“Hi? Eleanor?”
“Good afternoon, right?” I asked, considering the time difference since Clare was in America.

“Back in Japan? You should have told me.”
“Sorry, it’s been busy. So, is this call about the contract for the recovery potions and the item bag?”
That’s right. I was planning to sell Clare both Level 2 Recovery Potions and a 1000-kilo Item Bag.
“Yes, that’s it. I want to move on to the next contract.”
“Next?”
“I want to sell Level 2 Recovery Potions to the Guild Headquarters. But I promised I wouldn’t sell to anyone else without your approval. I want to finalize our contract details soon.”
I was being pressured and didn’t want to make an enemy of the Guild.

“I can match your schedule… Are you free tomorrow?”

“Can you pick me up near the Ikebukuro Guild? I’ll be there around noon.”

After finalizing the details, Clare ended the call.
“Maybe I’ll go adventuring the day after tomorrow…” I thought aloud, standing up to revert to Okita.
Kaede-chan, fully dressed, burst into the living room excitedly.

She seemed thrilled about the results of our Potion Body Care experiment.

After that, we went to a drugstore to ponder more potion-based products. This was our second date – a drugstore date at our age.

The woman across from me, Yoshino, apologized. She’s an A-rank adventurer and the Guild Master’s cousin at Ikebukuro Guild.

Being with Eleanor, such things were bound to happen.
Yoshino continued, “I shouldn’t have involved a minor like you.”
“It’s okay. I chose to be with Eleanor. Did you investigate me too?”
“No, I didn’t. You’re a minor, after all.”
I was relieved. I didn’t want to be suspected, especially by someone like Eleanor.
We chatted for a while and then headed to the cashier.
“I’ll pay for this,” Yoshino said, confidently pulling out her wallet.
I thanked her and then left the restaurant to meet a friend.
As I walked, a black car pulled up. I got into the back seat.
“How did it go, boss?” a subordinate asked.
“A-rank adventurers are intimidating. I’ll have to be careful with Yoshino.”
“Please be cautious. We’ll protect you, but she’s quite capable.”
“I’ll manage. Worst case, the Golden Witch will have my back.”
I was confident in Eleanor’s protection.
“You’re her apprentice, right?”
“Yes. I’ve even been called a ‘weird kid in a suit and sunglasses’ online.”
I wasn’t thrilled about the outfit, but it was necessary to keep my identity hidden.
“I think it suits you.”
We discussed our plans, and I decided to go shopping before heading home. As I walked past Eleanor and Kaede’s apartment, I used my clairvoyance to peek inside.
Eleanor and Kaede were sitting close on the sofa, touching each other’s arms and hands. I wondered what they were doing – something seemed to be starting between them. But with Eleanor in her female form, it was hard to understand the situation.
