"Morning. Sorry have you been trying to wake me up?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes, but it's okay. I guess you're jetlagged." Jungkook said.

"Not really. I'm just not a morning person. My hyung used to pour a glass of water on my face just to get me up for school." Taehyung said as he stretched.

"I don't think I have the heart to do that." Jungkook said as he stood up and pulled Taehyung's hands to make him sit down.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook from head to toe.

"Are you off to a runway walk or something?" Taehyung asked.

"You think it's too much?" Jungkook asked.

"Maybe lose the jacket? It's a bit hot outside. Not unless your objective is to compete with the hotness of the climate here?" Taehyung asked.

"Oh, so now you think I'm hot?"Jungkook asked.

"Smoking." Taehyung bluntly said.

Jungkook flicked the younger's chin and shook his head.

"Go get ready then eat your japchae. I have plans to take you somewhere but you're making me want to just stay here and do something else." Jungkook said.

Taehyung just sat still and smiled at Jungkook.

"Kim Tarhyung!" Jungkook said while laughing.

Taehyung laughed too. "I was just kidding, I'll take a shower now." Taehyung said as he hopped out of bed and went straight to the bathroom.

Taehyung went out wearing a robe to get some clothes from his suitcase. While walking towards it, he could feel Jungkook staring at him.

"You know, I don't get you. If you like staring at me that much, you can simply come over and kiss me. I'm free to touch you know." Taehyung said as he winked at Jungkook.

"Tae, I wasn't lusting over you. I was admiring you and you ruined it for me. Tsk." Jungkook said.

"You're such a gentleman. Pfft." Taehyung placed his tongue out at Jungkook, grabbed some clothes and went back to the bathroom.

While Taehyung was in the bathroom, Jungkook's phone rang and he looked at it to see who was calling.

With a heavy sigh, he rose up from his chair and took the call outside the balcony.

J: What is it?

??: Where are you right now?

J: I'm in Malta.

??: Oh. When are you coming home?

J: In a couple of days.

??: Can't you be more specific than that?

J: What do you want?

??: What do you mean what do I want? Am I not allowed to miss you?

J: Did dad put you up to this?

??: No. You still haven't talked to him?

J: Why would I? Last we talked I was still in high school and I'm not planning to talk to him anytime soon. Is that all?

??: Why are you dissing me right now?

"Kook!?" Taehyung called from inside.

J: Listen I have to go.

??: Who was that?

J: A friend. I have to go.

Jungkook ended the call and went back inside. When he saw Taehyung, he was mesmerized yet again.

"So, who's about to walk on a runway now?" Jungkook said.

"Well, since I'd be walking around Malta with you beside me, I don't want to look like a rag doll beside you." Taehyung said.

"Still a doll, nonetheless." Jungkook said.

"You always have a comeback on things I say, huh?" Taehyung said as he sat down in front of the table where the food was set.

"When I have a point, yes." Jungkook said as he watched Taehyung scoop up a big serving of japchae, placing it on his plate.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Taehyung asked.

"I already did. So, go ahead. I'll just watch you eat." Jungkook said as Taehyung gobbled up a spoonful of food in his mouth.

"So, I forgot to ask you. How long are you staying here?" Taehyung asked.

"I have to fly back in three days. Coincidenfally, I'm on my 3-day rest period. So I need to get back to work after that." Jungkook said.

"Are you flying back to Korea after?" Taehyung asked.

"Yeah."

"Bummer." Taehyung said.

"Why?"

"Cause I don't want to go back home yet. Planning to go somewhere else after Malta, just don't know where yet." Taehyung said.

"As if you can't. From what my brother told me before, all employees under Cypher gets to fly for free under the company, right?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes, but that' s after staying in the company for 5 years."

"Why, how long have you been with Cypher?" Taehyung asked.

"Two years." Jungkook said.

"Oh, fairly new. Where did you work before that?" Taehyung said.

"Military service." Jungkook said.

"That means we probably took it at the same time. But, I joined the military band since I really love to sing." Taehyung said.

"Perhaps we should do karaoke sometime." Jungkook said.

"That would be fun." Taehyung said.

They continued on with their converstaion until it was time for them to leave.

"Where are you taking me anyway?" Taehyung asked.

"MUZA Art Museum." Jungkook said.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook and furrowed his brows. "Did you ask Jin hyung about what I planned to do here too?"

"Huh? No. I just figured you'd like it since it falls under your field." Jungkook said.

"How thoughtful of you then. Thank you." Taehyung said as he held Jungkook's arm and hugged it.

"You are most welcome." Jungkook said as he took Taehyung's hand and intertwined their fingers together.

When the two came back to the hotel, the front desk had a note for Jungkook. He found out that one of the pilots scheduled for another flight had to be quarantined due to a virus, so they're a pilot short. Since the company knew that Jungkook was in Malta, they asked if he was willing to cut his rest day short and fly to Japan.

"Damn it." Jungkook said.

"Why? What is it?" Taehyung asked.

"I have to fly to Japan tomorrow as one of the pilots for the flight got sick." Jungkook said.

Taehyung noticed the frustration in Jungkook's face so he decided to cheer him up.

"What time do we have to leave?" Taehyung asked.

"What?" Jungkook asked to check if he heard him right.

"What time do WE have to leave?" Taehyung asked again.

"Tae, are you sure?" Jungkook said as his face lit hp. "You don't have to go with me. You can still stay since that was your plan to begin with." He added as he didn't really want to impose on the younger.

"I didn't plan to meet you here, did I?" Taehyung said.

"I can just kiss you right now." Jungkook said.

"Then, what's stopping you?" Taehyung said.

"Let's take this to our room, shall we?" Jungkook said.

The kiss happened way before they reached their room as the moment the elevator door closed, Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's waist and kissed him hungrily.
