Chapter 27: VISITORS IN HIS LITTLE WORLD
As their surroundings blurred, the haze cleared almost instantly. They now stood on the shore of a tranquil lake, surrounded by a dense, serene forest. The air was crisp and filled with a palpable sense of energy. It was unlike anything they had felt before.
The first thing they noticed was the sheer density of energy in this world—it was nearly fifteen times denser than the energy of the outside world. It wasn't just dense; it was rich, vibrant, and teeming with elemental fluctuations that seemed to breathe life into every corner of this mysterious realm.
Nan Cheng couldn't hide her disbelief. She turned to her son, Xuanyu, her eyes wide with astonishment. "This… this little world belongs to you?" she asked incredulously.
Xuanyu scratched the back of his head, looking slightly embarrassed but said nothing.
Before she could press further, an excited exclamation broke the silence. "Mommy, look! A fairy! A flying fairy!" Xu'er's young voice rang out, full of wonder and delight.
Both adults turned toward the direction Xu'er was pointing. Hovering in the distance was a group of tiny humanoid creatures with delicate, translucent wings. They flew gracefully, shimmering with a soft glow that seemed to reflect the elements they represented.
Nan Cheng's body tensed. Instinctively, she stepped in front of her daughter, shielding Xu'er from any potential danger. Teacher Nana, on the other hand, observed the fairies curiously. Her gaze lingered on three specific fairies at the forefront of the group, each of whom had draconic wings instead of the usual feathery ones.
The fairies ignored the adults entirely, flying directly toward Xuanyu. When they reached him, they bowed deeply, their tiny forms radiating respect. "Greetings, my Lord," they said in unison, their melodic voices resonating in the air.
Xuanyu froze, visibly uncomfortable. His mother and teacher were watching, and being addressed as "Lord" in their presence made him feel awkward. He cleared his throat and introduced the newcomers. "Everyone, these are my family and teacher. This is my mother," he said, gesturing to Nan Cheng, "my little sister," pointing to the wide-eyed Xu'er, "and my teacher, Nana.", pointing at his teacher.
The fairies nodded politely but showed little interest in anyone other than Xuanyu. However, one fairy, Silvia, broke away from the group. She flew toward Nana, her large, curious eyes meeting Nana's gaze. The two stared at each other in silence, their expressions reflecting mutual curiosity.
Just as the moment threatened to become awkward, Silvia finally spoke. "You feel… familiar. Half of Xuanyu feels like you."
Nana tilted her head, intrigued. "Perhaps it's because we share the same martial spirit."
Silvia nodded thoughtfully. "May I stay with you?" she asked, her voice soft but insistent.
Nana smiled and nodded. Silvia immediately flew onto her shoulder, perching there like a contented bird. Seeing this interaction, Nan Cheng relaxed slightly, realizing the fairies were harmless.

Hours later, the group lounged by the shore of the lake, enjoying the serenity of Xuanyu's little world. Nan Cheng played in the lake with Xu'er, who was brimming with energy and excitement.
"Mom, I feel so full!" Xu'er exclaimed suddenly, her small hands patting her belly.
Nan Cheng frowned. "But you haven't eaten anything. Why would you feel full?"
Xu'er shrugged innocently, her confusion as genuine as her mother's.
Silvia, still perched on Nana's shoulder, flew over to them. "Lady Nan Cheng," she said, "I'll take care of the little lady. You can stay in the lake to absorb enough Origin Energy."
"Origin Energy?" Nan Cheng repeated, puzzled.
Silvia simply shrugged in response, her expression conveying that she didn't fully understand it herself. She led Xu'er out of the lake, leaving Nan Cheng to ponder the strange phenomenon.
Meanwhile, Nana sat quietly on the shore, lost in thought. Her eyes darted between Xuanyu, the fairies, and the shimmering lake. Something about the lake tugged at her instincts, a deep urge whispering for her to immerse herself in its waters. Unable to resist, she eventually changed into suitable clothes and stepped into the lake.

On the other side of the lake, Xuanyu stood with Titania, one of the fairies, as she introduced a group of newly born fairies.
"These fairies were born during the recent elemental energy tide," Titania explained.
One by one, the newborn fairies stepped forward to introduce themselves.
The blonde-haired fairy curtsied. "Greetings, my Lord. I am Luna, a fairy of Light."
The dark-haired fairy bowed. "Greetings, my Lord. I am Saria, a fairy of Darkness."
The purple-haired fairy stepped forward confidently. "Greetings, my Lord. I am Storm, a fairy of Thunder."
A silver-haired fairy followed. "Greetings, my Lord. I am Aisha, a fairy of Space."
Lastly, a green-haired fairy with an otherworldly glow stepped forward. "Greetings, my Lord. I am Kurumi, a fairy of Time."
Xuanyu nodded, acknowledging them. However, his attention was suddenly drawn to the lake. He turned and saw Nana standing in the lake's center, the water swirling around her. He could feel her absorbing massive amounts of energy, her aura growing stronger by the second.
For the next half hour, she absorbed the rich Origin Energy in silence. When she finally emerged, her eyes were brighter, her aura sharper.
"Xuanyu," she said, walking toward him. "Can you tell me more about this lake?"
Xuanyu shrugged. "Not much to tell. One day, this lake just formed around the Origin Tree. When I jumped in for a bath, I felt my body absorbing something. After a few minutes, I felt full and left the lake. I didn't notice any harmful effects, so now I just use it whenever I feel that fullness fade."
Nana nodded, her gaze lingering on the lake. "It seems harmless for now, but this energy… it's extraordinary."
Xuanyu nodded.
Nana nodded and said," Well since its not harmful, it doesn't matter much. Lets start with your training Xuanyu."
Xuanyu once again nodded.
Nana continued," Xuanyu, your control over ice is impressive, but your power and coldness are limited by the age of your spirit rings. That can be improved over time.
So lets move on to martial arts."
As Nana began training Xuanyu, Ilayda, one of the fairies, floated nearby, observing with keen interest. Mimicking Xuanyu's movements, she quickly mastered the techniques Nana taught.
Bored with training, Ilayda decided to create something new. Using her powers, she sculpted an intricate ice statue of Xuanyu, complete with draconic claws and the Clear Sky Hammer.
"Wow! Big brother, look!" Xu'er exclaimed. "The fairy made a statue of you!"
Xuanyu inspected the statue, smirking. "I really am handsome. May Heaven help the beauties of this world."
Nan Cheng rolled her eyes and swatted her son's head. "Narcissist!" she muttered, though she couldn't deny her son was growing into a striking young man.
Excited, Xu'er asked Ilayda to create a statue of her too. Ilayda obliged, crafting a lifelike ice statue of the little girl.
Xu'er squealed with delight, running around her icy likeness until the cold made her sneeze.
Nan Cheng quickly bundled her up and took her away from the statues.

Later, Xuanyu led his family and teacher to his garden. Rows of rare and exotic Earthly and Heavenly Treasures filled the space, glowing faintly with vitality. Nan Cheng's jaw dropped. "All these treasures… they're unbelievable!" she stammered.
"These plants thrive under the care of the fairies," Xuanyu explained. "Their presence accelerates growth and enhances the plants' potency."
Nana's eyes lit up,"These treasures could greatly benefit your cultivation, Xuanyu. I know several medicinal formulas we can use."
Nan Cheng nodded fervently. "With these resources, your growth will skyrocket!"
Xuanyu smiled warmly at their enthusiasm.
After spending the day exploring the wonders of Xuanyu's little world, the Lan family and Teacher Nana returned to the outside world for dinner, leaving the serene realm behind but carrying its memories with them.
