Exceed!!

Thursday, 7:00 p.m, one day until the tournament. In a backyard so massive, the ground shakes and erupts a giant beanstalk. The cause of this was Juno Takata, she has one of the great abilities to create life anywhere at will. Ex-shin, who got lifted into the air by said beanstalk, activates Incineration while falling and ashes the plant during his descent.

Deactivating his power, Shin looks at Juno as he lands. They stare down until Juno speeds in and attempts to hit Ex. Shin blocks a kick, redirects a punch and stops the following roundhouse, slips under a jab and weaves the double cross to the face, steps back a sweep before connecting a heavy blow to Juno's arm and sends her sliding back, though she was blocking. Juno then runs in with even more attacks than before. Ex-shin ducks the kick and hops the sweep, slides under her straight, side steps the back kick then parries her many punches and redirects one to send her to the floor.

A moment of silence fills the air before both parties brush the dirt off of them and take a break, Juno getting some water as they both take a seat on chairs made from vines that Juno has created. She speaks in heavy breaths towards Ex-shin, wheezing from the combat.

"D-Damn…that marks off our 30th spar…I still haven't managed to hit you a single time outta all the times we've fought. Who taught you how to fight?". "Isn't this YOUR 30th time asking me that? You've been asking since we began fighting.". Shin chuckles. "You have some moves up your sleeve as well though. Everytime we spar you get better and better! Just inching slowly closer to hitting me. But you're not there yet…Soon! But not now.". "Yeah! Yeah! When I manage to hit you, I'll make sure to have it be a clean hit to the jaw babes!". A touching and laughable moment between the two successors. They laugh and laugh more for moments at a time.

"I'm gonna go change. I need to get home anyways…", I sigh, looking in the air to see daylight is ending, and rather quickly at that…the moon shows its face. We both stand up and start to walk towards Juno's back door to her huge house. Before we could reach the door, the ground rumbles as part of the yard splits in half and a black, crooked, iron barred gate rises up from the soil. Juno and I look back at the gate while it slowly creaks open. With a serious look from the both of us, we know what this is.

A Summoning gate. It's a portal to hell basically. The Summoning gates are a natural phenomenon that tend to spawn randomly. We don't know what causes these to appear, but something strong is stepping out of the one that's in front of us right now. A fiend…a strong one at that. He steps to us, towering us both with his height. "Well…Well…Well…looky here. A couple of victims to slaughter for more power!".

The fiend stomps on the ground and causes all three of us to separate. He goes for me first…he tries to strike, but I accelerate time for a moment to dempsey roll and connect a mean right hook, staggering the being as Juno closes in with gauntlets made up of vines.

She pulls the being close to her and hits him with a spinning backfist, uppercut the spine, and pushes him back towards me into a straight punch to the chest, knocking him away. "Juno, step away, I'll handle this quickly.". "Well don't let me stop ya chief.", she said, moving away from the problem. "A Mistake for you to ever let go of your comrade, boy. Please…Let me show you what I can really do…!". Blood covers the being in a cocoon-like barrier before it cracks and shatters, revealing the fiend's transformed state. Long horns protrude out of the fiend's head, his gray skin is detailed with additional black, wavy designs and wings to compliment the details.

"Hey Juno…wanna make a bet?". She faces me with a confused look on her face. "Mmm???" "If I don't get hit this entire fight…You gotta let me crash at your place for the night.". "Okay Okay, well if you DO get hit, you have to take me out to eat something…your treat. Deal?". "Deal- *Bang!*" The powered fiend attempted to punch me, but I perfectly blocked his strike. "Ooooo~ Good block!!".

I palm my opponent's face and throw him across the field while walking up to him, cracking my bones and stretching."Look…given the fact that I made a bet, AND the fact that I have a spectator watching me fight you…you won't be able to land a scratch on me you damn creature…! Come at me!", I smile. The being moves in and throws a punch but I parry into an elbow uppercut and two piece the ribs before knocking away the fiend. "Oh! And I WILL be showing off just so y'know.".

My smile is continuous the entire fight as I am determined to win this bet. My opponent clones himself with his blood abilities. I myself run in and begin to fight the both of them. In between the two, I block a kick, weave their sharp claws, and make them hit their heads together. The real one stays behind and throws homing blood spears at me, meanwhile, the faker chases me to the other side of the yard where we fight. I block his left, lean away from two hits all the while ducking a blood spear.

The fiend carries on with the fight as he tries to knee my face. I trip him, and as he lands, I cave in his sternum. But just for good measure I activate Incineration and…"What the?", his fake self turns into blood in the middle of me noticing that his real self is in the air, gathering all the blood and forming it into a large, spiky sphere that crackles with electricity. "Yahahahahahah!! Now this is something to get a taste of! Boiling Blood Bomb!!!", the fiend cackles while launching the ball at me. With Incinerate still active, I take a deep breath and give a sinister smile…pointing a finger in front of me, I focus heat to that singular spot.

"Chaos Beam.". Shooting a flame colored laser through the giant orb, it hits the being's shoulder and drops his body to the ground. I stop using my power and cool down. The creature runs at me, but with a swift gut punch, he falls face first and turns into blood. "What??!!!", a look to my right tells me the real one is pursuing Juno ready to strike her.

"If I can take her blood…I'll be strong enough to kill that guy! Now, let me kill you-". *Bam!!!* Driven into the pavement, the fiend's body goes limp from the chokeslam it had faced. My grip doesn't falter as I pick up his body. My hand glows, activating Incinerate before the heat focuses to my palm. "Cease from my sight. Now…Chaos Beam!"

A massive orange and yellow beam engulfs the body, disintegrating the creature into dust as I stand there in silence. "Ex…Ex!!!", "Huh? Yeah Juno?", I respond. Her face droops a bit when speaking. "You won the bet…you can crash in the guest room if you want…". Disappointed, Juno advances, leading to her back door. Before she could slide open the door and step through, I manage to get her attention by throwing a rock at the back of her head.

"Ow!! Jerk! What was that for?!!" "Don't feel so defeated already dude. Clean yourself up. We're going out to eat still even though you lost the bet, treat's on me bro, I'll feed you till you're full…trust!". Juno smiles, opening the door to her house. "You're the best Ex! Door's open whenever you get back!", she waves before heading in the house.

Current time: 7:10 p.m.

Ex-shin heads home and packs a bag for the stay at Juno's place. Some time later, Ex walks through the front door to her house.

Current time: 7:45 p.m.

"Hey Junooooo! You done with your shower yet?" "Yeah, I'm in my room right now…it's open for you to get clean. I'll see you downstairs when you're done.".

Time: 8:10 p.m.

I step out of the steaming hot bathroom, ready to go out with Juno to eat. Donning on a pair of blue, baggy jeans, I step down the stairs in my white and cyan sneakers with a light blue jacket unzipped over my plain white shirt. "Yo Juno…you ready to go? I just got out the shower.". With a slight turn to my left, I see Juno sitting on her couch in almost the same attire I'm in. "Sup Ex! I see you wanted to be like me!", "Be like who? Stop smiling like that because I'm not trying to be like YOU, that's forsure. You ready to head out now?". Juno stands, leading to her door before we exit the house. "Soooooo Where are we going?"Juno asks. "Right there.", I point, towards a large restaurant that illuminates the local area with its bright, orange lights. "There??? That's a very expensive restaurant Ex…are you sure we're eating THERE?? We don't even look classy enough to be eating there.".

"Trust me," Using time manipulation, a nice sized pouch appears in my hand filled with small BGB (Black Gold Bars) as I shake the bag. "With this, we could eat the whole restaurant five times fold if you'd like!". As we continue to walk, Juno grabs the bag to analyze it. "Dudeeeeeee…where did you get this from?? There's gotta be like

50 bars in there! This is more than enough to eat here and hell, buy the restaurant itself! Even after that, we'd still have more!".

I laugh as we approach our eating place."Welp! It's that time…Let's eat!".

Friday, 9:00 a.m. The next day.

The day of the tournament. While walking to school with Juno, I hold my arm in pain dramatically from what happened yesterday. "You still hurt about that?", "No..I'm not hurt at all, just why did you have me arm wrestle three people at the same time? One of them turned into a bear and another one looked to be a muscle head, then the last one had amplified strength.". "But last time I checked, you won that easily it looked like. One against three at the same time…and you didn't even look like you were struggling or even trying. So stop being dramatic.".

Before I could get another word out we had already made it to school. The tournament. This is gonna be my first. All these losers around me better give a good fight. Juno and I walk through the side gate of the school straight to where the school's futuristic stadium is. Before the announcer spoke, I suddenly felt a sharp headache come across me as crazy thoughts of chaos and destruction flood my mind.

Welcome boys and girls! Men and women! To the yearly end of school tournament! I am your announcer, Kimi! And this year we have new faces ready to fight for champion!

Fighters get ready because the first fight will start in 45 minutes! Masu Inca vs Orion Kim

"Well I'ma go change in the locker room, I'll be back!". I wave at Juno. "See ya ina bit!!". Away from everyone else, I hold my head and catch my breath a little. "What was that I was just thinking about..? Chaos? But why?".
