In the depths of darkness, Raditz began to move towards one side. This place couldn't be infinitely vast. As long as he continued in one direction, he would eventually reach the end. He needed to find the boundaries of this space, or at least understand its size.

But as soon as he reached the edge, he stopped.

It was just a few steps away. Was this a very small room or a cage?

Suddenly, Raditz slapped his head.

"I completely forgot about this trick." He smiled and gathered Ki in his hand, creating a bright white light that illuminated the entire space.

At that moment, the lights turned on.

The dazzling lights blinded Raditz for a moment, but he quickly adjusted his eyes. In front of him were numerous high-density metal cages arranged in rows.

About ten square meters in size, the cages lined three sides of an incomprehensible metal panel. There were electronic devices on them, and the outer side was completely transparent, like a glass wall. When touched, the surface had a faint golden glow. The floor was also hard and terrifying, immovable even when punched, and a menacing blade hung overhead, ready to descend at any moment.

The surroundings were the same, with indigenous people from Tumat and other planets trapped in similar cages. Each cage looked peculiar, but they all shared one thing in common—they were bound by electronic chains. However, Raditz and the others who had fallen into the trap had not yet been bounded.

A hoarse electronic voice echoed from the large dome above, initially sharp and grating, like the sound of two rough kitchen knives scraping against each other, assaulting their eardrums.

Then, a cold and piercing voice emanated from the equipment in each compartment: "The 384th experimental subject successfully captured. The 348th..."

"The 365th experimental subject successfully captured..."

After announcing a series of captures, a brief silence followed. Raditz could clearly see that many people were trembling and shouting, seemingly afraid of the impending punishment.

"Subjects 66, 71, and 80—destroyed!"

"Destroyed?" Raditz was shocked. Looking through the transparent walls, he saw that the compartment corresponding to the announced numbers automatically opened, and a group of armored mechanical warriors restrained the captured subjects and sent them to another space.

It seemed that the original experimental subjects had a limited lifespan. Once new subjects were introduced, those who didn't meet the standards would be destroyed. After all, the resources needed to sustain human existence were limited, and it was impossible to maintain too many experimental subjects simultaneously.

At that moment, the gates opened, presenting an opportunity for Raditz to escape!

The opportunity was fleeting, and he couldn't afford to miss it.

Three experimental subjects, their bodies covered in green cloth, were slowly advancing. The first person was less than five meters away from the door.

Now was the time!

Raditz prepared his fist and launched a sudden attack, striking the transparent wall. The sturdy material deformed slightly but didn't crack.

Realizing the futility of his initial approach, he quickly changed his strategy. A surge of Ki erupted from his hand. The brilliant blue light collided with the transparent wall but disappeared without a trace, leaving Raditz astonished.

Meanwhile, the other three walls were pierced with metal electrodes and various guns and weapons. This cage had become a boiling cauldron.

In that instant of being countered, Raditz understood the truth. The transparent wall had the ability to absorb energy, similar to the outer metal giant, while the other three sides were reinforced with high-strength alloys and equipped with numerous weapons.

The combined firepower of the weapons would be unbearable at such close range. Additionally, a massive curved blade hung directly above, ready to descend with its sharp edge and bright gleam.

But Raditz smiled confidently.

He leaped and dodged the descending blade, and just as the volley of bullets was about to strike, he unleashed his Ki, increasing his speed. This allowed him to evade the blade and grab onto a telescopic metal hydraulic rod. With a mighty strike, the rod broke, and the blade's hem was bombarded by the volley of bullets, shattering it against the transparent wall.

"The Ki wave can't penetrate the wall or shield, so I'll use my own weapon!" Raditz exclaimed, summoning a Ki blade with his hand.

The blade's edge was incredibly sharp and moved at high speed, making contact with a small surface area. With the tremendous Ki behind it, the pressure was enough to break through the transparent "shield," causing the air to hum.

In the shattered cage, a figure stood out and flew towards the door.

The remaining prisoners were shocked, as if they were witnessing the most unexpected thing in the world. Someone had managed to escape the cage and challenge these formidable machines!

"Raditz?!" Goku and the others shouted in unison, but their voices couldn't reach him.

During this brief moment of commotion, Raditz had already reached the door. Two Ki blasts destroyed the secondary mechanical warriors, and the remnants of their armor sizzled and emitted sparks. Dark green lubricant fluid spilled onto the ground.

The prisoners erupted with cheers and shouts in their respective compartments. Some burst into tears, overwhelmed with joy and relief.

Who wouldn't be moved by witnessing a hero standing up against their predetermined fate?

Suddenly, a warning beep resounded throughout the entire room, accompanied by flashing red lights. Countless black metal warriors emerged from the ground, filling the area.

The mighty mechanical army advanced towards Raditz, and the door began to close.

"Swish, swish, swish!"

Two shots struck the two experimental subjects behind him, and another shot was about to hit the person in front. Raditz deflected the shot with a swift motion, then grabbed the nearby experimental subject and rushed out through the door.

The door closed behind them, trapping a corner of the green cloth within its crack. Finally, the true identity of the experimental subject hidden under the cover was revealed.

Before Raditz could even see her face, a hint of surprise crossed his expression. The girl's cheeks were slightly flushed, and as he held her chest, he felt its softness and gentle sway. He quickly withdrew his hand, wanting to explain that he couldn't control his movements, that it was unintentional.

"Thank you, thank you," the girl shyly smiled, biting her lip and avoiding eye contact with Raditz.
