DC HERO AT MARVEL

Chapter 255: Chapter 255 The Dilemma of SHIELD!

"Thor, the God of Thunder?"

Hawkeye didn't try to hide his voice.

His words were overheard by his companions and also reached the ears of the fake Doom.

The fake Doom face darkened slightly.

In fact, he wasn't surprised that Hawkeye knew Thor name his current reaction was simply due to his dislike of hearing that name.

"Who is he?"

"Wait, is he the so-called deity that Wonder Woman encountered for the first time in New Mexico?"

"Wasn't Thor powerless back then? Has he now regained his divine strength?"

"An alien?"

"Why has this so-called deity suddenly appeared?"

The Avengers members exchanged glances, a flurry of thoughts crossing their minds, ultimately focusing their attention on their enemy, the fake Doom.

Undoubtedly, there was a connection between the fake Doom and Thor, the God of Thunder.

The traces of lightning on the ground were evidence of this.

"He came for you."

Hawkeye, with a stern expression, demanded, "Who exactly are you?"

"Me?"

Just as the fake Doom began to smile, a thunderous boom erupted.

Thor, wielding the hammer of the gods, descended from the sky like a meteor crashing to the earth, creating a huge crater and even stirring a visible air current as he landed.

"He my brother!"

Thor answered for the fake Doom, his tone unfriendly: "Loki! This is Loki!"

"Loki?"

"He Loki?!"

The Avengers were still catching up, with only Hawkeye having more insight, quickly recalling previous discussions in New Mexico town of Pandiante with Anton and Coulson.

At that time, the mastermind behind the terrifying iron armor that came near the town, attempting to kill Thor, seemed to be this very trickster god, Loki.

"Brother, long time no see."

The fake Doom, now revealed as Loki, discarded everyone else from his gaze.

The entire assembly of Avengers faded into the background as his eyes locked solely on Thor, who had just appeared.

"Loki, spare me the chatter, where is the Tesseract?"

Thor stared coldly at Loki, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and helplessness.

"I can't believe Odin actually sent you over."

The figure everyone thought was Doom once again shimmered like water, and then transformed into another person entirely.

Loki revealed his true appearance.

He was strikingly handsome, wearing a golden horned helmet and dressed in an elaborate, ancient, and finely crafted robe.

"You have made a grave mistake."

Thor spoke gravely: "Hand over the Tesseract now, tell me where your allies are, and you might still rectify your mistake."

"Rectify?"

Loki scoffed: "I don't need your charity! Besides, I'd appreciate it if you could ignore me and not interfere with my plans."

"Hold on, now is not the time for you two to catch up."

The rest of the Avengers, somewhat on the periphery of the conversation, were clear that under the watchful eyes of all present, this issue needed to be resolved quickly.

Since Loki was not willing to cooperate, they naturally had to take him into custody for detention and interrogation.

Boom! Tony activated his armor, targeting Loki.

Captain America Rogers shared his sentiment, even taking the initiative by leaping behind Loki, grabbing his arm, and slamming his shield into him.

"Hmm?"

Thor stopped him in his tracks.

"Hold on, this is an Asgardian affair, none of your mortal business."

Thor stood firm against Captain America, Steve Rogers, and pulled Loki to his side, only to face an intense onslaught from the other Avengers.

Thor felt an overwhelming pressure.

Boom! With a swing of Mjolnir, he summoned several bolts of lightning from above, repelling the surrounding Avengers.

However, Tony Stark met his attack head-on, blasting Thor away with a high-powered repulsor shot from his palm. Bang!

Thor was sent flying, crashing through a billboard and embedding himself in the wall behind it.

"Heh."

Loki watched with amusement, taking pleasure in Thor misfortune.

Click, click!

Captain America reappeared.

At that moment, he produced a pair of handcuffs and clamped them onto Loki wrists, effectively restraining him.

"You're coming with us now."

After saying this, he turned to Harry: "Get him on the plane."

"Understood."

Harry, on his hoverboard, whisked Loki up to the hovering transport plane.

Boom! Thor, enraged, destroyed the billboard and charged towards Harry.

Bang!

Below, Tony couldn't let Thor interfere with Harry, so he soared up to block Thor path as a formidable obstacle.

The two collided again with a thunderous crash.

Boom! The figures plummeted, and just before hitting the ground, they reacted swiftly, each stomping into the ground creating craters, standing some distance apart but face-to-face.

The Avengers quickly gathered by Tony side, staring coldly at Thor.

Thor frowned slightly, finding the situation tricky.

He wasn't afraid of the Avengers, but he realized that with them in the way, it would be difficult to take Loki today and equally challenging to extract information about the Tesseract and his accomplice from Loki.

"Thor, if our goals align, there no need for confrontation,"

Hawkeye suddenly spoke up: "We could work together."

Thor narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.

After a moment.

Under the watchful eyes of many, they all boarded the transport plane, escorting Loki to the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

Swoosh! The transport plane ascended from Times Square.

The onlookers, having witnessed such a fantastical battle end in such a dramatic manner, were in disbelief.

"Aren't they still fighting? How come they suddenly made up?"

"Who the guy with the hammer?"

"And who was that initial person, Victor Von Doom, then someone else with a horned helmet and ancient robe?"

The crowd exchanged puzzled looks.

Woo-woo-woo! George, along with the New York Police Department, arrived belatedly, just in time to see the transport plane take off.

"Is it over?"

He looked at the significantly damaged Times Square, with its multiple dents and several destroyed billboards, and fell into deep thought.

"Should S.H.I.E.L.D. pay for this?"

The details of this battle, as well as its outcome, quickly spread across the internet.

[Avengers 2.0 Assemble in Full Force]

[Victor Von Doom Suspected of Betrayal]

[Who is the Man with the Hammer?]

These keywords became trending topics.

People called on S.H.I.E.L.D. to reveal the truth promptly.

With the Avengers' actions now in full public view and unable to keep the truth hidden any longer, Maria Hill found herself making excuses, selectively revealing parts of the truth to pacify the public and control the direction of public opinion.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. has been attacked by terrorist forces. Both the Director and Deputy Director, Phil Coulson and Nick Fury, have been seriously injured and are hospitalized. We are currently pursuing the mastermind behind this..."
