Douluo Dalu: An Uchiha Traveler

The six of them finally arrive at the schoolyard, just as Oscar said. However Flender the scammers has yet to arrive. Meanwhile Dai Mubai and the fat guy are already standing on the field, waiting for Flender. Their faces, which were previously covered in soot are now clean as usual but their gazes toward Su Fan remain hostile. Seeing their stares Su Fan only smiles mockingly.

"What are you looking at, loser?"

"Hmph!"

Dai Mubai shifts his gaze away from Su Fan, afraid that he might lose control of his anger if he keeps looking at him. Meanwhile, the fat guy is staring at the girls behind Su Fan. Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu cling to Su Fan's arms, competing for his attention, while Zhu Zhuqing stands calmly beside him, stealing glances time to times. The fat guy is stunned by this sight and approaches Oscar and whisper at him.

"Hey, Oscar, are all those girls his?"

Even though he whispers, Oscar, Tang San, and Dai Mubai hear him clearly. His comment provokes their anger, and they all smack his head.

"Why are you guys hitting me?!"

The fat guylooks at them with a wronged expression. Dai Mubai, in a low but angry tone, says,

"You wouldn't die if you just kept your mouth shut!"

Not long after Flender the head of the academy appears in the distance. Everyone quickly lines up neatly. Su Fan stands in the middle, acting as a divider between the boys and the girls. Flender observes them for a moment. Dai Mubai, Tang San, Oscar, and the chubby one look at Flender with respect. However Su Fan does not take Flender seriously. Among the girls only Zhu Zhuqing pays attention to Flender while Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong don't seem to care about him at all.

'These kids attitudes need to be fixed. But before that...'

"This year is not bad. We have gained five little monsters. I am Flender, the head of Shrek Academy. On behalf of the academy, I welcome you all. Later, you will each hand over one hundred gold coins to Teacher Li at the finance department."

Flender then shifts his focus to Su Fan. He walks closer and stares at him sharply. Su Fan's face remains indifferent as if he doesn't care about Flender's thoughts.

"In the world of spirit masters, teamwork is inevitable. Therefore, knowing your teammates is important. Su Fan, name all your comrades here."

Flender knows that Su Fan does not know everyone's names since they haven't even introduced themselves. After this, he plans to bring up Su Fan staying in the girls' dormitory and embarrass him. Flender deliberately sets this up to trap Su Fan and teach him a lesson.

"Loser, fat loser, sausage seller, Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong."

Everyone is shocked by Su Fan's answer. They know that Su Fan is aware of Dai Mubai's name, yet he still calls him a loser right in front of Flender. Even Flender is surprised and did not expect such a response.

"Are you doing this on purpose?"

"I'm too busy to care about what you think."

The atmosphere instantly falls silent. The students open their mouths in shock at Su Fan's reply.

"This is an academy that I built, not a place where you can do as you please! If this were military training, your head would have already been chopped off!"

"Are you deaf? I don't care about your academy or the military you're talking about. If it weren't for Tang San, Xiao Wu and I wouldn't have bothered enrolling here."

Flender has already realized Tang San's identity as the person who bought a special stone from his shop yesterday and also the disciple of his best friend Yu Xiaogang. He glances at Tang San, who is scratching his head awkwardly.

"If you have a problem with me here then I won't stay here. Xiao Wu, let's go."

Without hesitation, Su Fan starts walking toward the dormitory. Xiao Wu happily clings to his arm and walks with him. Seeing this, Tang San instantly breaks out in a cold sweat. If he lets them leave, this might be the last time he ever sees Xiao Wu.

'No! I can't let this happen!'

Tang San rushes after them and grabs Su Fan's arm before he gets too far.

"Su Fan, please calm down a little. The headmaster is only testing you because he wants the best for you."

"Tang San, I am not a patient person. I can tolerate all the shortcomings of this academy, but if he tries to control me, he has already crossed my bottom line."

"Then let me talk to Headmaster Flender for a moment."

Tang San walks toward Flender and starts speaking with him. Flender appears angry several times before Tang San hands him a piece of paper and whispers something to him. Flender is taken aback, as if Tang San has just threatened him. After a moment of silence, he sighs and nods at Tang San before turning back to Su Fan.

"Su Fan, I have spoken with Headmaster Flender. He promises not to restrict you two."

"Tang San, let me tell you one thing. If this academy disappoints me even once more, don't blame me and Xiao Wu for leaving without telling you."

Hearing Su Fan's serious threat, Tang San swallows nervously but nods in understanding. Without realizing it, Xiao Wu is already glaring at him furiously.

'Tang San, you bastard! We were so close to leaving together and getting rid of that annoying cat and fox. I totally regret agreeing to his request!'

Su Fan returns to his spot in the lineup with Xiao Wu, who has a sour expression. Ning Rongrong looks at Xiao Wu and laughs.

"Hahaha! You really didn't expect this, did you, little bunny?"

"Who are you calling little bunny?! Believe it or not, I can trap you in a blanket when we get back!"

"You dare?!"

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong start bickering, locking eyes in a battle of stares. Su Fan appears uninterested in their interaction and lets them be. Meanwhile, Zhu Zhuqing sighs in relief, knowing that Su Fan hasn't left the academy.

"Ahem!"

Flender gives Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong a stern look. Xiao Wu doesn't care, but Ning Rongrong reluctantly backs down, realizing she doesn't have the same status as Xiao Wu. Meanwhile, Flender decides to drop his plan for Su Fan and Xiao Wu, but he still intends to go through with his plan for Ning Rongrong.

"Despite the unpleasant incident earlier, we can all agree that for support-type spirit masters, not having protection in battle is very dangerous. That's why escaping is an essential skill you all must have. Oscar, Ning Rongrong."

The two of them step forward from the lineup. Ning Rongrong looks very serious, making Xiao Wu feel a bit strange about her.

"Run twenty laps. You won't eat if you don't finish before lunch."

"Understood!"

"Alright then, Oscar will lead."

"Yeah… Let's go."

Oscar leads the way with a gloomy expression. Even though he gets to run with his dream girl, running twenty laps—considering how long one lap is—is no joke. Reluctantly, he starts running, followed by a confused Ning Rongrong.

Hearing Flender's order, Su Fan senses something is off. After living with Orochimaru for years, his mind works quickly whenever he feels something is wrong. After thinking for a moment, Su Fan realizes Flender's real intention.

"Boring."

Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing look at Su Fan in confusion.

"Ning Rongrong will never be able to complete this. The headmaster is deliberately trying to teach her a lesson."

Hearing Su Fan's words, Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing finally understand Flender's intentions. Zhu Zhuqing feels pity, while Xiao Wu smiles, happy that her rival is about to suffer.
