Chapter 698: Chapter 672: If you want it, you shall have it

Beiming Wuji walked up to Long Xuxu and helped her to her feet; looking down at her bruised knees, his eyes filled with concern.

“Uncle… you have to stand up for me. Yingsu has been bullying me.” Long Xuxu’s eyes shimmered with unshed tears which provoked such an ache in Beiming Wuji’s heart that he yearned to embrace her intimately.

In a fit of rage, Beiming Wuji raised his hand at Ye Yingsu, but before he could strike, he was stopped by Beiming Han.

“Father, Shushu is no longer a member of the Beiming family! You don’t have the right to hit her!” Beiming Han said coldly.

“By all means, let him hit me! As long as he doesn’t mind the trouble!” Ye Yingsu shot back with a smirk. She didn’t dare to claim that she could shake the Beiming family, but if he did slap her, the Beiming family would surely end up in turmoil!

Now, she was no longer the little girl who could be bullied and beaten by anyone in the Beiming family.

Beiming Wuji dropped his arm in annoyance and pointed at Beiming Han saying, “Xuxu is your fiancée, can you just sit back and let another woman bully her? Are you even a man?”

“Please make it clear… to Han, she is the other woman!” Ye Yingsu smiled sweetly and entwined her arm with Beiming Han’s.

Beiming Han pulled his arm away and said, “You should go visit Grandpa, I will go home.”

“Good, come back early.” Ye Yingsu responded with a radiant smile.

Beiming Wuji was infuriated by his indifference and Ye Yingsu’s audacity, they both completely disregarded his authority.

Fuming with anger, Beiming Wuji turned green and Long Xuxu was gritting her teeth in hatred. She wished she could tear Ye Yingsu into pieces.

Ye Yingsu looked at Long Xuxu disdainfully and strutted towards the elevator in her high heels, while Beiming Han turned and walked outside.

After getting into the car, a flash of silence passed through his eyes. Who was that figure lurking outside?

From the silhouette, it was a tall, agile man. The only reason he hadn’t given chase was because he knew he wouldn’t catch him.

The man was very strong!!

Who on earth was he, and who was he observing?

Beiming Han was certain it wasn’t him. So, was it Beiming Wuji, Long Xuxu, or Ye Yingsu?

Beiming Han closed his eyes. He felt strangely familiar with the figure’s silhouette… but he couldn’t remember who it was…

Beiming Wuji helped Long Xuxu into the car. Once inside, he immediately placed her leg onto his. Looking at that beautiful knee which turned discolored due to the bruise, his face turned very grim.

“Uncle, that Ye Yingsu is utterly out of line! Who does she think she is!” Long Xuxu sat in his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“I know, I will devise a plan to take revenge for you. Remember, don’t feel wronged.” As soon as Beiming Wuji held her, he felt stirred and completely lost control of himself.

By the time Beiming Han returned to the apartment, Gu Qingxin was already asleep. She was probably exhausted from the day’s shoot. As she slept soundly, the soft light fell on her face. Beiming Han, watching her, felt a tranquility in his heart that he had never experienced before.

After taking a shower and discarding his robe, he slid under the covers.

Embracing her in his arms, Gu Qingxin mumbled, “You’re back.”
