Liu Erlong nodded and pointed in the direction. Montu, after being possessed by Venom, lifted Erlong onto his back and fired a web toward the tallest tree in sight, launching himself forward.

"Wow, impressive! Your webs are incredibly strong," Liu Erlong commented.

Venom just laughed, his tongue flicking from side to side.

After half an hour, they arrived in front of a swamp. Thanks to Liu Erlong continuously exuding her aura, they hadn't encountered any soul beasts along the way, as none dared to approach.

"Earth King Lizards never stay together, especially if they are of the same gender. In this swamp lives a 65,000-year-old Earth King Lizard," Liu Erlong explained.

A deep roar echoed through the swamp as a massive lizard emerged slowly, its hungry eyes locked onto Montu and Liu Erlong.

"Martial soul possession!" Liu Erlong called out, igniting flames around her body. She controlled the fire carefully to prevent it from harming Montu.

Montu quickly fired several web nets at the lizard's eyes and sprinted toward its throat, while Liu Erlong slashed at its legs with her second soul skill, her fire-clad paws striking fiercely.

The Earth King Lizard retaliated, using its earth mastery to summon sharp stone needles from the ground, attempting to block their path. However, they charged through, breaking the obstacles with brute force.

Meanwhile, Montu panted heavily, drained from using Venom to heal her.

Half an hour later, Liu Erlong stood up, killed the Earth King Lizard, and sat down again to absorb its soul ring.

Two hours later, she stood up with a bright smile.

"So, what's the result?" Montu asked.

"My eighth soul ring allows me to condense an earth-attribute armor for defense. While it's active, my healing ability is significantly enhanced," Liu Erlong explained.

"Hmm, good ability. Now, get familiar with it. We still have one more thing to do in Sunset Jungle," Montu said.

"We need to find the tallest mountain in the deeper part of the jungle—one covered in deadly poison," Montu said.

Montu was surprised. "How do you know?"

"We came to Sunset Jungle once to hunt a soul ring for the academy's head teacher and stumbled upon it," she explained.

"Alright, take me there," Montu said.

Liu Erlong nodded and started running, with Montu following closely behind.

Reaching the Yin-Yang Pond

Half an hour later, they arrived.

"Here it is," Liu Erlong said.

Montu nodded, allowing Venom to possess him. As he touched the poison wall, he felt it trying to infiltrate his body. However, his Eight Spider Lances emerged and absorbed the poison, making him feel comfortable in the toxic environment.

Venom retreated slightly, covering Liu Erlong's body and reducing Montu's own size to protect her. Holding hands, they stepped through the poison wall together.

After walking for a while, Montu sensed a hole ahead. He lifted Liu Erlong in his arms and jumped down, using his Eight Spider Lances for support.

Before them lay a breathtaking yet deadly scene—a pond radiating extreme fire and ice attributes. On opposite sides of the pond stood the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and the Infernal Delicate Apricot.

"Beautiful," Liu Erlong murmured in awe.

"Erlong, throw me the fire plant," Montu instructed.

"Got it," Liu Erlong nodded, stepping toward the Infernal Delicate Apricot.

"Three, two, one—now!" Montu shouted.

He swiftly cut the Ice Grass while catching the Infernal Apricot that Liu Erlong tossed. Holding one in each hand, his left hand froze while his right burned. Without hesitation, he consumed both.

"Erlong, stay alert in case Dugu Bo returns," Montu warned before leaping into the pond. His body screamed in agony as he underwent transformation.

Half an hour later, Montu emerged, fully possessed by Venom.

"Ha… this power… I like it. Now, Venom is immune to both fire and ice. Only sound-based attacks remain a weakness. But first, Erlong needs to absorb the Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower," Montu thought.

Liu Erlong handed him a set of clothes from her storage ring. He put on his pants first but was interrupted by a sudden, oppressive scream.

"THIEVES! How dare you trespass into my garden?! Neither of you will leave alive!" Dugu Bo's voice thundered.

"Erlong, be careful of his head soul bone—it can turn you to stone!" Montu quickly warned.

Liu Erlong nodded in understanding.

Dugu Bo descended, glaring at them. "A Soul Douluo and a Grand Soul Master… You dare steal from me? Die!" He unleashed an attack with his fifth soul ring.

Liu Erlong ignited her flames and counterattacked. Montu, possessed by Venom, fired multiple web shots and nets. He also summoned his Eight Spider Lances for increased mobility.

Dugu Bo expected the webs to dissolve due to his poison, but they remained intact. Shocked, he didn't notice Montu sneaking up behind him.

Taking advantage, Liu Erlong activated her eighth and sixth soul rings, charging forward.

Montu, using web-assisted acceleration, shot toward Dugu Bo's back, piercing his limbs with four of his Eight Spider Lances. His claws, empowered by his Dreadclaw Bear soul skill, turned metallic dark gold and struck Dugu Bo's bone marrow, shattering it.

Severely injured, Dugu Bo couldn't block Liu Erlong's next attack and was engulfed in flames.

"Pfft… if I die, I'm taking you both with me!" Dugu Bo roared in resentment, detonating his poison pill.

Montu quickly impaled him with his remaining four Lances, absorbing his poison and soul power. He also discovered a newfound ability—to absorb vitality.

Dugu Bo withered away before he could finish his attack.

"Are you alright?" Liu Erlong asked, sitting beside the exhausted Montu.

"Haha, turns out the rumors were true—Dugu Bo really was the weakest Title Douluo," Montu laughed.

"No, we won because I'm an 82nd-level Soul Douluo and your martial soul lets you fight Soul Saints," Liu Erlong analyzed.

"Enough love talk. Go absorb that Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower," Montu said, pointing at the flower.

Liu Erlong nodded and began refining the herb.

Meanwhile, Montu looted Dugu Bo's storage pouches, disposed of his body in the fire pond, and reinforced the poison wall.

"Now, only Limit Douluo or stronger can break in. This garden belongs to me now," Montu smirked.
