[You've seen it. Now he can hear you.

You've touched it. Now he can see you.

Never ring it. If you hear it, he can touch you.]

The note is very worn. The handwriting on the note is also crooked; it seems that the person who wrote it was very scared. But now it's not just the person who wrote the note who is afraid; even Vale himself, after reading it, couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.

"It's creepy." Vale frowned and grunted softly.

[=====]

The viewers in the stream were also frightened, and now they were frantically posting in the chat:

"This is the note that was found together in the file, right? This is so scary!"

"Holy sh*t! I'm getting goosebumps!"

"My God, I'm not curious anymore! Vale, don't touch the bell!"

"Never shake it; if you hear it, it can touch you... This s*t is so exciting!"

[=====]

Vale didn't mess with the note. He looked at it for a while, then stood up again.

"Everyone, it seems that as long as you don't move this thing, you will be fine…" As Vale said this, he turned his head and looked around again.

The entire chamber was empty, except for the stand for the cowbell and the hole in the wall. Oh, and there's a camera on the ceiling, but it's dark and there's no flashing light; who knows if it is still running.

"You can call the others to come in!" Vale whispered.

Then he walked toward the door of the Foundation room. But just as he took a step, he suddenly felt a strong sense that something was wrong.

"Um?" Vale was stunned for a moment; he looked at his only remaining arm and found that some fine hairs stood up unconsciously.

"Wait... something's around." Vale let out a low shout immediately!

He quickly looked around—front, back, ceiling, and even the outside of the hole in the wall—all carefully examined, but there was nothing there. Still, the feeling of discomfort in his body grew stronger.

"Everyone, there are some things here; I feel like I'm being targeted by something," Vale said anxiously. His eyes were about to burst open, but he couldn't see anything.

"Damn…" Vale broke into a cold sweat.

It felt as if he were being stared at by something at that moment—eerie, like a snake—but he couldn't locate it. This feeling of being watched was extremely tormenting.

It might be because of the procedure that his perception was so sharp, but no matter what, he was sure there was something in the room. That thing was quite extraordinary and might not be seen with the naked eye.

As time passed, a drop of cold sweat slipped from Vale's forehead and dripped onto the ground. Vale's mind was extremely tense; it was hard to imagine the feeling without experiencing it personally. Not everyone can endure the torment of being watched by a mysterious being without knowing where it is!

Finally, after persisting for a few more seconds, Vale couldn't hold back any longer and roared fiercely: "Damnit, come out and challenge me."

But the empty room only echoed with Vale's roar, and nothing appeared.

"Damn..." Vale was sweating even more.

He quickly looked around and then at the platform next to him. The huge cowbell on it was fixed in the transparent gel, motionless.

"I didn't touch this thing, and it didn't make any noise... But what the hell is this?!"

[=====]

The viewers in the stream were startled:

"What the h*ll is going on?"

"Vale seems to feel something staring at him in the room but can't see it..."

"This is scary!"

"Wow, I can't imagine that feeling!"

"We can't imagine it; I'm afraid only Vale can feel it in the game. After all, Vale has been improved, so his perception is strong."

"Could it be some kind of SCP?"

"So dreadful!"

[=====]

The discussion in the stream chat was buzzing, but Vale couldn't hold on anymore. He gritted his teeth and ran toward the gate. But just as he took a step, he felt like he bumped into something. Because the collision was too sudden, Vale didn't control himself well and fell backward.

Vale just happened to land on the platform, and the transparent gel on it also trembled violently from the impact. The cowbell in it shook immediately.

Ding-!

An eerie cowbell rang.

"F*k, sht, sh*t!" Vale sat on the ground, frightened by the sudden change.

He got up quickly and, with a pale face, looked at the cowbell: "Damn it! Everyone... that's what I just heard when I bumped into something just now. There is something in this room."

[=====]

The viewers in the stream were also shocked by the sudden change; everyone was madly posting in the chat:

"Damn, I saw it! Vale seemed to have hit something and suddenly fell backward!"

"Whoa-!"

"Really?!"

"That's right! Vale bumped into that platform, hitting the bell!"

"It's over, it's over!"

"Vale, do you see anything now? Is there anything strange??"

"Did Vale see anything just now? There's nothing in the room!"

"Damn it! The game is haunted!"

[=====]

Looking at the chat, Vale's face turned even paler. He swallowed his saliva first, then, with his remaining arm, touched the place where he just hit something in front of him. But he felt nothing.

"There's nothing..." Vale murmured.

He remembered very clearly that he just hit something before he fell, but there was nothing in front of him.

"Damn! Is it haunted?" At this moment, Vale panicked.

And he didn't know if it was because he heard the sound of the cowbell, but he began to feel frightened. He swallowed a mouthful of saliva, then, without any further ado, Vale walked toward the door of the room again. This time, it went more smoothly.

Vale came to the door of the room unimpeded. When he got there, he stopped and looked back at the room. The room was still empty, but the feeling of being watched was still there. It was as if some ghost was hiding in this room, staring at him, waiting for an opportunity to move.

Besides, Vale didn't know if it was because he heard the sound of the cowbell, but he felt as though there was another gaze on him. This situation made him shiver.

"Sh*t..." Vale cursed silently, then quickly walked out of the room and went to the small room outside. He opened the metal door leading to the passage of the Tesla Gate.

Brit outside the door was waiting anxiously. When the metal door suddenly opened and they saw Vale behind it, their tense minds suddenly loosened. But then, they discovered that Vale's face was very strange; it was as white as snow. It seemed he was frightened by something!

"Vale... what's wrong with you?" Brit was surprised.

Vale's expression was terrible. Could it be that something happened?

Vale exhaled slightly, looked at the few people in a panic, and then said solemnly: "There's stuff... this game is haunted."
