Fated Adventure.

Chapter 165: 164. Surprise!

Aladdin wandered through the Cave of Wonders, the old man's instructions echoing in his mind. Only the lamp. Nothing else.

The cavern was a treasure trove beyond imagination—mountains of gold, sparkling gems, and priceless artifacts stacked in careless abundance. But Aladdin ignored it all, his eyes locked on the prize.

At the very end of the cave, perched atop a stone plinth, sat a single golden lamp.

Excitement surged through him. Finally, the task was nearly complete. He climbed the steps, his fingers stretching out—

Only for another hand to snatch it away.

"Huh?!" Aladdin whipped around, startled.

A stranger stood before him—tall, dressed in strange clothing, with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that radiated an unsettling confidence.

"Go to sleep."

A wave of exhaustion crashed over Aladdin like a storm. His vision blurred, his limbs turned to lead, and with a soft thud, both he and the chattering monkey collapsed onto the stone steps.

Now, you might be wondering, "Ryan, why the hell are you suddenly in Aladdin?"

Well, here's the thing—I'm not in Aladdin.

And if the genie lamp in my hands isn't a big enough clue, then congratulations, you're an idiot.

"Fuck you mean you're not in Aladdin?!"

To that, I say—Patience, young grasshopper. All will be revealed in time.

I turned the golden lamp over in my hands, running my fingers along the intricate engravings. Without further delay, I rubbed my wrist against it.

A puff of blue smoke burst forth, rapidly expanding and twisting into a massive, ethereal figure.

A large, blue-skinned being stretched his arms with an exaggerated groan.

"Ten thousand years will give you such a crick in the neck—whoa, hold up!" The Genie's gaze landed on the unconscious street rat slumped on the stairs. "What happened to him?"

"Just gave him a little nap. No worries." I waved dismissively before flashing the Genie a grin. "Anyway, nice to meet you! I already know the rules, so let's get straight to business. I've got my first wish ready."

"Straight to the wishes, huh?" The Genie looked a little disappointed. "No 'Wow, you're real!' or 'Holy cow, you're huge!'? Nothing?"

I chuckled. "Sorry, buddy, but I came prepared. So, for my first wish—" I smirked. "—I want to become a Keyblade Master."

The Genie blinked. "Huh. Okay, that's a new one."

"I mean the full package—my own Keyblade, Keyblade Armor, a Keyblade Glider, knowledge of Keyblade combat, magic, world travel, and all the general expertise that comes with being a Keyblade Master."

That's right, folks. We weren't just in Aladdin. We were in Kingdom Hearts.

And that meant the entire multiverse was now open to me—Disney, Final Fantasy, and beyond.

The Genie stared for a second, then shrugged. "Alright, kid. You got it."

He snapped his fingers.

A sudden surge of power flooded through me. My body pulsed with energy, my mind expanding as an overwhelming influx of knowledge filled my brain—combat techniques, spellcasting, summoning, even the nuances of traveling between worlds.

A flash of light enveloped me. When it faded, I stood clad in sleek Keyblade Armor, the weight of it familiar, natural. And in my hand, a gleaming silver weapon materialized—a massive key-shaped sword, its intricate keychain swaying gently at the hilt.

A grin spread across my face.

As for my second wish, I hadn't thought that far ahead. This was an impulse decision, you know? One of those eureka moments where genius strikes, and you just roll with it.

Then it hit me.

"For my second wish, I wish for acausality—so I won't be affected by changes in time or time-based attacks."

The Genie raised a brow. "Oof. That's… specific. But hey, your wish is my command!"

He snapped his fingers again, and I felt a shift within me—a fundamental change, subtle yet absolute.

[King and all peerage members gain acausality, becoming immune to time travel paradoxes and time-based attacks.]

Perfect! Now I could freely mess with time without worrying about paradoxes or cheap time-stop abilities.

"Your wish has been granted. You got one left." The Genie crossed his arms.

I smirked. "For my third wish, I wish for your freedom."

The Genie froze. "Wait, what?"

But I was already moving.

I grabbed Aladdin and his monkey before dashing out of the cave, ignoring the stunned Genie who had just been granted his freedom.

— — —

A decrepit old man in a black cloak stood at the entrance of the Cave of Wonders. Jafar, disguised and waiting.

However, he never saw the Keyblade that sliced through his neck like a hot knife through butter.

The last thing he witnessed was his own headless body crumpling to the sand, his head landing a few feet away, eyes still wide in shock.

As for Aladdin, I dumped him and Abu into the shade of a nearby rock.

Did I feel guilty for snatching his wishes and freeing the Genie myself?

Not really.

The guy wasted his wishes in the original story anyway.

I mean, I get it—Princess Jasmine is one of the better-looking Disney princesses. But come on, wishing to be a prince without any real power or wealth? That was just dumb.

Could I have wished for something even more broken? Sure. But I needed versatility, and Keyblades were perfect for traveling across worlds. Plus, the combat knowledge, magic, and mobility that came with being a Keyblade Master were insanely useful.

Granted, my knowledge of Kingdom Hearts was iffy at best. Played through maybe two or three of the games, tops. But I did know enough to realize the sheer potential it offered.

This? This was a damn good trade for a single Peerage piece.

Anyway, I should probably head back. I had basically let out a mad cackle, grabbed a Peerage piece, and then fucked off with the girls all looking confused.

[Apologies, I was feeling a bit tired today and took a long nap earlier so didn't get much writing done today. Anyway feel free to drop me some soda money and power stones. Cashapp $Ryantheholy]
