Destroying My Own World

Chapter 300: Whiteness.

"The storm is brewing even fiercer than before," Amaryllis said the moment Sasha approached her. "The way it expanding, it feels like the storm is trying to get rid of us or to take over Mykel's body," she added.

"We should keep the storm at bay. I don't know what would happen if the storm managed to leave Mykel's body. Honestly, I don't want to imagine it," Sasha responded and looked at Mykel who was still asleep.

"Me neither, and we will make it stop once Mykel is awake," Amaryllis nodded in agreement and then went back to check on Mykel's condition.

Elena hadn't moved her legs since she let Mykel rest on her lap, and she was slowly giving her life energy into Mykel's soul. She didn't know how much she had given since she gave enough of it while she could replenish it at the same time.

The storm was getting closer and closer to where they were, and they couldn't ignore the pressure that kept bugging them. Fortunately, Mykel had woken up and he was ready to go and get rid of the storm after knowing Elena fed him and satiated his hunger while he was unconscious.

"What's the plan that you have prepared?" Mykel asked Amaryllis as he smoked his cigarette.

"I haven't done it, but I want you to let me get inside," Amaryllis answered as she stood right in front of Mykel. "Since both you and that entity are the same, I thought it would be best if I could understand the power better," she explained and stared into Mykel's eyes.

Mykel didn't say anything and offered his left hand to Amaryllis because he knew it would be best to let her know everything about him from the inside out. It didn't take a while for Amaryllis to analyze the power and the fact that she managed to suppress Mykel's hunger by manipulating it.

"This is good enough," Amaryllis removed her hands from Mykel's left hand. "With this, I can manipulate the hostility of the storm and we should be able to use it to our advantage. Whether it will guide us or do us no harm," she explained as she looked at them.

"That's it?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised and was a bit underwhelmed by the plan.

"That's my job which is to prevent the storm from disturbing us. On the other hand, Sasha will be the one who will weaken the entity with her power. With that being said, you and Elena will be the ones who have to distract it," Amaryllis explained. "This plan is so simple, but sometimes a simple plan is what we need," she pointed out.

Mykel didn't complain about the plan knowing the entity he fought against was straightforward. It didn't use any trick to fight him, only pure strength and showing who was the strongest.

"That's a good plan," Mykel nodded his head in agreement. "As long as we are stuck together inside the storm, that's what matters," he pointed out.

They all nodded in agreement.

"Let's go," Mykel said as he cracked his knuckles.

The four of them walked toward the storm, and the moment Mykel entered the storm, the storm was sucked into his body. The others didn't know about that, and they were surprised when the abyss accepted Mykel.

"Now this happens, he's coming," Mykel said as he looked at the distance.

The storm became fierce and it started to move as fast as the speed of light. Mykel couldn't control the abyss as well and how it started to attack him even as if the entity started to take control over the abyss. If it wasn't for Amaryllis, they would have died the moment the storm circled at the speed of light. The abyss didn't touch them at all and ignored them like they didn't exist.

When they were too overwhelmed by how fast the storm was, Sasha noticed something was right in front of her. She knew it was already too late for her to dodge it, and when she was prepared to get attacked, Mykel and Elena appeared right in front of her. She watched those two push the entity away from her and then send it far away from her.

The storm was acting weirdly that Amaryllis almost lost control over it and they were getting pushed and cut by it. She was trying to not manipulate the abyss too much since the entity might notice that they weren't affected by the abyss. On the other hand, she didn't want to make it too obvious since both Elena and Mykel were going against the abyss.

"Don't just stand there, it's time for you to make a move as well," Amaryllis looked at Sasha who was still stunned by what had just happened. "I don't know how long Elena and Mykel can withstand the storm, we need to make every second count," she added as she grabbed Sasha's hand.

Sasha nodded with understanding and followed where Elena and Mykel went.

They both were following Elena's life energy that she left behind so they could track her whereabouts. They didn't know how far they were from Mykel and Elena, but they knew for sure that those two were fighting the entity since the storm started to pulsate again.

"I don't if we should get any closer," Sasha looked at Amaryllis. "We both might die, and I think I can do it from here," she said.

"Then do it. I'll protect you," Amaryllis nodded with understanding as she kept manipulating the storm around them.

Sasha radiated her surroundings with the light that came out of her body. The abyss was going toward her and targeted her so they could devour her body. She then created a barrier and let the light seep into the abyss and moved around from the inside.

She could see the connection of the storm and she started to track the source of the abyss which was the entity itself. The storm was getting slowed the moment it got affected by her power, and the entity noticed that as well. But since Mykel and Elena were fighting the entity, he couldn't do but focus on those two first.

Mykel stomped the ground and the storm suddenly stopped moving and the abyss floated on the spot. He noticed that the abyss had been taken over by Sasha and he could control it thanks to her. He then turned them into a sword, a massive pitch-black sword in his left hand and it released a strong aura on it.

"It's been a while since I used a weapon," Mykel said as he stared at the dark figure.

Mykel swung the sword and the storm was cut in half in the blink of an eye. The figure was cut in half as well, but since it had no physical body, it didn't affect the figure at all. But, that attack was enough to suck the power within the figure and became one with the sword.

The figure was floating in the air, and suddenly Elena appeared right above him. She punched the figure's head with her fist which had been covered with the abyss. It was so powerful that the shockwave almost dispersed the storm. Not only that, the figure was affected by the punch because the abyss that covered her fist was denser than its own existence.

Elena also did the same thing by gathering the abyss that she had imbued with her life energy. With each punch that she did, it scraped the power within the dark figure and took it away. It also protected her from the storm since the more it devoured the abyss, the denser it became, making her punch more devastating.

The two of them overpowered the entity and the storm had been slowly taken over by Amaryllis and Sasha. When the storm had changed sides, Sasha shackled the entity with the light, making him unable to use his power. It was as Mykel said that the entity was brainless, powerful, and yet so easy to read like a beast.

Amaryllis and Sasha made the entity weak from the inside while Elena and Mykel took power with force. It was too easy to be true, but that was how it was and the entity was losing its ability to control the storm.

"It's time for you to finish him off," Elena said after she threw a final blow right on the entity's chest while he was on his knees.

Mykel walked toward the entity and looked at it for a moment, but then he put his hand on the entity's head as he released the abyss inside him. He devoured the entity and the storm, and his insatiable hunger started to kick in again, but it he still could hold it in and suppress it.

The moment the storm disappeared, a whirlpool rose from the ground and it created a tube up high. It was so powerful that the four of them couldn't fight it off when they were being sucked into it. Their bodies started to spaghettification and got into the whirlpool.

They had no idea how long they were drowned into the whirlpool unable to move their bodies, but the moment they could move their bodies, they noticed that they had arrived or at least reached the bottom of it. They opened their eyes and saw nothing but whiteness that was so blinding.

"Where are we?" Elena asked as she was on guard and looked at her surroundings.

Before anyone could say anything, they heard a loud ticking sound that was enough to make them lose their powers. Another ticking sound was heard and they all lost their strength. The third ticking sound was when they saw a being holding an hourglass, a woman in a white dress that covered her face and body where the dress was one with the ground.

"I have been waiting," the woman said.
