FNaF x Touhou: The Golden Soul

Chapter 16: Lunar princess

It was a Normal night in Gensokyo, as normal as you can get in a place full of Yokai, then everyone heard a scream

"CHRIS AFTON GET BACK HERE!".

As it shows Chris, Chris lands from the sky, his wings moving as he starts to fly, as he was being chased by an army of shoulder, with them was a girl

She had fair skin, dark brown eyes and very long black hair. She wears a pink shirt with many white bows and a long, dark burgundy skirt decorated in yellow with bamboo and flower shapes. Her 5 Impossible Requests are seen floating around her, probably waiting for her order to engage in a Spell Card attack.

Chris entered that of Muenzuka, as he hid behind a tree and sighed

"So what did you do to piss her off".

Chris looked to see where the voice came from as it was Kagerou. "Hi Kagerou".

Kagerou looked as she went down. "You still didn't answer my question, what did you do to piss off one of many lovers".

Chris looked at her as he spoke. "You act like you aren't one of them".

Kagerou blushed as she spoke. "Not the pointed you damm Angel".

Chris looked as he spoke. "I kinda forgot, today was our anniversary of the first time we met".

Kagerou let out a laugh as she spoke. "Oh if you weren't already dead, you are more dead". She wiped a tear from her eyes as she spoke. "So quick question: I am one of the few people who have zero idea how you two met, so how did you two?".

Chris shrugged as she spoke. "Not much of a longer story".

Flashback

It was a quiet evening in the depths of the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. Chris had just stumbled upon the forest after a rather… chaotic incident involving a random portal that opened out of nowhere. He had hoped to find something peaceful for once, but of course, that wasn't the case. The moment he walked in, he could feel something watching him.

As Chris moved cautiously through the bamboo, he noticed a strange figure ahead. A woman was standing by a tree, seemingly waiting for something—or someone. Her long, dark hair flowed freely, and her figure was adorned in a dark burgundy skirt with intricate designs that made her appear ethereal.

Without even realizing it, Chris blurted out, "Uh, excuse me?"

The woman turned around, her dark brown eyes staring at him, her face calm and collected as if she'd seen a thousand strangers pass through. "Ah, a human? How curious. You are far from where you belong."

Chris blinked, confused, but his natural charm kicked in. "I'm not exactly a human, if we're being technical. But I'm guessing you're not from around here either?"

The woman smiled softly, her gaze unreadable. "I am Kaguya Houraisan, Princess of the Eternal Night. You are far from the human realm. Do you seek something?"

Chris tilted his head, recognizing the name from his knowledge of Gensokyo's lore. "Wait... aren't you some sort of immortal princess or something? How's that working out for you?"

She didn't answer directly. Instead, Kaguya raised an eyebrow at him. "You seem unusually unphased. Are you always this direct?"

Chris smiled. "I'm a fan of honesty. Plus, it's nice to meet someone who isn't trying to kill me right away for once."

That comment sparked a slight chuckle from Kaguya, which she quickly masked. "I do not often meet many humans who speak with such confidence. I find it... interesting."

Chris, not one to shy away from further conversation, leaned on a nearby tree. "Well, I'm used to odd encounters. Gensokyo's full of strange things, and I've seen a lot. Anyway, I was kind of hoping to find a place to relax. Is this a good spot?"

Kaguya eyed him carefully before nodding slightly. "I suppose it is. If you seek tranquility, you will not find it without paying a price first. Everything in this land comes at a cost."

"Sounds like you have a habit of playing games with people," Chris remarked with a grin.

Kaguya tilted her head, a playful smirk gracing her lips. "Perhaps. But if you're truly here for peace, then perhaps you've stumbled upon something you weren't expecting."

Chris raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What's that?"

Before Kaguya could respond, there was a burst of energy in the air, followed by a distant, familiar voice.

"Chris Afton! Where the hell are you?!"

Kaguya blinked and looked to the sky, unfazed. "It seems someone is looking for you."

Chris sighed dramatically. "Yeah, that's probably Eirin or one of her little henchmen. Gotta love the way Gensokyo works. Can't get a minute of peace."

Kaguya smirked, clearly amused by the situation. "You have caused quite the stir, haven't you?"

Chris just shrugged, not at all surprised. "Guess I have a knack for making a scene wherever I go."

Before Kaguya could respond further, a group of floating magical orbs appeared around her, swirling in an intricate dance. Kaguya snapped her fingers, and the orbs shot off, forming a barrier around the area.

"Not so fast, human. You cannot leave yet, not before you face what is coming."

Chris quickly realized he'd inadvertently stumbled into yet another mess, and yet... this moment felt oddly familiar. Maybe it was the way Kaguya's enigmatic nature mirrored the chaos of his own life. Either way, he wasn't going anywhere without a fight.

End of Flashback

Chris chuckled softly, shaking his head. "And that's how we met. She was trying to trap me for some odd reason, but I escaped in the end. Funny thing was, she kept following me after that. And... well, here we are."

Kagerou blinked, clearly processing the story. "So, you basically had a fight from the get-go? Sounds like a great start to a relationship."

Chris just shrugged. "It's not the most conventional way to get close to someone, but it worked out. Kaguya's... well, she's Kaguya. Immortal, a bit cold, but she's not so bad once you get to know her."

Kagerou shook her head, still skeptical. "You're insane, you know that?"

Chris grinned, his usual carefree smile returning. "Guilty as charged."

As the memory faded, the reality of the present moment set in. The night sky was still clear, and the echoing scream from Kaguya wasn't far behind. Chris glanced at Kagerou with a sly grin.

"So... want to help me get out of here before she finds me?"

Kagerou rolled her eyes but chuckled. "You never learn, do you?"

Kagerou looked as she spoke. "So, how old did you look back then?".

Chris looked at her as he started to fly. "I looked like a 9-year-old back then".

She looked as she spoke. "So you meet her 2 weeks after meeting".

Chris shrugged as he spoke. "Yeah, pretty much, let's get going before they figure that they lost track of me".

He reached his hand out of her, she holds, as Chris pulled close as she wrapped her arms around his neck, as wrapped his left arm around her waist, as they flew off.

Kagerou chuckled softly as she adjusted herself in his grip, still not fully convinced by the whole situation but unwilling to let Chris face whatever mess he'd gotten himself into alone. The night wind rushed past them as they soared high above Gensokyo, the lights of the Lunar Capital visible in the distance.

"You're lucky she hasn't caught up to you yet," Kagerou muttered, her eyes scanning the sky for any sign of pursuit.

Chris smirked, his wings cutting through the air with ease. "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. And besides, I'm not the only one with a few surprises."

Kagerou raised an eyebrow. "Meaning what?"

Chris didn't answer right away, his attention shifting to the capital in the distance. "You'll see soon enough. Let's just say… I have a way of making things interesting."

The Lunar Capital loomed larger as they approached, the towering structures glinting under the light of the moon. A serene yet imposing atmosphere surrounded the place, with its elegant architecture and the glowing embers from the many shrines scattered across the landscape.

"Guess we're almost there," Kagerou remarked, her voice softening as the sounds of pursuit faded behind them.

Chris nodded. "Yeah, but knowing Kaguya... she won't stop that easily. She might send some of her servants to track us down."

Kagerou tightened her grip around his neck, clearly more alert now. "And what's your plan? Run forever?"

Chris smirked. "I never said anything about running. I'm just... taking a detour. Trust me."

The duo flew closer to the capital, weaving between the tall towers and the majestic palaces, a stark contrast to the chaos of the chase just moments ago. The moonlight bathed everything in a soft glow, almost as if Gensokyo itself was silently watching their every move.

As they neared a quiet, secluded area on the outskirts of the city, Chris lowered them gently onto a grassy patch. "Here's where we make our stand."

Kagerou raised an eyebrow again, glancing around. "We're just going to wait here?"

Chris nodded with a grin. "Pretty much. They'll catch up soon enough. But when they do, I want to be ready."

The sound of distant footsteps and quiet murmurs reached their ears. The hunt was on.

"Just don't say I didn't warn you," Kagerou said, still not entirely sure of Chris's plan.

Chris winked, his confidence unwavering. "Don't worry. I've got this."

He let out a small breath, focusing his magical energy. The air around him seemed to vibrate with a strange, electric current. As the magical aura enveloped him, his wings flared slightly, and the ground beneath him seemed to pulse with hidden power.

A moment later, the first of Kaguya's servants appeared, cautiously stepping into the clearing. Chris smirked as he turned to Kagerou. "Game time."

The one to Approce then was a girl, as she is a moon rabbit with short blue hair, red eyes, and wears a black business suit with a red tie and beige skirt, along with white lop rabbit ear

[Insert Image of Reisen]

Reisen moved her head, but then she was kissed by Chris, he had first checked who was coming with his magic, then he acted he grabbed in and made an invisible barrier as he closed her mouth, Reisen looked to see who did, only too find it was her Boyfriend, as her face went Tomato red as saw the rest of the army pass then like they didn't see them.

Reisen's eyes widened in surprise as she felt Chris's magic wash over her, followed by the soft, sudden pressure of his lips on hers. Her initial shock quickly faded into a warm blush as she realized who it was, her heart skipping a beat.

With the barrier sealing her mouth, she couldn't speak, but her red face and wide eyes said everything. The sound of the rest of the army passing by in the distance seemed to fade as the world around her narrowed to just the two of them in that moment.

Chris pulled back slightly, his golden eyes sparkling with mischief. "Don't worry," he whispered, his voice teasing yet gentle, "I've got it all under control."

Reisen blinked, still flustered, her heart racing as she looked around, seeing the army of Kaguya's followers passing by, completely unaware of the two of them hiding in plain sight.

She finally managed to break free of the spell, lifting a hand to her now-flushed cheek. "You... you really caught me off guard there," she muttered, her voice a mixture of surprise and embarrassment.

Chris grinned, his wings flicking behind him as he relaxed. "Had to make sure you were focused," he said, his voice light. "If we let them get too close, things could get messy."

Reisen crossed her arms, still trying to get a grip on her flustered feelings. "You know, you really are insufferable sometimes," she said with a playful scowl, though her tone betrayed the affection she felt.

Chris raised an eyebrow, his smirk never fading. "But you love me for it."

Reisen rolled her eyes, though a smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "I guess... just try not to surprise me like that next time."

As the last of the army moved further away, Chris turned to Kagerou, who had been watching the whole exchange in silence, her lips curled into an amused smile.

"Looks like we can rest for now," Chris said, gesturing to the now-quiet clearing. "They won't notice we're gone for a while."

Reisen glanced at Kagerou, a little embarrassed by the situation but feeling a sense of calm after the close call. "You didn't... you didn't tell her about this, did you?"

Kagerou laughed softly, shaking her head. "No promises," she teased. "But I'll let you two have your moment."

Chris chuckled, glancing at Reisen, whose face was still tinged with red. "I guess this'll be our little secret, huh?"

Reisen gave him a sideways look, still slightly flustered. "Let's just... keep it that way for now."

As the three of them stood there, the sounds of the pursuit grew distant, and for a moment, everything felt quiet and still, the tension lifting as they regrouped and planned their next move.

"Alright," Chris said, his tone becoming more serious. "We've got some time, but we should head to the Lunar Capital. Kaguya will be looking for me, and I'm not ready to deal with her tantrums just yet."

Kagerou gave a nod, her eyes narrowing as she surveyed the area once more. "Agreed. Let's keep it low for now."

Reisen, still catching her breath from the surprise, nodded in agreement. "I'll keep an eye out for any more of Kaguya's minions."

With that, the trio set off once again, moving quietly through the night, the tension of the chase replaced by the sense of camaraderie that had formed between them. Whatever challenges lay ahead, they knew they could face them together.

Kagerou looked at Chris as she spoke. "So how are you gonna make it up to Kaguya?".

Chris Smirked looking at them. "I have a plan, a highly Attention-getting plan".

Reisen spoke Looking at as she spoke. "You like getting a lot of attention, don't you?".

A few hours later.

As Kaguya was still mad, as her army didn't find Chris as she sighed, as she spoke. "Maybe I should give up?".

One of the shoulders spoke. "Um, Mistress?"

Kaguya titled her head, as she looked into the sky her eyes Widnet as she saw a bullet hell battle happiness, but there was para particular way too, as then it came together as then formed's world's

Kaguya stared, her expression shifting from frustration to surprise as she watched the intricate bullet hell patterns form in the sky. The chaos of the colorful projectiles twisted and danced, only to suddenly come together in a breathtakingly beautiful shape—a message, clear as day, spelling out:

"Sorry for forgetting our anniversary, I love you Kaguya - From Chris."

Her heart skipped a beat as the realization sank in. Chris had done this, orchestrated this entire spectacle just to apologize for his earlier oversight. She couldn't help but stare at the message, a mixture of emotions swirling inside her—anger, confusion, and something else that she couldn't quite define. It wasn't just a simple apology. It was a grand gesture, the kind that only someone like Chris could pull off.

Her army stood still, murmuring amongst themselves, confused by the sheer scale of the display. The strange blend of beauty and chaos was undoubtedly something they'd never seen before. But it was Kaguya who was left in awe, unable to look away from the floating message.

"Is this... really for me?" she whispered to herself.

One of her subordinates, still unsure, spoke up. "Mistress, what should we do now?"

Kaguya blinked, her thoughts snapping back to the present. Her expression softened, and she closed her eyes for a brief moment, a quiet smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

"...Let him have his moment," she muttered. "But I will get him back for this."

As the chaotic bullet hell continued to swirl above them, Kaguya couldn't help but feel a mix of annoyance and affection toward Chris. She had been furious with him for forgetting their anniversary, but now, seeing this elaborate apology, she realized it was just like him—he always did things in his own, over-the-top way. The fact that he'd gone this far to make up for it... well, it was hard to stay mad for long.

"Alright," she said, her tone calmer now, "let's go back to the capital. We have more important things to focus on, but... I suppose I can't stay mad at him forever."

As her army turned to head back, Kaguya lingered for a moment, watching the bullet hell battle in the sky slowly fade away, the message disappearing as the last few shots fizzled out. She sighed, shaking her head with a smirk.

"Next time, Chris... next time, you won't get off so easily."

But deep down, she knew the truth—no matter what tricks he pulled, she couldn't stay angry at him for long. Not when he cared enough to do something like this.

Back with Chris, Kagerou and Reisen watched from a distance, both smirking at the outcome.

Kagerou chuckled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Well, it looks like you've got her right where you want her, huh?"

Chris gave a small, satisfied grin. "I told you I had a plan."

Reisen shook her head, but there was a soft smile on her face. "You really do enjoy this, don't you? Getting attention, making a scene…"

Chris shrugged nonchalantly. "Hey, if it works, it works. But it's all for Kaguya. I'm not gonna let her stay mad at me for too long."

Kagerou nodded. "Well, I think this means your anniversary is officially saved."

Chris's grin widened. "Exactly. And now, we move on to the next challenge."

As they turned to leave, Chris couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He may have created a bit of chaos, but it was the kind of chaos that worked in his favor, and sometimes, that was all that mattered.
