was the cabin of the Batplane, with Nightwing sitting in the middle, and it was not Nightwing who was holding the joystick, but Damian…
"Hand armor removed!"
The arm armor fell off with a sound, and Batman rolled away from Ra's al Ghul, reaching his right hand to his waist.
Ra's al Ghul knew what Batman wanted to do, and with a wave of his left hand, the killers formed a formation to surround Batman.
"Use smoke bombs to escape from the Assassin League's siege. If you are confident that you can do it, please." Ra's al Ghul didn't panic at all.
"I really don't have the confidence."
Batman took out the remaining concealment mine he had used before, and the exposed corners of his mouth slightly raised: "But I'm not using smoke bombs."
The breaking thunder exploded, and sequins were flying all over the sky. Everyone present was stunned for a moment. Ra's al Ghul had a premonition that something bad was going to happen, so he tried hard to scatter these hateful little pieces of paper, but instead, a large number of sequins were stuck on the surface and were wetted by the steam from his breath. On the face.
Batman's figure disappeared among the gold and silver sequins, and the next second, a harsh roar sounded above his head.
"Keep accelerating and the cannonballs will clear the way!"
Under Damian's encouragement, Damian pressed the missile launch button, used the missile to blast a hole in the floor that was large enough for the aircraft to pass through, and flew all the way to the floor where Batman was.
Ra's al Ghul looked up in shock. The ceiling suddenly exploded, and a Batplane hit him head-down. He hurriedly turned sideways to avoid it. When the aircraft was about to hit the ground, Ra's al Ghul saw his grandson through the glass.
"Pull up!" Nightwing pulled the joystick hard.
The Bat Flyer pulled up a slight angle, hit the floor diagonally, and slid forward. The wings on both sides caught the killers and pushed them forward until they hit the wall and stopped.
The hatch opened upwards, and Nightwing jumped out first.
"Ahem, Robin, I will never fly on your plane again."
"Plus one, you don't understand the importance of safe driving at all." Damian nodded in agreement, without any awareness of being a contributor of ideas.
Damian ignored the two men's sarcasm and took out his two swords first: "Batman, I'm here to help you! Where is the enemy?"
The ground was plowed over by the aircraft, and except for Ra's al Ghul, there was no one left standing.
The sequins that had not yet landed were lifted off by the aircraft again, and the gold and silver sequins were flying. Damian vaguely saw an old man with a dark face, who looked very familiar.
"Grandpa?!"
Batman quietly came up behind the three young men and faced Ra's al Ghul. With the sequins flying in the sky, it was like being in a costume party that had just finished the salute.
"Wow, what a dream reunion, Robin, so Batman is fighting with your grandpa, uh, is this a family dispute? I can mediate."
Damian joked and took out the Pokémon detector. The radar on it finally showed the third point besides him and Manaphy.
"Very good, right down there."
Batman glanced at Manaphy on Damian's shoulder. Manaphy was not invisible this time.
"Da…"
As soon as Ra's al Ghul opened his mouth, Damian threw three darts, for fear of being exposed.
"Grandpa, whatever you did in Gotham, please stop it immediately."
Whoosh, three darts pierced Ra's al Ghul's chest, and blood seeped out of his clothes.
Damian was stunned. He didn't aim at all, but Ra's al Ghul didn't even hide. His eyes lost focus for a moment and then regained it.
"Another immature spirit of existence, but so weak…"
Batman calmly pressed the muzzle of Damian's raised gun. Damian frowned aggrievedly. Is it wrong to shoot coldly while the villain was talking nonsense?
"He is no longer human, bullets are useless to him." Batman explained expressionlessly.
Ra's al Ghul casually pulled out the darts on his body, and his wounds recovered instantly.
He said enthusiastically: "Batman is right. I am no longer tortured by the weak human body, and my soul can break away from the shackles of the body at any time. This is all thanks to the gift of the Lord."
Damian said contemptuously: "I guess you missed the word 'human'."
Ra's al Ghul did not shy away from Nightwing's cynicism. He stretched out his hand to his grandson: "Batman can't let go of his attachment to Gotham. You can go back to grandpa. We will bask in the glory of the Lord together, and your mother, we share supreme power and eternal life."
"Grandpa…"
Damian was a little at a loss. He had grown up under the guidance of his grandfather since he was a child. Ra's al Ghul assumed the role of not only a relative but also a leader in his life. He accepted tasks and performed tasks. He habitually wanted to obey.
But he looked back at his partner, his brother, and his father, seeking advice from Batman.
Batman opened his mouth. He wanted to say that everything is up to you, Damian. Unexpectedly, two hands, one on the left and one on the right, pushed him directly in front of Damian. Batman turned to look at Nightwing and the others who were standing at attention. Finally, he obeyed his instinct and hugged his biological son.
Feeling Batman's flustered and awkward embrace, Damian suddenly smiled.
"Don't worry, Batman."
Damian had the courage to face Ra's al Ghul calmly: "I refuse, Grandpa, I don't care about eternal life, because I am still young, and I still want to grow up (grow taller), the supreme power… obey your words Master, can this kind of power be called supreme?"
Hearing his grandson's response, Ra's al Ghul said calmly: "Stupid choice."
Bang bang bang bang!
Without Batman to stop him, Nightwing saw that the atmosphere of fatherly kindness and sonly filial piety had almost reached, and he immediately fired four shots.
Catching four bullets with two fingers, Ra's al Ghul once again confirmed his inhuman physique. He spit out boiling steam and his skin became increasingly red.
"I will take off your heads and offer them to my Lord together with the immature spirits of existence!"
Batman pushed Damian towards Nightwing and the others: "Go underground and end this."
Damian looked at his grandfather who was obviously much stronger: "Can you deal with grandpa alone?"
Nightwing and Batman held him together. Nightwing held Damian's shoulders with both hands: "Believe him."
Bang bang bang bang!
Nightwing emptied the magazine neatly: "He is Batman."
Damian was convinced, and he followed Nightwing to the bottom, leaving Batman to face the crazy Ra's al Ghul alone.
"It was right to let Damian go, Batman, I really don't want the kid to see his father being torn to pieces.
That's cruel."
Batman ignored it indifferently and read the command: "Aircraft, activate lethal force."
[Automatic fire control system activated]
The wings of the "crashed" Bat aircraft spread out on both sides, extending several extended barrels and automatic machine guns, instantly bursting out with astonishing firepower.
Bullets poured down on Ra's al Ghul like a waterfall, and occasionally a few missiles gave him a cleanser. His clothes were quickly burned to pieces, exposing his red flesh.
"Is this what you rely on? A few small machine guns and soft barrels. You know that the firearms can't hurt me."
Ra's al Ghul acted relaxed and content, and when the ammunition was exhausted, he could easily kill Batman.
["Slam" has been loaded]
After an emotionless AI voice, the automatic machine gun stopped firing and retracted the installation robotic arm.
And when Ra's al Ghul put down the arm that protected his eyes, what appeared in front of him was a huge mechanical fist.
Boom!
Ra's al Ghul crashed through the glass and fell to the next floor. Batman stood in the gap. At this time, he was no longer wearing a thin fiber suit, but was replaced by a set of thick slamming armor.
Batman said in a deep voice: "Ra's al Ghul, what I just showed you is the power of human beings. Now it's time for you to understand human wisdom."
Jumping forward, the armor shook up a piece of glass debris when it hit the ground.
"Return what I just said to you," Batman's voice came through the metal helmet, "I told Damian to leave because I didn't want him to see his grandfather being beaten into a disability."
He reached out to grab Ra's al Ghul's head, but suddenly Ra's al Ghul spit out a ball of flame, blocking Batman's sight and taking the opportunity to escape.
But Batman didn't retract his outstretched arm, he grabbed Ra's al Ghul's right leg.
"The flames at this temperature can't help but hit the armor, Ra's al Ghul."
Ra's al Ghul, who failed to escape, wanted to fight back and punched the armor's head, trying to catch him off guard. However, punching the armor seemed cumbersome but actually he moved very quickly. Batman firmly grasped his fist.
"Tell me your plan or I'll break your other hand."
"The other one?"
Before Ra's al Ghul could react, Batman had already twisted his left hand.
"Tell me, now!"
---
The three were blocked in front of the elevator, and several defeated remnants of the Assassin Alliance were lying on the ground nearby.
"Oracle, how long will it take you to unlock the elevator?" Damian asked, his tone laced with impatience. He trusted his father, but no one understood Ra's al Ghul's cruelty better than him, especially now that Lei Xiaogu had gained unknown powers.
Dean was unfazed. "It's Batman. If he can't handle it, the three of us would have been caught by now."
[We're working hard, don't rush me... Damn it, they locked the elevator permissions.]
Nightwing's voice crackled through the comms. "Who can stop your invasion?"
[Physical lock! They smashed the elevator control module, and the elevator is out of service. You'll have to find another way down.]
Dean's uneasy feeling deepened. "What method?"
[Take the stairs, of course.]
Barbara's voice dripped with sarcasm, but she was no fool. "And I suppose they destroyed the stairs too?"
"They destroyed the stairs, which means no one can stop us now. They can only delay us, and their delay is a signal that something bigger is in motion." Dean's face darkened. It was clear that time was running out.
"There's no way we can make it in time," Dean muttered.
Determined to move forward, Dean used Toya Lake's power to pry open the elevator door, disassemble the baffle above, and climb into the elevator shaft.
"Robin, Nightwing, come up," Dean instructed, motioning for them to follow.
He raised his arm and activated the only unlocked wild magic vine from his Omnitrix. As the cylinder popped up, Dean took a deep breath and pressed it down hard.
The transformation was almost instant. Robin and Nightwing only saw a flash of green light before Dean disappeared and was replaced by a one-eyed vine monster.
Damian raised an eyebrow, confused. "The Omnitrix allows transformation? Or is this your true form?"
"Stop talking nonsense," the wild magic vine hissed, its thick, writhing tendrils wrapping around the two of them tightly. "You'd better pray to God."
Damian's confusion grew. "What do you mean?"
"The Omnitrix transformation lasts only 20 seconds. If we don't make it down in time, even God can't save you."
The wild vine monster's voice carried a chilling finality as it picked both Robin and Nightwing down the shaft, its monstrous form advancing with a deadly speed.
