Forced By OAA To Be His Sucessor.

Chapter 69: Chapter 67: Unlock Pet Store...

A Week Later…

It had been a week since Leo took the Veela into his care.

With the help of the system, a settlement was created out of thin air in the forest surrounding Morningstar Mansion to accommodate them.

When Leo questioned the system about this, it explained that the Garden was designed to assist him in his task of collecting every type of magical creature in the wizarding world.

As Leo acquired new creatures, their habitats would automatically adapt to provide the most suitable living conditions.

Since the Veela had accepted his offer and agreed to settle in the accommodation he provided, the system acknowledged them as magical creatures and adjusted the forest accordingly to create the ideal environment for them.

This, in turn, completed one of his tasks.

The Veela preferred to live in a lush, green environment, surrounded by vibrant flowers and a serene atmosphere.

To meet these conditions, the system created elegant treehouses covered in blooming flowers, with a small freshwater pond at the centre, where colourful fish swam gracefully.

The pond was also surrounded by aquatic magical herbs, enhancing the overall beauty of the settlement.

The Veela loved their new home and quickly settled into their new life.

Leo gave them the freedom to come and go as they pleased, with only one restriction—they could not bring outsiders into the settlement without his permission.

However, what surprised him the most was that none of them showed any desire to leave.

With wary smiles, they told him they had no intention of stepping outside this safe haven.

When Leo's wives heard their full story from both him and Eileen, they could only pity the Veela for the horrors they had endured.

Hagoromo Gitsune, however, was furious and vowed that her husband would find a way to avenge them.

That day, Leo, along with Mavis, Kejoro, and Hagoromo Gitsune, planned to visit their new store before its grand opening.

Their goal was to prepare the shop, while the others would join them later.

With Hogwarts' school year approaching, young wizards were frequently visiting the Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, making it the prime season for business.

Because of this, Eileen had become extremely busy, with Wakana and Setsura assisting her in the shop.

They would join the others once the crowd settled down.

Diagon Alley…

After arriving at Diagon Alley through the Floo Network—which connected the Cauldron & Charm Apothecary with his mansion—Leo stepped out onto the bustling streets.

The alley was filled with all kinds of people, eagerly moving about, shopping, and chatting.

'System, collect the reward for the task.'

Leo mentally commanded as he took in the vibrant surroundings.

[ Ding… ]

[ Task 2: Collect Your First Fantastic Beast ]

[ Description: The Thunderbird rewarded by the system does not count. The host must capture one himself.

Task Reward: Licensed Pet Store x1, Owls x30, Rats x45, Cats x35, Puffskeins x25.]

[ Reward Being Issued… ]

[ Detecting an existing shop under the host's banner… ]

[ Merging the two shops… ]

[ Ding… ]

[ Shop merge complete! ]

The shop is now a two-story building.

Ground Floor: Potion shop.First Floor: Pet store.

Pets are being allocated to their respective floor…

Hearing the series of notifications, Leo was momentarily stunned.

This was completely unexpected!

He had assumed that the system would provide a new pet shop in a different part of Diagon Alley—which was why he, Kejoro, and Hagoromo Kitsune had come ahead.

Sigh~

But now that the new pet store was simply merged with the Cauldron & Charm Apothecary, all their previous plans were unnecessary.

"What happened, Leo?"

Kejoro, standing to his right, noticed his sigh and asked curiously.

"Is the shop too far from here?"

Hagoromo Kitsune, looking at his reaction, assumed the system must have placed the shop somewhere distant.

"No… It's quite the opposite. The pet store has been merged with Cauldron & Charm."

Leo shook his head, explaining the unexpected change.

"____"

"____"

Both women looked confused.

As Leo turned back to open the shop door, neither of them expected much.

But the moment the door swung open, they were left completely stunned.

The interior of the shop had expanded.

Curiously, they followed Leo inside and immediately noticed a simple staircase leading to an upper floor—something that had not existed just a moment ago.

Sigh~

"No matter how many times I see it… it still amazes me."

Hagoromo Kitsune voiced her awe, shaking her head slightly.

Ever since she became Leo's woman, she had learned about the system—how it helped him grow stronger and even travel between worlds.

But no matter how many times she witnessed its power, she couldn't stop being amazed.

"Yeah… I just hope the pet shop is as good as the potion shop."

Nodding, Kejoro stepped forward, placing a hand on the railing, and began making her way upstairs to the first floor.

The entrance was marked by a wooden sign featuring a sleeping Kneazle, curled around a bubbling cauldron, emphasizing its connection to the apothecary below.

The shop windows were enchanted, shifting every few minutes to showcase a different magical creature—a hooting owl, a slithering snake, or a purring cat—capturing the attention of passersby.

Inside, wooden shelves and enclosures lined the walls, filled with cages, glass terrariums, and perches, each housing a unique magical pet.

A warm, flickering light filled the space, cast by floating enchanted lanterns near the ceiling.

The cozy atmosphere made the shop feel inviting, despite the occasional chirps, squeaks, and flutters from its many inhabitants.

Near the counter, a large, enchanted notice board displayed a list of available magical pets, along with their unique properties and care instructions.

As Leo, Kejoro, and Hagoromo Kitsune took in the sight of the shop, they noted that, despite the variety of creatures, the atmosphere remained surprisingly quiet—warm, welcoming, and well-organized.

Chime~

A soft chime rang through the shop, signaling that someone had entered.

Frown~

"Isn't it too early for a customer? There's still an hour before we officially open, right?"

Leo glanced at the clock on the wall, which confirmed that the shop wasn't supposed to open yet.

"Yeah... Let's see who it is,"

Kejoro responded with a nod before making her way downstairs.

Upon reaching the ground floor, she was met with a surprising sight—standing at the entrance were Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, accompanied by a Muggle family.

The two professors looked serious, while the Muggle parents appeared uneasy, as if they had just experienced something frightening.

Kejoro recognized the professors from their previous visits when they escorted young witches and wizards along with their families.

"Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, are you here for the usual routine?"

Kejoro asked, her gaze shifting between them and the nervous-looking Muggle family.

Sigh~

"____"

"Yes... Sorry for the trouble, but this situation is a bit different,"

Flitwick replied with an awkward smile, adjusting his glasses as he gave a polite, apologetic nod.

McGonagall, meanwhile, was momentarily stunned as her sharp eyes landed on the wooden staircase to the side—something that hadn't been there during her visit just yesterday.

"____"

"Don't worry, Professor. Please, come in. Leo is upstairs,"

Kejoro assured them, gesturing for them to follow.

"You don't need to worry,"

Flitwick added, turning to the Muggle family in an attempt to ease their obvious tension.

"We'll stay here for a while."

Despite his reassuring tone, the atmosphere remained heavy, the Muggle parents still visibly on edge.

As they climbed the stairs, McGonagall's gaze fell upon the wooden sign at the top, featuring a sleeping Kneazle curled around a bubbling cauldron.

Her curiosity piqued as she took in the unexpected changes.

"Did Leo renovate the shop? I don't remember seeing this staircase yesterday,"

she remarked, breaking the tense silence.

Fufu~

Kejoro chuckled at her reaction.

"Yes… It was completed this morning. The upstairs is now responsible for selling pets."

McGonagall's eyes widened in mild shock when she noticed the Kneazle in the painting suddenly move, lifting its paw in a slow, playful wave from the window.
