Forsaken in a Dying World

Kai Woke up in a dark place

"Where am I? What is this place?"

He gets up and recognizes the place

"Th-This is my cathedral?"

Kai walks toward the throne, A shadowy Figure is sitting there. The sounds of metal chains being moved could be heard

Kai immediately takes a fighting stance."Wh-WHO ARE YOU"

The Mysterious figure moves, Sounds of Metal chains were heard again.

Kai saw that the mysterious figure was trapped It was being held by chains Not even a part of the skin could be seen

"Why are you chained here? Have you always been here?...."

Nothing but silence followed

He saw writings float in the sky

"I am The Forgotten King.... I am Suprised you Insolent human tried to utter my name"

Kai yelled

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT"

The Mysterious figure's right eye was glowing a golden color

Kai Felt the same amount of pain as before

Kai fell to his knees gasping for air cold sweat running down his body

He spat out blood, kai's hand gripping his shirt near his heart

"Wh-What is this"

The mysterious figure coughed blood running down from the chains

"Huh this is what I am now huh.... An empty shell with nothing..."

Kai's pain suddenly went away.

He got up and came closer to the figure

It was a man chained to his throne kai coudn't see how he looked like

Not even a hair was visible

Kai asked

"Why are you chained up like this...what happened to you?"

Xae sighed

"Long story short.. people are greedy they want everything they can. If they can't get it then they remove it."

after a break he screamed

"JUST LIKE ME WHAT DID I EVER DO I ALSO DREAMED THE FUTURE FOR ME FOR US HUMANS. I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING THAT I AM AND THEY SEAL ME AWAY THEY REMOVE ME FROM HISTORY. IS THIS ALL I AM WORTH? 

Kai could feel his sorrow even though [Child of Chaos] was used

Kai went closer to the chained being and hugged him

"Its Okay. I may not be the brightest tool but I am reliable. Trust me and rest You have done well, Your Highness"

Cries echoed through the room

After a while Xae said

"I may not have anything to offer. I gave you my inheritance, There is only one thing that I can offer you now."

Kai asked

"What?"

Xae said 

"The ways to Unlock[All knowers Eye],[Memoire of The Forgotten King] and a martial art, technically I mean you will unlock this when you unlock [Memoire of The Forgotten King]"

Kai in a cheerful voice replied

"Really?? PLEASE TEACH ME YOUR WAYS TEACHER"

Xae laughed

"You are Funny you know?. Most people feared me."

After a while he added

"To unlock [All Knowers Eye] You need to reach Diamond rank and for [Memoire of The Forgotten King] You need to use [All Knowers Eye] that is all I can say. I see that our time together was short but It was fun knowing who gets my blessing"

In a Cheerful voice Xae added

"I will always be looking after you. The One Loved By Shadows"

In the next moment Kai woke up to Alice crying

"THE F*CK HAPPENED WHAT DO I DO, WHAT DO I DO, DONT DIE ON ME!!!"

Kai told

"Uhm... What happened?"

Alice hugged him tightly

"You suddenly spat blood and became unconscious. It has been 3 Hours"

Kai got up and looked at Alice

"I am gonna go take a shower then I will train again just in case another "

Kai's face became pale

Alice understood Kai was talking about a threat at the level of the skeleton they fought

"O-okay I already took one I will cook some of the wolf meat"

After Kai was done the sun was starting to set

"I think we should take a month or so to train ourselves"

Alice nodded with a meat skewer on hand

"I awso thing so. He kai ever wondored whot harpy taste like?"

Kai replied

"Finish chewing then talk I cant understand anything"

Alice did a comically loud gulp

"Happy? and what were you talking about a month? sure"

Soon a week past by Alice and kai's training going like this

Bath at morning then breakfast

after breakfast they would practice with the sword until sunset after sunset

They ate dinner then Kai would exercise until late at night after that the would sleep then repeat

Weeks turned into month

Somewhere between that time they decided to make a month into 3

Soon 2 more months went by

By the time they were done Kai had a more muscular build with multiple scars in his hands given to him by Alice
