It wasn't the first time Shen Yu felt like he was a God since, technically, he already was one. Not just from his ridiculous powers, but also because he was the son of an Outer God.

His blood and flesh carried the essence of a God.

He relished those amazing moments for a second before getting to work. He had a lot of design work to do and it would take time. But that was fine.

He was a fan of Minecraft in his previous life and was also a construction worker. Designing and constructing things was in his blood.

Shen Yu smiled and began to make minor changes to the Island without actually destroying the ecosystem. He could do it instantly, but where's the fun in that?

'Let's see. First point is how deep I want to go!'

This world was slightly different from Earth and it didn't have magma until much deeper, so he had lots of land to spare. Though, he did make sure that the base of the dungeon was just above the magma layer.

The dungeon walls will protect it anyway.

After that was out of the question, he made the base perfect. It was made from the bedrock, once again taking inspiration from his past life.

He made it so strong that it couldn't be broken even by those Tier 10 Spiritual Creatures, let alone weaker ones.

Bedrock served as the foundation of the Dungeon, spreading over thousands of kilometres underneath the Island and disconnecting it from the magma below.

Then, Shen Yu hollowed out the lowest part of the island, which was filled with different types of minerals and many other things.

Shen Yu was surprised to find crude oil there, and what was even more surprising was that it contained dense Qi essence in it.

'Dayum! Qi-powered petroleum and diesel will go hard! Time to extract it...'

Shen Yu clicked his fingers and made a similar island somewhere far away in the ocean and began to shift the minerals and other things buried deep.

He also extracted all the crude oil and placed it in a different part of that Island. He had a few ideas for it...

'Wait! I just got a wonderful idea!'

[I'm all ears.]

'You don't have ears in this form though?'

[I have many things in this form, Master~]

'Haha! Well, I was thinking of making a different continent separated from this side of the world and letting modernization take over it.'

[You want to make an urban Cultivation world?]

'No harm in trying it! If it turns out to be good then we can take this side of the world to that level too. Personally, I like this one, but if modernization is better for the people, I don't mind doing that.'

[Sounds like a wonderful plan, not gonna lie. I'll help you with that, though I'll just make a new world for you to mess around with. This world still has its rules and shit after all. You can mess around with them too, but I doubt you will.]

'Sure!'

Shen Yu didn't have any problems with that as he was just trying out some random idea.

He actually doubted there would be a major improvement in the living conditions of the people than he was already planning to give to this side of the people.

After all, it wasn't like the Xianxia world lacked creativity or resources. Most of the time, they either didn't need the modern things he knew or they simply didn't have time for that.

Many people went into closed Cultivation for decades, so how would they create something?

There was also one more thing he had come to realise as to why the Xianxia world didn't develop further to the level of the modern world.

Aside from the previous points, he had also realised that Immortals—or rather the higher realm Cultivators—were also the problem leading to the stagnation of development.

They wouldn't create anything, as they would always be busy with their Cultivation, and there was also the fact that they didn't really need most of the modern stuff.

And if mortals tried to create something, then it might mean going against those higher realm Cultivators.

For example, only higher realm Cultivators could fly when they reached the Core Formation Realm. They worked so hard for that, and then if they saw mortals doing the same, they might get infuriated and destroy everything.

Not to mention there were many things similar to modern world in the Xianxia world already, just with different technology.

It was just a guess, though, so Shen Yu didn't ponder over it for long.

He focused his attention back on the Island and finally made the last layer of the bedrock. Then he stopped, wondering how many floors should be added in the dungeon.

'100 should be good enough so every regular floor, the Tier of Monsters' strength would begin to change as well.'

[Every 10 floors, they can find bosses which will be a realm higher than them and powerful ones too. We can also make the Dungeon in a pyramid shape so every floor would be bigger than the previous one.]

'The last one would be bigger than a continent... well, that reminds me. I need to strengthen the walls of the dungeon too. Wait! I'll just make a pyramid and do the flooring system later.'

Shen Yu was going through many thoughts while creating the dungeon. Sometimes he would get a better idea and destroy the things he had created, and sometimes he had to add more to make it better.

That was the reason he was doing all of this manually instead of just clicking his fingers and being done with it.

It was fun.

Finally, he decided on the main structure of the dungeon and emptied the land and other stuff below the Island. That meant the Island had barely anything below it to support such a mass.

It shuddered as if a heavy earthquake had hit it before stabilizing again.

Shen Yu wiped his imaginary sweat from his forehead and thought.

'Phew! That was close. I almost dropped it!'

Now, he was making the structure beneath it with one hand and holding the Island with the other.

The other three could only stand and watch Shen Yu do something they couldn't understand. But it was fine, as they got a clue when there was an earthquake on the Island.

They almost lost their control over Qi and dropped from the high air because of that.

'Master is holding the whole Island in his hand while making the dungeon beneath it? What the hell?'
