Dragon Ball: Beerus And His Adorable Daughter

Chapter 4: Ch.4 Blair’s Playdate with Zeno

A couple days later

Blair woke up with a yawn, her tiny ears twitching as she rubbed her sleepy eyes.

Suddenly, a thought struck her—what if her dad was already eating without her?! A pout quickly formed on her lips, and without wasting another second, she rushed toward the dining room.

As she burst through the doors, her eyes darted around, only to find Beerus at the table, not doing anything.

Just as she entered, Whis's staff blinked, signaling an incoming call.

Beerus reached out to answer, but Blair, with a cheeky grin, snatched it away, swinging it playfully out of his reach.

"Who is it?" she asked with curiosity, giggling as she dodged her father's attempts to take it back.

To everyone's surprise, the image of Zeno popped up in a projection.

"Hello!" Zeno greeted.

Beerus immediately froze before scrambling to bow deeply, reaching for Blair to make her do the same.

But the mischievous kitten easily dodged his grasp, flying up closer to the projection with an innocent smile.

"Hi! How have you been?" she asked, her tail swaying in delight.

Zeno giggled. "Oh, Blair! I have been okay, but I called because I wanted to ask you and Goku to visit! I want to hang out!"

A While Later…

With a bright flash, Blair and Goku appeared in Zeno's palace, accompanied by Whis and the Supreme Kai.

Since Beerus had firmly told Blair not to use the summoning button carelessly, she had to be brought here through other means—which left her pouting the entire way.

"Daddy is such a meanie," she grumbled, crossing her arms.

As they arrived, the Grand Priest walked up to them, greeting them with a polite smile.

Before he could say anything, Blair, her excitement bubbling over, flew right up to him and grabbed his hand.

"Hi! You look so cute! What's your name?" she asked with wide, sparkling eyes.

The Grand Priest chuckled, rubbing her head gently. "What an energetic little one," he mused, while Whis and the Supreme Kai sweated at her Behavior.

When they reached Zeno, he beamed with joy, flying over to greet both Goku and Blair.

Goku, as usual, was told to be more formal—but Zeno quickly dismissed that idea. "I like when Goku talks to me how he wants"

Goku grinned and casually gave him a nickname. "Zeni"

Blair gasped, her ears perking up. "That's an adorable name" she giggled, making Zeno agree too.

Unfortunately, Goku had to leave, apologizing. "Sorry, Zeni, I can't hang out today, but I promise to bring someone even funnier next time!"

After shaking hands and Zeno once again being lifted into the air by Goku, he left, leaving Blair and Zeno alone to play.

Playtime with Zeno!

Back on Beerus's planet, the god of destruction stared at Goku in shock.

"Wait, wait, wait—you LEFT Blair alone with Zeno?! What if he gets mad and erases her from existence?!"

Goku scratched the back of his head. "Ah, don't worry, they seemed to be having fun"

"Did! you just call Lord Zeno, Zeni?"

Beerus's eye twitched.

Meanwhile, back in Zeno's palace, Blair and Zeno were looking for something fun to do.

Blair, remembering a simple and fun game from her past life, clapped her hands. "Oh! Let's play hide and seek!"

Zeno tilted his head. "Hide and seek?"

Blair nodded eagerly. "It's really fun! One person hides, and the other has to find them!"

Excited, Zeno agreed, but after a few rounds, he got tired of it being to fast paced. "This is too easy! There aren't enough places to hide!"

Hearing this, the Grand Priest stepped in with a kind smile. "I can fix that. How about a changing environment? Every six rounds, I will create a brand new place for you to hide."

Blair's eyes sparkled. "That sounds amazing!"

And so, their hide-and-seek adventure began!

The first area was a bustling miniature city, where Blair squeezed into tiny alleyways and behind buildings.

The second was a dense forest, filled with thick trees and bushes.

The third was a jungle, with vines and waterfalls to hide behind. The fourth was an ocean, where Blair and Zeno, not needing to breathe as gods, played under the water.

The fifth was a mountain range, where Blair hid in caves and behind boulders.

Finally, during one of the last rounds, Blair hid behind a coral reef underwater, giggling as she waited for Zeno to find her.

After a few minutes, he finally spotted her and swam over.

"Found you!"

Blair let out a laugh and jumped toward him, wrapping him in a hug.

"Zeni! I had so much fun playing with you!" she chirped happily, her tail curling in joy.

Zeno, momentarily confused, hesitated before hugging her back. "I had fun too!"

They continued playing for a while longer, trying different games, until Blair finally yawned, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

"Can we play again another day?" she asked with a hopeful smile.

Zeno nodded eagerly. "Yes!"

With that, the Grand Priest contacted Whis, and soon, the angel arrived to pick up Blair.

Lifting her into his arms, Whis bid farewell to Zeno before traveling back to Beerus's world.

Beerus's World

The moment Whis arrived, Beerus was already waiting. His eyes immediately landed on Blair, noticing her droopy ears and sleepy expression.

He noticed all this as she was curled up in Whis's arms, dozing off.

His concern flared, and in an instant, he snatched her away, cradling her close as he checked her over.

"Whis! What happened?" he demanded, but Whis only chuckled.

"She simply played too much and tired herself out."

Beerus sighed in relief as Blair sleepily opened her eyes, clutching his fur.

"Daddy… I'm tired from playing all day with Zeni," she mumbled, nuzzling against his chest.

Beerus blinked at the nickname but was too exhausted to react. Instead, he carried her toward his room.

Just as he was about to tuck her in, her stomach let out a small grumble.

He paused.

"Did you forget to eat?"

Blair's ears twitched, and she gave a small, embarrassed nod.

With a sigh, Beerus turned around, carrying her back to the dining hall. Setting her in a chair, he placed a plate in front of her, but her sleepiness made her wobble, nearly slipping off.

With quick reflexes, Beerus caught her and pulled her onto his lap, holding her securely.

"Alright, alright, I'll feed you myself," he muttered, gently bringing a spoon to her lips.

Blair, still half-asleep, let him spoon-feed her slowly.

Even though he knew she could go years without food, something about letting her skip a meal didn't sit right with him. He wanted the best for her.

Once she finished, she looked up at him, sleepily smiling.

"Love you, Daddy…" she murmured, food still at the corner of her mouth before she finally fell into a peaceful slumber.

Beerus's ears twitched as his expression softened. He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.

"This little kitten… I love you too," he whispered, carrying her back to bed.

The next morning, Blair slowly blinked awake, stretching her tiny arms with a soft yawn.

She rubbed her eyes before hopping out of bed, her tail swaying happily behind her. Today, she felt extra energetic—she wanted to play!

As she padded into the dining hall, she spotted her father sitting at the table, sipping his drink.

The moment Beerus saw Blair, his ears twitched, and he put his cup down, his golden eyes narrowing in mock irritation.

"Hmph. I didn't even get to see you much yesterday," he grumbled, crossing his arms.

Blair tilted her head innocently. "But I was playing with Zeni! And it was so much fun!"

Beerus huffed dramatically. "So, what you're saying is… you'd rather play with him than your own dad?"

Blair gasped, her little hands flying to her cheeks. "Nooo! Daddy, I love playing with you too!"

Beerus's lips twitched, barely holding back a smirk. "Then prove it!"

Blair squeaked as Beerus suddenly rushed toward her, his arms outstretched.

"prove it by playing Tag! I will be it first!" he declared.

With a giggle, Blair spun around and bolted. She zipped through the air, her tail flicking playfully behind her as Beerus chased her with a smirk.

He wasn't using his full speed yet—he was savoring this moment. His little kitten was his to play with today!

"You're not getting away, Blair!" he teased.

Blair stuck out her tongue. "Bet I will!"

She darted left and right, dodging her father's playful swipes, but Beerus suddenly lunged at her—

Just as he was about to catch her, a large, round figure appeared out of nowhere!

WHAM!

Beerus collided head-first into Champa!

The two brothers crashed to the ground in a tangled heap, groaning loudly. Blair, who had spun away just in time, hovered in the air, her ears perked up in surprise.

But as soon as she took in the sight of Beerus and Champa sprawled on the floor, their tails twitching in frustration—

She burst into laughter!

Her tiny hands clutched her stomach as she giggled uncontrollably, her laughter like the sweetest chime.

"Hehe! Daddy, Uncle Shampa, you both look so funny!" she squealed, her cheeks turning pink from laughing so much.

Beerus lifted his head, looking at his daughter with a twitching brow.

He was about to grumble about being laughed at, but the sight of Blair giggling so happily made his annoyance melt away instantly. Instead, his grin turned mischievous.

"Oh, so you think that's funny, huh?"

Blair, still laughing, suddenly froze when she saw her father's expression shift.

Uh-oh.

Before she could react, Beerus was already rushing toward her!

With a squeal, Blair turned to flee—but she wasn't fast enough!

"Gotcha!" Beerus purred as he scooped her up effortlessly, trapping her in his arms.

Blair squeaked and wiggled, trying to break free, but it was no use.

And then—

Tickle attack!

"Ahhh! N-No, Daddy! Hehehe!!" Blair burst into adorable laughter, kicking her tiny feet as Beerus mercilessly tickled her sides.

"You laughed at me, so this is your punishment!" Beerus chuckled, thoroughly enjoying himself.

"I'm s-soooorry! Hehehe! Daddy, stop—!" Blair giggled helplessly, tears of laughter forming in her eyes.

Champa, still sitting on the ground, watched the scene unfold. At first, he was bewildered, blinking at the sight of his usually aloof and grumpy brother playing so affectionately with a child.

But then, he found himself staring at Blair.

Her laughter was so full of joy, her tiny body wriggling in delight as she pleaded for mercy from Beerus's tickles.

Her adorable little fangs peeked out as she giggled, her tail flicking wildly.

She was so… precious.

Champa coughed into his hand, looking away as if to hide the fondness creeping onto his face. He had originally come to visit his niece out of curiosity, but now he was very glad he did.

Meanwhile, Blair, still caught in Beerus's grasp, finally flopped limply against him, exhausted from giggling too much. She pouted playfully.

"Hehe… Daddy, no fair…"

Beerus smirked, pressing a small kiss to the top of her head. "That's what you get for laughing at me, my little kitten."

Blair hummed happily, curling against him. "I love playing with you, Daddy."

Beerus chuckled, his arms wrapping protectively around her. "And I love playing with you too, Blair."

Champa, watching the two of them, rolled his eyes. "Ugh, you're getting all sentimental. Whatever, I came to see Blair, not watch you act like some doting father."

Blair perked up, still snug in her father's arms. "Uncle Shampa! You wanna play too?"

Champa blinked. "Play…?"

Blair nodded eagerly. "Mhm! We were playing tag! You can be 'it' next!"

Beerus's grin widened. "Oh, now this I have to see."

Champa, realizing he had just been roped into a game of tag, groaned. "Oh, for the love of—fine! But I better not hear any complaints when I win!" he said Pretending not to like the idea.

Blair giggled excitedly. "Yay! Uncle Shampa is playing too!"

As Champa begrudgingly got up A smile hidden from view, the game of tag resumed, with Blair laughing joyfully, her father and uncle both chasing after her.

For now, everything was perfect.
