Chapter 242: The Annoying Blob of Flesh[Bonus chapter]
This badge of an Eye in Watch Eye's hand was handed over to him by the Magistri.
This was, in fact, the Control badge of the Veined Tower.
Cuban was the highest demon in Springtown. Naturally, this meant that all strategic points in the place were now under his jurisdiction.
Naturally, he would only put those who were trusted by his own blood in such locations.
It was for this reason that Watch Eye was stationed here.
After all, he had incredible leadership qualities.
This badge, which represented the Control of the tower, was actually alive.
At night, while he rested, Watch Eye could hear the subtle voice from the badge; it called to him for freedom, like the cries of a child to their mother for food.
Yes, this badge was the soul of the Hell beast.
This badge also had another function aside from control, and that was in moments when there was an enemy whose power was too overwhelming.
From the moment Lenny tortured him in the most embracing of ways by stuffing his Ass with sharp Pincers, Watch Eye developed a certain deep hatred for him.
All he had wanted was for Lenny to make the sacrifice and allow himself to become a lab rat for them to plot their escape, but Lenny was the thorn that pricked hard at his flesh.
The town was already being destroyed anyway.
With this and his hatred as his defining excuse, he crushed the Badge in his hand.
The moment he did, the pieces of the badge turned into light particles and rushed into his body.
Lenny, on the other hand, was advancing towards the tower.
The demon soldiers naturally would not let this happen, and they rushed for him.
However, they were just too weak. It was akin to five-year-olds trying to stop a big, buff man with little drumsticks. Barely a show of strength was enough to crush them like the bugs they were before his eyes.
A beautiful wave of his sword cut through them like a Hot knife going through Cheese.
Whether it was their armor, muscle, or bone, it was all cut through.
Limbs rushed into the air like a child throwing his Lego toys in a fit of rage.
Lenny did not care, and his advance for even a slight second was not at all interrupted.
Not even for a bit.
He advanced steadily, and anytime an unfortunate soldier would walk in front of him, he would wave his sword, cutting the soldier like a chef cutting through Tofu.
Lenny displayed incredible skill with his cuts. No matter the amount of blood that went into the air, not even a drop fell on him.
It was obvious that Watch Eye had taught these demons well. They changed attacking formations again and again, all of which were obviously to counter Lenny's advance.
However, even power comes in different forms.
Against the pure focus of incredible strength and magic energy, displaying Lenny's superiority of rank, these demons were useless in their formations.
Besides, the methods that they used were primitive at best before Lenny's eyes.
Not counting his short time in a military that had incredible advancements in military warfare, even the video games on tactics and warfare in his former life had better strategies than the ones that Watch Eye was able to come up with.
Lenny could not help but think of how frightening Watch Eye would have been if he had been born in his former world.
However, here, he found loopholes in their formation like a dog easily sniffing out cocaine in an Airport Station in Lenny's former world.
Just as Lenny waved his Katana to kill the last of the demons Obstructing his path, he suddenly felt a wave of Danger wash over him.
It had come from the back of his neck all the way to his ankle.
Lenny's blade was about to land on the body of the demon.
However, if he did, his senses told him that death was assured.
His gift of Profession told him that the demon's life before him was nowhere near worth his own.
Instantly, he seemed to faintly Phase from where he was.
Luckily, he did it in time too.
*SLAP!*
It was a giant Slap that had landed where Lenny previously stood.
However, this slap had not been done with hands.
Lenny had moved in time. His eyes looked at his former position.
Everything in that Area, including the demon that he wanted to kill, had been crushed to dust and paste under a giant, Messy blob of flesh.
It looked like a palm. However, it was only the five digits that held a slight resemblance to those of a human hand that once did.
The rest looked like spoilt Lasagna, mixed with enlarged molds of chopped Sausages that Lenny was sure were veins.
After all, they looked just like the one on the body of the Veined Tower.
Lenny frowned at this.
Even to him, it was disgusting. His eyes subconsciously traced the Blob of flesh to the main body.
And there it was.
Watch Eye had become a 50-meter giant of messily put-together disgust and rotten flesh.
His face was no longer recognizable, and even his body had become something entirely different.
It was as if his likeness was molded by a terrible artist using feces and then sprinkled with Spaghetti Strings as decoration.
His body was as red as the tower.
In the center of his terrible-looking forehead, there was an inverted third Eye.
Watch Eye raised a hand again and slammed it down on Lenny.
However, Lenny easily dodged using the same Technique.
This was an assassin movement technique that left afterimages in places that he had been.
Lenny looked at the Blob of flesh that Watch Eye had become and frowned.
He used Surveyor on it.
The statistics, except for speed, all came out as question marks.
Lenny knew what this meant. This monster was currently far beyond his strength level.
